I scheduled with Ware appliance because I wanted to support a local small business. The repair man arrived on time. He asked what issues we were having. I explained what the issue was. He told me not to waste my money repairing it just buy a new washer. Told me all about the options they offer . He never looked at my washer. Never even walked into my laundry room. Stood in the entry way and charged me $80. For what!!! Never again. I will not buy from them nor will I ever call for service.

It was a pleasure to do business with Ware Appliance. They went above and beyond to answer all questions I had about my new appliances, and ensured I picked out exactly what was needed. The installation was a breeze. They were in and out in no time, even though they had to mount a new microwave. I would highly recommend them for any of your future appliance needs!

We purchased a built in microwave to replace our old one and my husband measured the space before we went and bought it. We did not know that door of the new microwave was larger and would not open when they went to install it. The guys who came tried really hard to get it in and were here longer than they were suppose to be at our house. My husband called to see if they had anyone they recommended to help fix the space and they said they did not. They said they would come back out and put it in, once we had the space fixed. When I called to schedule it, the owner told me we would be charged a 2nd install fee as they were here too long the 1st time. They were not very friendly and helpful and we will not be buying any other appliance from them any time soon.

When our 48 inch side by side broke we looked at the Ware Appliance website to see if they carried this type of refrigerator. We like to keep as much of our purchases local if possible. From the first trip into the store, to the installation, the customer service was top notch. These type of refrigerators are not as easy to transport and install, but the 4 men at our home worked hard and did a great job. Thank you Ware Appliance! We will be reminding friends and family that we have such a great store here in Ankeny and you dont need to shop at big box stores.

We found Ware appliance after waiting for a washer and dryer from an unnamed big box hardware store for over two months. Not only did they have the exact washer and dryer we were looking for in stock. But were able to deliver them and install them the next morning. Ware appliance is my go to appliance store in Ankeny.

The receptionist was very helpful. The owner however is just he opposite. I tried to get some warranty work done on a Whirlpool appliance. I did not purchase the appliance form Ware since I got everything as a package with a new kitchen. Got the appointment set up and I was informed on the day that I was to get the work done that they wouldnt be coming because warranty work didnt pay good enough. The canceled my service right there.Ended up getting Westside Appliance from Des Moines to come out and take care of it. Extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Had the issue resolved quickly. I am completely satisfied with Westside Appliance and the way they communicate and take care of the customer.Completely the opposite with Ware Appliance. Rude and not very helpful. Might be a different experience if you bought your appliance there. Can not recommend Ware at all. Go to Westside Appliance.Tim

Recently purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Ware Appliance in Ankeny and was installed on 7/8/19. The washer and dryer was installed by two guys who were quick and had everything installed within roughly one hour.I would recommend purchasing appliance from Ware Appliance instead of the big box stores.

Ordered apart for a dishwasher.a week later still hadnt heard anything, so I went in to find out what the status was on it.guy said I will call you in a 1/2 hour and let you know.2 hours later decided to go to West side and see if they can get it for me.guy said yep got 1 in stock.got it right then and it was also 10.00 cheaper than ware was.hopefully ware appliances doesnt treat all there customers like this.

Helpful family owned business with friendly staff

Our dryer shot craps after 13 years of service. I figured it was a gamble to just replace the dryer so I went in search of a new washer and dryer. Ware’s didn’t open until 9am that day so I went to a couple of big box stores. Home Depot was one of them. I found a pair that I had found online, liked what I saw and was prepared to talk with someone as to why I would want these units. Nobody in the appliance area to talk to. Found somebody in another area working and they asked via walkie talkie for someone to come to the appliance area. Not a soul showed up. After 10 minutes I looked at my watch and it was 5 minutes to 9. So I left and drive to Ware’s. I was greeted immediately and the person answered all of my questions and then some. The prices at Ware’s were competitive but were $144 higher for the pair. I didn’t even negotiate because it’s a local business, owned and operated by a local family. In 15 minutes I had a delivery scheduled for two days later. At noon that same day I received a call from them stating they had an opening for delivery in 15 minutes. What a surprise. They delivered, set up, instructed us on use, registered the warranties and hauled away the old appliances all for the same price. So in the long run they were the same price as the big box store by the time you factor in the delivery, setup, haul away etc. I will never look anywhere else ever again. Great company, great service, great product and price. Definitely 5 stars!
