Great little place to get everything you need from ammo to horse supplies, to a cute t-shirt with a highland cow for your teen. Helpful staff, and great prices. We were in town from Texas, and were able to grab what we needed before heading home.

About 6 months ago I went to get a bag of chicken feed and the whole pallet of productwas soaked, moldy and gross. I tried not to go to this location since then but because it was on my way home today I stopped for cat food. I should have just gone to the one that was further away. Every bag of the brand I get was moldy, squishy at least on one side and there was a smell of mold coming from them. There was only a quarter pallet left which makes me wonder how many people got home or gave the food to their cats before they realized it was really bad. Watch out for quality issues when you shop here.

The store has been rearranged and new displays and sections have been created. Not really easy to find things yet, but Im sure after a few visits we will get the hang of it... having a fresh look was needed Im sure, but my Granddaughter did not like it today. She was looking forward to toy shopping ( now only seasonal during Christmas) and her candy isle.

You cant ever find help and the management yells at their employees in front of customers.

This was my first time visiting Atwoods. I was very surprised by the size of the store and all the products that they had to offer! One of their staff members had asked if l was finding everything okay. Said yes and she said great and she told me to have a great rest of my day! Very great experience!! I love that they sell baby chicks and baby ducklings! So cute!

I give Atwoods three stars. I really like shopping at Atwoods, mostly for bird seed and deer corn; they also have Ahmish Popcorn to pop in the microwave that is delicious. The bird seed shelves will be half full or empty; its difficult to find a clerk to check the warehouse; some of the clerks are super-helpful, others not at all; and the website is not user-friendly - its like being on software from the 90s. If theyre out of an item, you ask when theyre expecting a shipment and no one is ever sure. Its been that way for years, not just during the pandemic. As I said I like shopping at Atwoods but they dont make it easy.

Good deals on western wear and some decent amounts of ammo without the price gouging!

I was absolutely disgusted with the customer service in this particular store. Not only were they unhelpful and short but they are not following CDC guidelines within this store nor are they requiring their customers to either. They have an recorded message playing on their stores loudspeaker saying they care about their customers safety, to keep 6 feet of distance, etc, etc, etc. NONE OF THEM ARE DOING IT! Even the manager came out to help check out people in line and was not wearing a mask AND she allowed a man to cut the 5 people in line waiting and said nothing choosing to help him instead. We asked the cashier a question and she gave the answer of Dont know, Im new here. Its not worth the hassle of going to this store. Go to Wichita, they follow CDC guidelines there AND they are kind and helpful .

After having a bad experience with a rude Derby store employee. I called the Andover store and the manager Jack went above and beyond to right the situation! I have never had that type of 1 on 1 service anywhere! AmaIng! This manager called me several times to update me on the status of the items I was purchasing and when they came in I drove the extra miles to go pick them up!! Upon meeting Jack, I was very impressed with his professionalism! While walking through the store, I witnessed Jack helping multiple employees with their tasks. Also after completing my transaction I witnessed this man loading elderly people’s cars with their purchases! And bringing baskets back to the employee that was sanitizing them! All I can say is this man made my day after the Derby incident and it was my birthday!I am 62 and I had begun to think that treating people with dignity and respect and working that hard was no longer real!! You will see more of me in your store instead of my own hometown Derby store! I will also tell anyone that listens that they should go the extra mile and visit Andover Atwood’s! So thank you manager Jack for a job well done!!

I was overcharged by $1 each on my purchase at checkout. The girl said she needed Mgr approval to fix the problem. She called over the intercom, we waited and waited some more. No one came. I went to the back of the store, found him myself, but he had to answer a phone call first. I double checked the price, told the girl, and she said, oh she would just do the change. Now why didnt she just do that in the first place? No masks on any employee and most of the customers despite the intercom message constantly announcing Atwoods were doing that. Not ever going back!

My dad got him a trailer their were very helpful with the information we needed to buy it.

This was my first, and last experience with this particular store. With the virus, I’m trying to avoid about as much contact with random people as I can for the sake of my family, so I called in. I was transferred to about 5 different people for just needing a price and availability on an item. After being told “we have lots of different kinds, but we’re kinda busy” and pretty much told me she had to go. Sorry for being concerned about my family and practicing safe habits. I will not be stepping foot in this store, or any other Atwood’s from now on.

No help whatsoever. I was looking for dryer hose clamps. Some old man asked me Cant find em? I said no sir I cannot. He said ok and walked off. Not a happy camper. Atwoods USED to be my favorite place to go but no more. Oh and I am needing a new pair of cowboy boots. I wont be buying them here.

Went in tonight looking for something that I couldnt find. On the way out, the young kid by the front asked if I found what I was looking for to which I replied No, I was looking for a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. Not out of place considering their competition TSC and Northern Tool both carry them. This kid starts laughing and says we wouldnt have anything like that. Now I worked in a hardware store myself younger than he was and I dont recall ever laughing at a customer request regardless how out of place it seemed. Wont be going back.

I love what they have to offer however there is an older lady that works there. You will want to avoid her at all costs. Every time I have been there she is hateful and definitely not helpful. You might even say she is just plain mean. AVOID!!!! You will recognize the RBF!

So great having this store nearby. I cant tell you how many times Ive been able to get important tools/supplies here as soon as I needed them. They stock a great selection of hardware, tools, metalworking supplies, farm supplies, firearms, apparel and many other things. For general farm/shop related needs they usually have what youre looking for. Excellent local resource to have, they often have sales and prices are reasonable.

This store is almost always a good experience. For a farm store it is well organized and stocked up, especially on seasonal items. The firearms counter is great and the gun and ammo sale items just cant be beat. Keep an eye out for sale items and enjoy!

This Store has most anything I need for the farm except maybe for large Tractor parts and such. But for a local farm and ranch store I usually end up there at least once a week. BTW they have real competitive firearm prices also. I usually check there 1st for ammunition and firearms....

The Employees not very nice and was rude. Especially the young lady at the check out.. My husband and i brought a lot of things and she didnt put it in any bags.. I had to ask her for bags to put our things in.. She wasnt very nice at all.. Her attitude was awful. And we go there a lot.. I live in Andover..but think we will find another place to go to...

I took my little one here weekly for several years. She absolutely loved the free popcorn and then would head straight back to see the adorable chicks 🐥

Awesome store that carries all the odd ends you might need even if you dont live on a farm.Decent selection of tools, outdoor equipment and things for your pantry.Carries many old timey sodas and nice jams without a ton of additive in them.Has a very nice firearms selection and carries archery related items too.

My toddler was insanely impressed with their toy section and so was I, they have a lot of aisles dedicated to fun and different toys for kids. I would highly recommend going here over Walmart or Dillons for local Andover buying.

I dont live near here so I am not a regular but Ive shopped here a hand full of times now and have always found it to be clean and well stocked. Twice Ive had to come here for emergency repair items and have been happy they had them on the shelf. Occasionally theres a special here that my local store doesnt have so maybe theyre a more active location or something. We need to get the manager of this location and the manager of my location to talk more often!
