I was having an issue with my car recently. I thought a tire needed to be replaced. When Discount tire found out my husband was away with the military and I had NO knowledge about cars, they tried telling me I needed 4 new tires (I just purchased brand new tires within the last year). I left and drove to Heartland/Goodyear in Ramsey. They found I didnt need ANY new tires. Instead, my rear wheel was loose and the lug nuts needed to be tightened. They charged me nothing for the service, and asked me to return the next day so they could make sure it was still safe to drive. I am so thankful for their help and honesty! We will absolutely be using them for all of our maintenance needs in the future.

CROOKS!! We brought our car in as it was having some issues starting; no running issues or warning lights just sometimes wouldn’t start fully without a jump and had recently replaced battery, thought maybe alternator or starter. Diagnostics came back fine for that and fuel pump but thought we needed a timing chain. I asked Adam if he thought the vehicle was worth that kind of repair- he told me the car is a solid make and model and should be worth it. I okayed the repair. The following day Adam called and said we might need an engine too. I told him we didn’t have enough for that on top of timing chain and discussed options for stopping work or continue with timing chain. He said the vehicle should still be good up to 100,000 miles. I specifically said my daughter uses it and it won’t strand her in a month? He said no it should run okay for a good while, just needed us to know an engine will be down the road. We continued on with timing chain. Picked up the car after 4 days and $2000, drove home less than 5 miles. Went to drive after 2 hours and had SAME problem as before the repair!!! Called Adam and was basically told tough break. We never would have repaired it or certainly stopped after engine suggestions IF he would not have ensured it would run for quite some time, up to 100, 000 miles. No way would I have paid this kind of money if told it would be a gamble to drive 5 miles!!! It didn’t make another trip. HUSTLERS !!! RUN.

Tire was losing air and I brought it into Heartland to check it out. They gave me a loaner car and was able to fit me into their busy schedule. Wheel had a crack, they were unable to get my wheel locally but tried. I came back 2 weeks later to get my wheel replaced and they were able to take care of the work quickly. Affordable and I spent way less than I had originally planned.

Truck left us stranded, Called Heartland Ramsey, who recommended a tow truck, offered great service very professional, prompt and great value . Thanks for getting us back on the road .

I just had my brakes and rotors done on my Ram. I stopped in to see why they were pulsing, and they were able to get everything replaced same day after finding they were warped! The pricing was fair and the employees were friendly and helpful. The waiting room is also comfy and has a separate quite space if you need to get work done. And if you have places to be or errands to run, they have free loaner cars!

They charged me $170 because that was the estimated time on a tie rod replacement. They spent 5 minutes tightening up my current tie rod that they said was falling off and still decided they should should charge me the quoted $170. I have proof they called me at 2:00pm and said it was still in the parking lot and the alignment was not even started yet. They called me again at 2:35pm saying the tie rod was fixed and the alignment was done. $300 for 30 minutes of “work”. Worst shop I have ever been too.

Took truck in for a engine light on and hesitation charge me for 2 1/2 hours of diagnostic and all they could find is 1 ignition coil bad said everything ran perfectly but by the time i drove 10 miles it was back to running rough, and sputtering with engine light back on. And now my parking lights wont shut off. Cost me 410.00 not its worst than i brought it in. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone ..

The service at Hearthland Tire is phenomenal. Both Andy and Mark, as well as their technicians, provide service above and beyond other automotive shops I have hired. We recently purchased a camper and contacted Heartland Tire to replace the tires. They contacted the RV park and made arrangements to have the camper delivered to their shop, replaced the tires, and had everything ready before we even picked up the camper. We also had trouble with our vehicle and contacted Heartland Tire. Once again their service was outstanding. We would definitely recommend their team for all your automotive needs.

I first started with heartland tire 2 years ago. I had just moved to the cities and was looking for a reasonably priced and reliable mechanic. Here we are two years later and I am still doing business there. My dad even takes his car there too. Eric and his team are AMAZING! Not a great experience. Brought it in for a grinding noise. First I was told it was because it was low on oil, so it mustve been the valves. $20 later, and nope, still grinding. Brought it back, and then I was told that it was because the spare tire apparatus was bent and it mustve been rubbing on the exhaust. $60 bucks later and still grinding, but now my spare is in the back seat b/c I opted not to drop $300 on the quote to replace that part. Even better, when I get in the van to leave, I see I still have the same mileage till empty on my display. They never even drove it around to diagnose the problem! Seems like someone doesnt want to put in the time or effort to actually fix issues and help customers, just push as many cars as possible through the bays. Theres better options out there....

