Having to deal with this NAPA Auto Parts work shop aint what I was expecting. I will go back a bit.About two weeks ago and the spring that opens the fuel door broke. Since I needed gas I went to the NAPA Parts Store to buy a new spring. They had to order one (2 weeks I was told). I wanted to pay in advance, but they wouldnt hear it. So, when I asked about how I was to keep the door open,a guy volunteered to come out and see. He said he could squeeze the metal frame (or whatever it was) into the fuel opening. I thought, the gave him the OK so he did.Which brings us to now. A week ago, I went to the NAPA Parts Store and got the spring. When I was going I offered $5 to anyone to come out and replace the spring. We went out, and the guy had no trouble exchanging the spring. That done I did remind him that the frame needed re-squeezing to be done. Therein lies the predicament. It was rather cold, wind was blowing, and three guys working on it and we could NOT get the fuel tank door to work. It did open twice. But no more.I was told to go down the street to Advance Auto Tech who used NAPA Parts! Was told to contact Gerald, andmy problem would go away. Well, it didnt... [More later.]

Talk to Louie the owner, he seems to be a good person no i did not have any repair done at the shop, i just pick up 3 cars from him to take them to the metal scrap yard ...

So glad we found this place! My mom has used this place several times and i plan on using them in the future when i need something done. They are quick, nice, and honest. Once they couldnt fix something on my moms vehicle (was a manufacturer problem) after trying several things, and they didnt even charge her! They will try and go the best route, with what to do, without charging and arm and a leg for every little thing, like other places do. We were fed up with other local mechanics doing unnecessary possible solutions and them not working. Then being charged to bring the vehicle back to them to fix the same problem we tried having fixed the first time!

DO NOT go there, they will rip you offI took my truck for an alignment after my friends and I replaced the right side hub bearing and tie rods and make sure ball joints an everything else were good.and these thieves want to charge me $600 dollars to replace the left side bearings, I took my truck to another place and got the alignment done with no problems at all... Everything on the truck was fine, and this thieves were trying to charge me $600 dollar for repairs

25 yr customer, I cant believe they are treating folks this way. I had a loose hose clamp that I just didnt want to mess with. Without even wiping off the grime they determined that an unrepairable seal was leaking and that I needed a new rack and pinion. Over $600.00. I took it home cleaned it off, replaced the hose clamp and low and behold a week later still no leak. Im very disappointed in those guys.

Honesty, quality, and reliable service. Ive had multiple vehicles repaired and serviced here, and they have always done the job right and in a timely fashion.

Not only were they the only ones who could tell me exactly what the problem was eith my truck but they also told me what parts Id need and that theyd install them for me. Both catalytic converters were going out + an O2 sensor was bad. Instead of most auto repair shops.. they told me the truth, saved me $ by1. Ordering my own parts2. Omitted an engine clean because after the converters were installed..the truck ran great and smooth (plus my spark plugs were already changed a week before.They are friendly and hard workers. Another example... they had removed the converters and installed the new ones + an O2 sensor in less than half a day. I highly recommend this place and Ive already been telling my family and friends about them.If you want to know exactly whats wrong with your vehicle, take it to them. Its rare to find a mechanic wholl install parts that you bring to them**Before anyone questions if this is an actual review from an actual customer...believe me when I tell you they are the BEST Ive been to waaay to many mechanics to count and Ive received the exact same answer... it could be this or that... im not into guessing games when it comes to forking over a few hundred. Buuuuut good news is (besides then being the best) I will be able to drive it for years to come (I have a LOW mileage 08 ranger)

I took my envoy to get a front end ailment. I was told buy loe that i needed work done total price parts and labor 2400$. I told him i had already had some work done to the front left side.and thats when you said i only checked the right side while i had it upon the jacks, so just dont worry about the left side if you all ready had work done on it. Long story short i bought the parts online and took it to a shop in Freeport tx payed 150$ labor 110$ parts online. And a front ailment 70s. Now thats a big difference from 2400$!!! So good luck if you people think so highly of advance auto.
