Gorgeous gardening, produce, imports, specialty groceries and little homemade dishes. I had such a good time looking through all of the awesome stuff here. The staff were really great too.

I enjoyed my visits while I stayed in A2. Good ready made foods and beverages. If you’re constantly traveling for work it’s great. I even bought a succulent which safely came all the way to FL with me. Hot guys at the register. No complaints.

My husband and I visit The Produce Station about every two weeks and always have a great experience. Last night we purchased artichokes but they didnt make it into the bag. Spoke with The Produce Station team today and they went above and beyond. In fact, the manager said, How can I make this right for you? Stellar service!

I really enjoy their prepared foods and the salads are awesome, but I only have 1 problem....when packing tge salads they only put 1 small cup of dressing and dont even fill it.

This place shocked me. Ive always seen it in passing. From the street, it looks waaaay smaller than what it actually is. I thought the little shop would just have your run-of-the-mill garden trinkets, and necessities....NO lol, theres a whole small market inside! I had to walk out, and walk back in to make sure I wasnt hallucinating😄😄😄. They have a great selection of craft beers in there; beers that I havent even seen in bigger shops around the area.

Excellent shopping atmosphere. The store is always stocked well and it relatively easy to find what youre looking for. The service service is great and friendly I highly recommend shopping there.

The produce, fruit and bakery items are always great at the Produce Station. They have many other categories of items, meat, salmon, cheeses and wine. I could easily do all my grocery shopping there, but it would be more expensive than a chain store. Flowers in the spring and summer are fantastic.

Love their cherry chicken salad, cold sesame noodles and the tiramisu is to die for. Such a cute place. Always nice to stop in and treat myself to all their amazing selections of cheeses, wines, food and so much more.

Went here and tried to use my food stamps, they told me they didn’t take them. The manager said, “we’ve been trying, just so much paperwork” uhhh. How many years, decades have you been in business? I would think they want to allow access to organic and local produce to those who can’t afford it. It’s not inclusive and a total cop out considering how many years you have been in business. I guess they just want rich housewives only. A lot of us are on food stamps due to the pandemic, we still deserve access to good produce in proximity to where we live.

Good small produce store, they have some pre-made dinners and sandwiches that are quite good.

Small grocery store with exceptional seasonal produce, garden and indoor plants, and a nice selection of high quality items. Currently closed due to the pandemic, the salad bar normally has wide variety of fresh and tasty items.

Im relatively new to the area and have heard great things about The Produce Station. When i heard about their Valentines day special, i thought it was a great opportunity to try and see if it met the high expectations I had. They exceeded them all! Every course was delicious and I wont ever hesitate to order or shop at the Produce Station.

Produce Station is the absolute BEST. I have never had a problem or issue with them, they are always on time with deliveries, and the food is honestly perfect. I work for U of M and anytime we need catering, Produce Station is the go to. They are really reliable and trustworthy. I honestly cant recommend them enough. 10/10 for service, quality and everything else.

I bought a bunch of plants here for decent prices-- the options are quite extensive. There were many plants where you could buy three sets of six plants for only $15 (or one of the sets for $7.99). When I went in to the store there was a beautiful loaf of challah for 6.99, so I just had to get it. The employees outside and inside were kind and helpful!

The quality of produce here is very high. They especially have some excellent apple varieties. Nothing is brown or small or otherwise less than top notch. On the other hand, the prices are correspondingly elevated. So be ready to spend a lot more than you would at the local grocery store.

Great selection of high quality produce. They have a lot of very good house made juices like lemonade, grapefruit, and orange along with good candy. Outside they have a greenhouse as well. Highly recommend this place. It is quite expensive but everything is very high quality so you get what you pay for.

The prices are a little steep, but the food is the highest quality in the area. In addition to, obviously, produce, they also carry a decent variety of prepared foods. In the summer, they have a grill station set up outside, with a periodically rotating menu. They dont have a lot in the way of meat, but what they do have is very good. The cheese selection is great too.

Great selection of produce as the name would imply, but they also carry very good cheese and specialty items as well as prepared meals. They carry Zingermans bread as well as some others and local coffee roasters products. They have a nice selection of Michigan beer, wine, and cider as well.

After reading the Google reviews I decided to use Produce Station to cater my moms 70th birthday party. That was one of the best decisions I made regarding the party. Billy was great to work with while I was planning the menu and the food was delicious. All the guests raved about the spinach orzo salad. Dolores, who was our waitress for the day, was amazing. She was so helpful and made the day stress-free for me. I highly recommend Produce Station for all your catering needs.