Did a Great job doing a front end alignment on my classic 55 chevy! Price was affordable! Andy the service manager did a great job making sure it was done in the time frame I needed it done by! Good customer sevice.

This establishment is overpriced. The last two times I went there for repairs, they quoted me almost double of nearby competitors. Very disappointing. The first time, they came back with a price match. The second time they didnt. I would appreciate a fair quote without having to shop around. I will not be back.

Have had my vehicles here several times recently, they are always quick to get my vehicles in and let me know what repairs are needed and what the cost will be. I also know if something isnt right they are willing to make sure it is.

If I could give you 10 stars, I would. We were traveling through on Highway 10 last Friday morning on our way home from the twin cities when we needed help, and just when we needed it we could see the lights were on at your store just before 7am.We are so grateful for the service that we received. Andy went above and beyond to welcome in all five of us travelers to your clean & comfortable waiting area while he de-iced the undercarriage of our car. We suspected ice & snow build-up from the previous days snowstorm was the cause of our issue, but it proved to be difficult to discern this for sure. Andy didnt give up until he ruled out every possible cause, test-driving the vehicle himself twice before he would send us safely on our way.Andy is the kind of person every business would wish to have on their team; he has exemplary customer service skills and is a kind and friendly person who showed genuine concern for us.Thank you, Andy for your above & beyond service and your caring attitude. It made a difference to me and my family on a stressful day. If we lived near Anoka I would absolutely trust all of our vehicle care to Heartland Tire based on our experience.

Wont be going back! Took my car in for a simple front toe alignment, dropped off mid day (without an appointment) and they said they would slip it by the end of the day but werent able to get to it (not a big deal, I didnt have an appointment so its understandable) I had a spare car so told them to keep it over night and they said they would get to it in the morning. Around mid day I got a call (from a personal cell phone?) saying it was ready, so I picked it up, they gave me a small discount for taking longer than expected, great, all is good. I get 200 yards from the shop and can tell the car is pulling really bad to the left, so I turned around and brought it back. They said they would look into it and give me a call. 3 or 4 hours later I get a call saying they confirmed it was pulling, said they rechecked everything and all was good and said there is nothing they can do to get it any better without authorizing more money to have them try to shift the sub frame to attept to get rid of the pull. I know for a fact thats B.S. I was a auto mechanic for 14 years and another 4 years worth of college with an associates degree in GM auto mechanics, 5 of those years I was the lead tech, and 8 of those years I was the main alignment guy at the shop. Also was assistant manger for 2 years while still a tech. So in short I know alignments very well. After arguing with 2 different people for 25 mins (again from a personal phone number), I asked them to make a specific adjustment based off the printout they gave me of my supposed alignment angles and they said most of thier techs had gone home for the day and they wouldnt be able to get it done. (The shop was still open for another 2+ hours) So I picked the car up and drove to the small engine shop Im currently working at to check the car over myself. After crawling under the car I noticed they melted the threads off of my left inner tie rod with a torch and still never got the jam nut loose, meaning they never adjusted that side! Any mechanic who has basic traing with a torch knows you never heat the threads/bolt, you always heat the nut, its basic expansion/contraction. If you heat the bolt inner tie rod your swelling the threads harder inside the jam nut and it will never come loose. Also while under my car I noticed they had lifted the car at some point and they lifted from the rusty pinch welds and punched 2 6 inch holes through the bottom of my car! In MN its common to have rusted pinch welds and techs are supposed to look for an alterative spot to lift from(which my car had 2 other great options). I then eye balled my front wheels with my steering wheel straight and could easily tell my alignment was WAY off on the left side. So 80 bucks got me a car that pulls, a damaged tierod, 2 big holes in my floor, and still ended up eyeballing my alignment myself anyways(and after my adjustment the car is night and day better). I was trying to avoid doing my own eye ball alignment and just wanted it done right since I no longer have access to an alignment machine. Be warned!

