The friendest staff who seem like they love the chocolate sweets they create. They offer free samples. We left with more than what we anticipated. It is hard to turn down fresh chocolate candy, ice cream, carmel apples and fudge. Metered parking is on the street up to 2 hours max or garage or parking lot parking off Main Street for $20.00 on average. In comparison to other shops in the area, our opinion is that they have the most diverse selection. We gave up dessert at a local restaurant to purchase chocolate from Kilwins Chocolate & Ice Cream in Annapolis, MD. It was an awesome day trip.

Great place to be, .I visit this place twice a week but Im worried every single time I get out of there because some of the staff do not have masks on and talk over my order. We cant not reheat ice cream to kill the Covid-19 virus, let alone to kill the Delta variant. The staff should were mask. I have to throw my ice cream away because 2 staff members were talking over it along with 2 customers that the staff was helping. I ended up with 4 people talking over my order.

I got the key lime pie ice cream, and it was delicious! I have also had the sea salt caramel ice cream which is also delicious. The caramel and fudge you can try is amazing as well. The location is right in Annapolis, so you wont have to go far.

Absolutely phenomenal ice cream, worth the line. Get the old-fashioned vanilla. It is creamier in texture than the other flavors I tried, and it has such a rich taste. This is why vanilla became the standard ice cream.

Even with the other ice cream shops within the downtown Annapolis area, we always find ourselves getting ice cream AND sweets from here. It always smells so good when we walk by and the people who work there have always been friendly and helpful. Its not the most spectacular ice cream out there, but the overall experience here makes me rate it a 4 star. Weve tried a variety of sweets from here, too, and have enjoyed everything. A bit pricey, in my opinion, but not much more than other specialty shops downtown.

I thought this place is going to be great and have some nice local desserts, however, I was unpleasantly surprised at how Portland taste of the ice cream was. The flavors that they identified as Key Lime ice cream did not taste like Keylime at all it had a mint green look to it and tasted like pistachio. The service was good, but don’t advertise flavors that you’re fool doesn’t represent. I would not recommend anyone go to the ice cream place. Sorry!

Kilwins is one of the best ice cream shops in Annapolis. Their staff is always friendly and they have a great assortment of both ice cream and other chocolate desserts. Be aware that there are separate lines for the ice cream (to the left and back of the store) and the novelties (immediately on the right when you walk in).

Excellent ice cream. In my opinion much better than Annapolis Ice Cream. Fudge Brownie is my favorite flavor. Their fudge is sinful. Staff is always friendly. They have outside seating during good weather. Dogs are allowed in the outside seating area. Conveniently close to the dock area.

Buyers be warned, stopped by after closing time to admire the candy confections through the window and noticed multiple flies parading on the caramel apples. If youre good with that, more power to you.Please find a better way to protect the sweets. Until I see improvement I wont be back.

If heaven were a chocolate shop, Id say I found it. The goodies here are unbelievably good. I dont consider myself to be a huge chocolate fan at all, but the scents that come out of this store are just too alluring. The staff are friendly and polite. Im pretty sure the ice cream flavor I chose is illegal because that stuff is addictive!

The best place to get ice cream, candy, and fudge in Annapolis. The staff are very helpful and friendly and its fun to watch them paddle the fudge as it comes out of the copper kettle on the cold marble countertops. My preferred order of choice is the double fudge brownie ice cream served in a waffle cone, but they also have a selection of seasonal flavours.

We ordered 2-pc boxes of chocolates from Kilwins as favors for our December wedding! We picked two flavors, a his and hers which was really fun! Our chocolates were perfect! This place is a true confectioner. They have just about every sweet you can think of all made on site. Bring your sweet tooth! We always come for the ice cream. We always look for a Kilwins wherever we travel. They have a signature ice cream that changes name at every location. In this one, it is Kilwins Mud... and it is the best Ive cream I have ever had!

I love coming to downtown Annapolis and seeing the night life, and stopping by a chill ice cream place only makes the town that much better to go to! They have quirky clerks and have nice array of flavors and provide reat customer service! I personally get a chocolate peanut butter waffle cone and enjoy the night from there! I recommend coming here with friends so you have someone that can experience it too!

Taste ice cream

Theres a reason this place always has a line! Been coming here for about 3 years for simply put - the BEST ice cream in Annapolis. The ice cream flavors are plentiful and the consistency is rich and creamy. They make everything in house (fudge, candies, ice cream) and you can witness them creating it all as soon as you walk in. Great for gifts if your friends/family have a sweet tooth. A little pricey, but its worth it and Ive never been let down!

It was pretty busy when we went but staff was super friendly. The ice cream itself is pretty good not great and the flavors arent always the mix id like to see. Otherwise everything from their ice cream to fudge or candy is great. Worth stopping in after dinner nearby.

First time trying Kilwins ice cream and it was freaking amazing. The ice cream is super creamy and smooth. Its very cold to the touch but the moment it hits your mouth, it melts and coats your entire mouth with cream, cookie crumbs, chocolate bits, caramel swirls and more (I had 2 flavors in one cup). I ordered the chocolate brownie and salted caramel, both were so amazing. I came with my girlfriend after a full dinner and we still shoveled down 2 scoops. The scoops are softballs, so save some room. You cant go wrong with any flavor here, stop by the next second you can. You need to try some Kilwins but maybe after a workout.

Great Candy apples

The ice cream is great. Lots of various different types of candy to buy as well. The place gets a bit packed and crowded where you get the ice cream but its worth the wait.

In addition to some of the best ice cream you will have, this treat shop has home made confections that will make you want to sit outside their parlor and try everything they offer. Located on a very scenic old town Annapolis road, Kilwins is a great place to beat the heat while you people watch tourist, locals, and do not forget the Navy school students.

Didnt plan on going here, kind of walked past and just stopped in. Had only gotten an iced coffee, but my girlfriend had gotten vanilla ice cream in a cone and bought fudge for my mom. Both were very pleased. The service was quick, store was busy but I was still helped within minutes of walking in. Girls behind the counter were very polite, knowledgeable and served us with a smile. All around great place.

Definitely stop by for some Kilwins Mud if you have a chance (and its warm out). The staff is quick to get you through the line, and its worth the short wait to get their ice cream. Its delicious. Just remember to grab some water at the register because itll parch you.

Only taking off a star because the day wasnt all that warm (60s, rainy, a bit of a chill) and yet, the ice cream was really soft upon serving and thusly, melted much faster than expected. The ice cream inside the waffle cone had a heavy drip. Felt rushed while eating it because melted ice cream was getting everywhere.

Great place for sweet treats. Their turtle cheesecake and butter pecan ice-creams were soft and delicious, and of course you cant miss out on the fudge.(Bonus star for samples)
