I was just there this evening? I rode the buggy cart with my service pet. It was an uneventful trip but way quicker than Walmart. But at Hy-Vee you just cant spend two hours of screwing around. I do recommend you go try Hy-Vee. They also have fountain drinks.

I have always shopped at HyVee for groceries. Always clean and usually stocked with what you need.

I go here to turn in my cans. Its always clean. Theyre pretty good at keeping up with the filled bins. It can get busy, but I go in the evenings between 8 and 9.

Got someone elses candy. Didnt get one item at all and overcharged for an item. They asked me to return the candy!!! I know errors and issues happen, but to pay for my own gas and time to correct their issue doesnt sit well with me.

Smooth shopping. One hiccup @ self checkout.

I like the location, store, and staff. Staff are almost always friendly and knowledgeable. Food almost always in stock and store is clean. Wine & Spirits areas is bonus and usually well stocked except for Peach Crown Royal. Parking is horrific but will still strongly recommend this business to anyone who lives near it or on the North side of Ankeny.

I went to the Grimes Hyvee and it was amazing. It was the most stimulating experience ever as I have been there twice since it opened. So many different things I cant get at other HyVees. Worth the extra driving distance for a selection I cant get at other HyVees.

This hy vee has a great selection of items and pretty decent prices. I would recommend saving your coupons on the new app before getting to the hy vee, but if you use it, you do save some pretty good discounts. The new coupon app is a little hard to get used to.

I was able to pick up my lunch (3 meals in this one container). Bought stamps and filled a prescription and out the door. The place wasnt overly busy but the flow was consistent. Staff are all FRIENDLY! One of the gals went to hunt down a bag of Stergings because there wasnt any on the shelves. Then she found me in the store to let me know she found some! I felt important! Thank you Hy-VEE. Youre my one-stop-shop!

Was back from Ohio and stopped in to get meat from the meat counter, always great cuts of meat at Awesome prices!

Have called this hy vee every year the morning of my child’s birthday to have a cake made, called the night before this time and now it’s a new policy that you have to call days in advance in order to have a cake made. Not happy.

They sell fresh seafood, unlike the ones in Walmart. Everything is much more expensive than Walmarts but the quality is higher too. But you will find more stuff in Walmart.

I love the Bar and Grill. Jenna and Christy are amazing. You can go pick out a steak take it to the grill and have them cook it how you like. While you have a drink. Awesome people awesome atmosphere great place to relax and chill.

HyVee is a friendly Midwest grocery store chain. They typically have the freshest produce of anu grocery store, and the best selection. Their focus may not always be on the lowest prices, but they have a better selection and higher quality product than some cheaper stores. Theyre not overpriced, just maybe not the lowest. I find them to be a good value for quality and money. Staff is always friendly!

Hy-Vee is okay, if Publix grocery stores were here in Iowa I would go there. I say this because Hy-Vee has decent and friendly customer service but they do not enforce covid precautions strictly enough. We tend to go to Target for in-store shopping and use Hy-Vee for online ordering and pickup. This stores pharmacy is pretty good considering we have to special order our baby formula. There have been some order issues but they always get things worked out in the end.

Hy-Vee is Hy-Vee ... high prices and all. I do shop here anyway because its close to my home, and they have a much bigger grocery selection than Fareway or Aldi. I actually buy my meats at Fareway, and common items (soups, chips, coffee, tea, etc.), as these are all priced better than Hy-Vee. However, one other good point about Hy-Vee ... its open on Sunday - Fareway isnt.

Ordered online. None of the food matched. Only one item did they text and ask me if it was okay to switch since they were out. Everything else wasn’t even close to what I originally ordered. Not to mention the only fresh produce I ordered the genius picked one with mold on it lol. I suggest shopping yourself so some make a wish kid who flunked out of community college isn’t picking your orders.

Always really nice at this location and my order is always correct. They also have everything I order. Which I know isnt their fault, but it makes me happy that I dont have all substitution s on my grocery order! :)

Purchased chicken grillers. One was rotten and smelled awful. Took it back, told them they should check the others. They gave me a different kind since i didnt trust that batch. They didnt check anything. Just walked away. Very dangerous.

Its clean and easy to get around, they have bulk goods such as nuts and different types of flour. They have a vegan area as well. They have an in-store Starbucks and bakery and even a small clothing area. They also have a large selection of alcohol. They also have a lot of sales, my favorite is the meat sales $1 pork chops. Have fed a family of 3 for about $8 and Im talking meat, veggies and dinner rolls (their take and bake dinner rolls are amazing)

Employees are friendly and helpful. Quality products available for a good price. Any issues that arise are promptly and courteously taken care of.

This Hy-Vee location has some of the nicest employees ever. The customer service center are more than happy to go the extra mile.The made fresh sushi taste much better here. Than the other location in town. Also the deli counter are fully staffed. Makes getting something for the BBQ much easier.

A helpful smile in every aisle is not just a saying at Hy-vee its the way the people there are. This store is no different. One thing I have learned. Dont go to Hy-Vee when you are hungry. There are too many delicious things to count.

Best meat counter in the metro. I also like how it has the older Italian station so you can get pasta of the day. I miss that in the other stores. I’ve also been really happy with the Aisles Online team here, very friendly and helpful.

Staff are incredibly considerate and helpful. Their concern for their customers goes above and beyond just selling groceries. All the staff are wearing masks and they wipe off the entire conveyor belt at the cash register after each customer. Great place! Thank you, HyVee staff and management.

Very disappointing experience on 12/29/2020. The entire frozen food section looked like a precursor to WW III. Pizzas were picked over and nearly empty. There were no corn dogs to be found. Looked for pancake mix but the larger size of mix in the yellow plastic bottle that you add water to and shake was completely out of stock. Would think that by closing at midnight there would be plenty of time to stock shelves overnight. The store didnt even have any 2% A&E milk so I bought whole milk instead. Even the bakery was out of angel food cake. Felt like it was a waste of my time to stop. I was able to pick-up a few items I was after but was not able to scratch all off my shopping list. I do not have the time to keep going back again and again to find what I need. Yes, there was a snowstorm but why not transfer out of stock items between other stores in the area since there are so many? Got the feeling from the staff that it was a oh well situation simply because they had a rush the night before due to incoming weather. Fareway and Aldis are actually closer to my home. Will be visiting these two alternatives more frequently due to this very poor experience.

When I go the workers are very nice and actually seem genuine.