I will NEVER recommend or be a patron of this establishment again unless Don Maple takes over again. A year ago I brought in my own bulbs ($70 in headlight bulbs still in the package) to have replaced. I was charged for an hour and a half shop time, no biggie. The problems started when I got my vehicle back. They replaced ONE bulb, and not even the burnt out one. Went back, they replaced the burnt out one supposedly with the other bulb I brought in that was still on the guys tool bench the next day... nope, they put in a white bulb. Brought it in a 3rd time because it was clearly not the same bulb and was told they would fix it... all they did was switched the blue bulb I brought in and the white one they had so the drivers side had the blue, thinking I wouldnt notice. I went back again and they said they were the same bulbs (even though one was blue and the other yellow) and said it was my headlight cover and they couldnt do anything else... my vehicle is still fairly new to have condensation/discoloration.Fast forward and here I am putting in new bulbs yet again, a year later, because of fingerprints on the bulb... and you guessed it, two different bulbs! They replaced one of the $35 bulbs I brought in with a $2 bulb they had. If you made a mistake, own up to it and make it right!I will NEVER trust this place again. Especially when Hawk, a fellow Military personnel, could do this to anyone, especially a fellow Military family.

First time here and I’m sold. Tim was super friendly and helpful with questions. No pressure or upsell of unneeded items. They will store your summer/winter tires!! I normally go to morries for free oil changes with their buy happy program but you need far advance appts and wait forever!!! They had me in next morning and took half hour.

I finally have to say No to this place. Over the last few years I have had my wife bring our cars here for oil changes. Several times I have had to wipe oil off my garage floor because someone obviously spilt oil and didnt care to clean it up.Two times now after tire rotations the brakes make noise. The first time I brought it back and the noise was a dust shield that they bent while changing tires. They fixed it like they should have. Again my wife brought the my truck in for a tire rotation and oil change with NO break noise what so ever . I get the truck back and the breaks are obviously squeaking. My wife brought the truck back in and the guy says that he cant hear it. Sheesh so I bring it back in again and this time he hears the squeak. I am told that I have a that I should just drive it.The brakes squeak like a bus and the didnt make sound before I brought it in. I am not asking for handouts just to fix the problem you obviously created.To top it off the smug guy who jockeys the phone laughed at the situation.I can overlook some sloppiness with the oil changes but I feel like a disrespected customer who now has to bring his truck somewhere else to fix whatever it is you did.

Terrible experience, went in for a wheel bearing replacement and they ended up over pressing the bearing through the hub, and caused another wheel bearing failure which toasted the pad and rotor, and with the hub and caliper. Didnt compensate me whatsoever, wont ever be returning.

I trust them 100% to take care of my car, keep me in the loop, and ensure Im not paying too much.

I rarely right reviews, but this experience was the worst Ive had. Just moved into the neighborhood and thought I would give this shop a try. I replaced struts all around on my 03 buick century. I Had a bolt break that holds the brake line bracket on two of the four struts and didnt have all my tools at the new house yet so sadly I was unable to do it myself. Kind of embarrassing. Anyways, When I brought it here for an alignment, I asked if they could drill it out and bolt it on for me. He put a self tap bolt in one (which I would have done) but not even in the original hole AND ZIP TIED THE OTHER ONE.....why he didnt just put a bolt in both of them I do not know. I asked and his response was Im not sure I got a little upset, made some comments about the crappy job and he fires back and says well we didnt charge you for it only for the alignment really, thats your reasoning for doing a job like that?? is not charging me for it?? I said, so you just couldnt find another bolt, or the right bolt, or the hole the bolt is suppose to go in? he says no we have all kinds of bolt, we order everything from fasner I just sat there speechless feeling like I was arguing with a wall. Never again.... Alignment felt okay, but I guess Ill find out when I bring it to my shop guy that I trust. Its a little bit of a drive to my buddies shop so I thought I would give these guys a try since theyre right up the road. Big mistake

If my experience is any testament to how they treat their paying customers, Ill always bring my business here.I had a broken piece between two hoses that was snapped and leaking out all my coolant, overheating my engine. I explained the problem to their manager, he went back in the shop and came back in a minute with the piece I needed - used but free of charge.Ill be bringing my business here when I need work done.