Wow what a great little store. Nicely curated selection of interesting non-alcoholic beverages, cheeses, local honeys and sauces... Not to mention an excellent variety of fresh herbs to plant in the garden. Who knew there were so many types of mint, basil and thyme! The herbs were reasonably priced (6 for $20) but, dear God(!!), I paid nearly 8 bucks for a kombucha + a nectarine. YIKES. Oh yeah and the produce is top-notch... but clearly, you pay for it.

Do yourself a favor and have Billy and his crew cater your event. We received more compliments about the food than pretty much anything else, and at half the quotes of other catering places. Service staff was friendly and experienced. From start to finish, Produce Station was professional, flexible, and communicative. Highly recommend, in general and beyond.

Really nice atmosphere, excellent food quality, and tremendous service. Plus, for most of the year there are a nice set of tables hidden around the front where you can kick back and enjoy some fresh air while you have your lunch. And the summer good cart has some pretty incredible food as well. Yeah, its a little pricey (not as bad as some places), but you end up satisfied with your purchase.

Gotta love the produce station. All around Id say its a good little stop. Especially if you want a sanwich, they used to have (might still have) this turkey, cheddar, and green apple sandwich with some kind of remarkable marmalade in it, which was to die for. Prices for bread (from Zingermans) is outrageous (in my humble opinion), so my advice would be to go there and just shop smart. They use fresh ingredients and have wholesome food.

First time going in and it was absolutely great. The produce was incredibly fresh and the store smelled of fresh bread. The workers were very nice. A little tight for space but I wont go anywhere else for my produce now.

I love this place for the unique selection of foods they sell and during warm weather, their plants and seedlings cant be beat! The salad/soup bar is outstanding! I could eat lunch here every day. They also have a small bakery area with Zingerman goods. This place is wonderful, but not cheap, bring plenty of $$$.

I dont get the draw... its a fairly small place, with nothing really unique to offer (imo)... yet somehow they manage to charge 3-4x as much as other stores and still stay busy... Dont get me wrong, its nice, clean, etc... but Ive never seen peaches for $8/lb before in my life. Who can afford to shop here? Not me, but obviously there is a market for seriously expensive produce. Its a smart business strategy, some people want to pay more simply because they can afford to.

Model grocery store. They have so many unique and locally sourced/made offerings, the service is impeccable (everyone is always smiling!), they will cater to large parties (even for events like Thanksgiving), and to top it off there are free samples galore! Go on a Saturday- every item turns into a free sample.

The Produce Station is my go-to for wine, cheese and unique seasonal items (think decorations, and food-related gifts). Our company also purchases lunch once a week for meetings. Great salad bar and to-go meals.

Rude, dramatic, and unhelpful staff. Went to buy a few succulents for a bouquet and the parking wasn’t very clear as there weren’t painted lines and I’m assuming part of it must be a one way that isn’t marked and so on. I ended up parking next to a pile of soil bags and left some space on the side facing it so people could get to it if need be but, still far enough over people could park on the other side. While I’m shopping a guy is walking around to all the other people there saying things that make me sound like the dumbest of dumb with descriptions that could only physically match me. I don’t understand how he was comfortable enough to call me names while I was within earshot but, not to simply ask me to park somewhere else. None of the other staff even payed attention when I’d ask a question to where things were located. Although the plants were great I can’t see myself ever going back.

Im so glad that Ann Arbor has Produce Station. Its a hybrid of so many wonderful things--the high-quality food you see at Whole Foods, the local stuff you see at Hillers, the salad bar you dream of, and bulk food of a mini By The Pound.Its not a cheap place, but its a fun and beautiful place. They have all sorts of exciting vegetables here. Sometimes Ill come by and see something Ive never seen--like in-the-pod garbanzo beans. Sometimes Ill come here and admire their sushi-grade fish, or Ill treat myself to a homemade granola bar. Their sweet potato burritos are insanely good. You can also get some stuff by the pound, and if theyve prepackaged more than you want, you can ask them for less.Zingermans baked goods, local ice cream, lots of cheese.Its just, again, not a cheap place.

Quite small inside. Over priced produce that is nothing special really. They are not very friendly inside. Go to Fresh Thyme if u want quality veggies and fruit! They are too stiff here.
