What a great place to store! We were able to access our unit when it was convenient for us. The facility was secure and protected. We will definitely use the Ankeny location if we need storage space again. Thank you for treating us in such a special way.

The staff was awesome to work with. Loved the facilities. They have a great set up for any type of weather since you can drive into an enclosed area. They have a lot of carts that are great for moving everything from your vehicle to the unit and out again. Very secure location.

Very clean, reasonably priced storage. Loaded a unit and their clean, climate controlled setting will make getting my things out this winter much warmer and easier than an outdoor drive up unit.

Great place to store your stuff. Climate controlled units with a number of different sizes. An enclosed garage to load and unload. Not a big deal now, but wait until February when its snowing and the temp is below zero. It will be worth every penny.

Fantastic storage facility. Nice set up, you can unload and load your stuff inside a nice garage area and they provide the tools you need to move your stuff easily. This is an excellent storage place. The staff is friendly and the facility/units are very clean. Green Acres made the heavy duty chore of moving much more enjoyable with their drive in loading area, elevators, and the availability of carts to use when loading and unloading.

Excellent customer service which Ive found is a rare thing these days! Immaculate facilities, literally hospital clean every time I go in. The indoor loading/unloading area is a huge bonus and has saved the day a couple times already with rainy/cold moves. Feels super secure and love the temperature/humidity control. All types of carts and dollies for your use is another bonus. In all honesty, it will feel like you should be paying more for it! Cant go wrong here, highly highly recommend! Best storage around.

Great place to store your items in Ankeny! Reasonably priced, very clean, and best of all very friendly and helpful employees. I loved the fact that they have carts and ladders available for free. I also really liked the drive-in area so that you can move your items even if it is raining or cold. I could not be happier and definitely recommend to anyone looking for storage. No complaints at all. Perfect experience.

I can only say great things about my experience renting a storage unit from Green Acres. Kris and Colby, the two employees I interacted with the most, were kind, professional, and even fun just to talk to. Being able to unload inside is particularly great when the weather is not pleasant outside. They have several different types of carts available for use. The whole place is sparkling clean. I believe their rates were very reasonable for all you get. Top rate. The competition has a far way to go to catch up to this place. Do NOT go anywhere else to store your stuff.

The staff at Green Acres Storage have all been friendly and helpful! The facility is incredibly clean and secure. They have equipment on hand that makes moving items in and out of units quick and easy! Additionally, the enclosure you pull into for loading and unloading provides a dry, safe space to do so regardless of time or weather. Green Acres Storage in Ankeny is hands down, the best storage experience Ive ever had. The place is basically brand new. If its raining, you can pull your vehicle in to the huge garage to unload or load your stuff, so you dont have to worry about getting wet. From my understanding, all units are climate controlled, and your unit most likely will not smell like motor oil because cars are not allowed in the storage units! Each unit has very high walls, so you can stack your stuff pretty high. I got a great deal for basically half off the cost of a storage unit for three months, and I havent seen any spiders or other bugs! Very friendly staff, and a great place to store your stuff!

I represent the Ankeny Community Chorus and we store our performance attire at Green Acres in Ankeny. Clothing like this calls for safe, clean, and reasonable temperature control and Green Acres accommodates all. Their drive through with carts to move storage items is a touch of class that really sets them apart from other storage businesses.

I never write reviews about products or services. This is different. Green Acres is something you have to experience to believe. Super nice people to deal with and an incredible facility. No matter what the weather you can load and unload inside. Check out the pictures. Even if you don’t need a storage facility at this time it is worth the trip to take a tour.

There is NOT a better storage facility anywhere. Colby is unbelievably attentive to your needs and everyone at Green Acres treats you like you are their only customer. From renting a Penske truck to their spotless storage rooms you cant find anything comparable. Five stars only because that is the maximum you can give.

UPS Freight dropped off my fabric order in the middle of the street in front of my house. I panicked and called 5 places looking for a pallet jack. No one even answered my calls. On a whim I called Green Acres Storage and they told me they had a jack I could use free of charge. I immediately drove there and two men loaded it in my car for me and I was able get this mess out of the street. I was not expecting such helpful service from them when I wasnt even a paying customer. I will definitely be using them for any future needs that arise!

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The movers who initially moved us into our storage unit said Green Acres was the nicest storage facility they had ever seen. When my wife and I did move some of our belongings by ourselves, we liked that the loading/unloading area was enclosed and protected us from the elements. And the moving equipment that was on hand for customers to use made moving our items a breeze.

I went to see if they had any type of dolly to move my small electric piano across the street to a clubhouse and visited with Joe. He was so kind to show me what they used and how to use the dolly. This was a beautiful facility and Joe was very helpful.
