I had a great experience all around at AutoZone in Apex. They came to my rescue when my battery suddenly died and installed a new one and got me up and running very quickly. Steve, Noah and Joey really went all out and answered my questions and were very knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend them!

Lights came on on my dash on my Honda pilot as I was driving from Illinois to North Carolina. I stopped over here at the AutoZone to see if it could be fixed or what it needed. Anionette was able to plug-in and find out what the codes were on my car. Ivan interpreted what was on the report that was printed out for me and said that I was still OK to drive that shouldn’t be a problem and I could go back to Illinois and then talk to my mechanic there. This was all done for free. Being so many states away from my own hometown and mechanic this was a great asset. I would recommend this AutoZone to anyone in need the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I am so grateful to be living so close to an AutoZone, too many past experiences with car mishaps (today being one of them). My car barely started after I ran out during lunch today, and when I got it to start, I drove right over instead of going straight home. They tested my battery, Alternator & Starter and as I expected it ended up being the battery(thankfully).Eric S. was the one who helped me and advised that I had a warranty on my battery, I didnt even remember it had a warranty! Anyone could have easily taken advantage of the situation and said my warranty was up to make a sale but he was honest and really helpful; his actions say a lot about his character. Not only was he professional, but he was also very sweet and went above and beyond as far as Im concerned with customer service.I would/will recommend this AutoZone to anyone for great service! I also want to mention and regret not getting the name of the other guy that helped Eric change my battery. They were both great and I appreciate their speedy assistance. I wish every customer service experience was as pleasant as the one I had today.

If he’s working, ask for Erick. He’s super helpful and knowledgeable. I went in with a question about my oil levels and he took the time to check out my other fluids and noticed some other things that needed attention - but he charged me nothing! He just advised me on what to share with my regular repair shop so I would get the best quality service product at the right price. Amazing customer service. Well done!

Went here to get a car battery tested and it was definitely dead and beyond jumping (since I tried about three times). Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to remove and terminal connector from the old battery when I bought the new one. 100% will be coming back to only Auto Zone for any auto parts needs, it’s sincere customer service that goes such a long way with where I will make my purchases and keep my future loyalty, I wish every Auto Zone operated like this one does. You have some outstanding employees that you need to ensure you keep, they by far, are the most professional auto parts store employees I’ve dealt with.
My neighborhood store always helpful
Ordered an axle for one of my customers cars on Saturday and was told it would be delivered the next day by 1:00. I called at 2:30 and was told no truck has arrived and they’re too busy to follow up and to call back tomorrow. I ended up going to a competitor of theirs and received great service and the correct part. I will never go to this store again for my business.

8/22/21: I purchased a Duralast Gold battery with a three year warranty from Auto Zone. The battery died after less than 2 years after the purchase. Of course it was the most inconvenient time ever because everyone I knew was tied up with other projects and I was stuck in a parking lot with my child at a Walmart. I tried a couple of things to resolve the problem, which failed. I purchased a replacement battery and planned to return the dead battery as it had a warranty.I arrived at the Apex AutoZone and explained the issue to the CSR behind the desk. He looked it up on their system, with much difficulty. When he finally located the battery purchase he could not tell the difference between the regular Duralast and the Duralast Gold. His teammate helped him to locate the battery purchase and the type. Kudos on team work! They then could not figure out what to do with the situation, as I had already purchased another battery in my stranded circumstances. They thought maybe a core return, but I informed them it was not a core return but a return of the battery. When it came up as $22, I told them politely, no thank you. I had already purchased a battery because I was stuck in the Walmart parking lot, so I simply wanted my refund for the battery. At this point he didnt know what else to do. He called the assistant manager over who also didnt really know what to do. She looked just as confused as the two CSRs. So they attempted to call the store manager, who did not answer. Instead of trying to figure it out, they asked me to come back tomorrow to speak to the store manager. Then they recalled that another manager would be in at 3 pm today and asked me to return then.I am now inconvenienced yet again (after being stuck in the parking lot & having to return again), and will have to return to their store at a later date to return a battery that did not meet the QA/QC standards. While the young cashier/customer svc rep did offer the core return amout, neither he nor the assistant manager resolved the issue. This is poor knowledge of the business processes and I would recommend training for both customer svc rep and assistant manager.Performance Review: Team work yay! Good working together to find the purchase in the computer system. Knowledge of store processes, base knowledge about returns, and problem solving skills need improvement. Assistant manager needs to work on initiative and problem solving skills. All team members and asst mgr were polite and friendly and ultimately did not resolve the needed transaction.I expect resolution of this issue. It is my expectation that AutoZone would attempt to compensate (in some way shape or form) for the incredible inconvenience, time, and money. I also expect a full refund of the money for the battery.4 stars in May of 2021:Erick was helpful and they had what I needed.
Walked in this morning to the Apex location and was greeted by Caity. I asked her about my windshield wipers and why they were making the sounds they were. She replied that they may be dirty and went out to my car and wiped them down with a big smile on her face. This quieted them down a lot but not complerely so I went back in and bought some new blades and Ed installed them in two seconds. This place has amazing customer service!!! Good job guys!!

Noticed I had a brake light out and stopped over to this autozone before I went to work, Erick S was able to get me the bulbs I needed $10 for 2 new ones and installed them for me too free of charge. Super quick and friendly staff. 3 different people asked if I needed assistance while I was waiting to purchase the bulbs.

Battery died in Apex so we walked the couple of blocks to the luckily nearby AutoZone to get some jumper cables. However, due to stay-at-home COVID stuff there was really no one around to jump our car, whether we had jumper cables or not. All the staff were very helpful and friendly while we were looking for the cables. And thankfully, Patrick, who was helping us directly, offered to drive to our car and give us a jump ON HIS BREAK. Very nice, thank you very much.
Excellent service. I purchased a battery from Autozone in Apex and the manager personally installed it for me. Since my old battery was pretty corrosive, the manager thoroughly cleaned out the old corrosion and installed the new battery. I will be going to this Autozone again.

Patrick was absoluteky over the top… this store knows what true customer service is about. I am in the service industry and I would be ecstatic if all of my employees acted just like this. I needed to get a headlight for my son’s car and I had no idea what I was doing because I’m a single mom and I don’t really know about cars. He was resourceful and so courteous. He had to take front parts off of the car to make it work... And even kept at it when it started raining! I am so glad I googled this address when I had typed in auto parts. You must come to the store for what you need...You will not be disappointed!

I find this store very useful. It has staff that doesnt hesitate to assist you with any questions you might have. They also take used oil and filters for proper disposal. They have euro-spec oils in stock and also some hard to find fasteners and piping/ducting.
Great customer service. Knowledgeable. Store was setup excellently for 6 foot separation of customer and employee. They also had a remote monitor setup so you could see what the clerk had pulled up on the screen. Nice job!
The AutoZone in Apex is awesome. My daughter had a part for her car for a year that was the wrong part. I brought it back to exchange for the right one and I couldnt believe they took it back and gave me a full refund. I highly recommend this AutoZone. The staff are fantastic and helpful. Please patronize this location.Had to go back because of another car of mine had a problem. I spoke with Franklin. He was so nice and extremely helpful. He looked at my car and found the problem. He went inside to get some tools and fixed the problem. You just cant get this kind of service anywhere. Autozone in Apex is the bomb. I highly recommend again this Autozone. Thank you Franklin.
Could be a timing issue but I walked in and no one was to be found. I stood there for a few minutes alone. Someone else came in after that and were seen to first. I was the forth customer seen to. Wondering if I was supposed to be loud and annoying or something to get service in a reasonable amount of time.
They charged my battery then tested it. Good service.

The employees and manager working tonight were amazing. My year old battery had died, and I got a jump and went directly to the Apex location. They tested the battery (it was so dead it was a barely animated zombie) they showed me the problem (a different site did a sloppy install and cracked the case so the scud leaked on the old one) and since it was under warranty, they replaced it with no charge and no fuss! Very friendly people and even though Im not mechanically minded, they were kind and gave me great peace of mind!

Needed a rear window wiper blade (while raining of course). The old wiper blade was very difficult to remove but several workers kept at it until they got it. Really appreciate their extra effort!

Ive recently moved to Apex and this is the friendliest Auto Zone. The one in the town I moved from not so nice but Keith and the other guys here are so helpful. Poor customer service. Three techs walking around too busy to say hi or acknowledge a customer. I get it. So I wait in line at the register to check out and the same three techs walk past with no acknowledgement again. So I left my items on the counter and took my business elsewhere.

I stopped one day for a battery and alternator test, as my vehicle was having issues not starting and I needed to gain some answers as to whats wrong. The gut who tested it said battery was good, alternator was bad. One week later, and an alternator purchased and returned, the problem was actually the corroded posts on my battery needed cleaning, and my alternator was fine 😐 not surprised, Ive had a bad experience at every AutoZone Ive visited in the past 3 years in various locations...so I refuse to visit one ever again!
Really good customer service here. Stopped in at this location because I was having trouble starting my car. Jonathan tested the battery and determined that it was bad. So I bought a new one, and he was more than happy to install the new battery free of charge.The next day, I was having trouble starting the car again only to find out that the battery connector was beginning to corrode. I went to the same location and Keith was very helpful in changing out the connector. I just bought the part and he installed it. The job required some effort, as you are required to cut out the old connector and install the new one. So I am very pleased with the customer service here. Jonathan and Keith were a great help.
