Lovely store with many local food products. Much more inside than appears in window. Offer a myriad of spices, sauces and various mixes for sweet and savory applications. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free samples to try in single serve packs for free. Highly recommend and get the T shirt.

A true gem! Its like local-ception. A local shop that carefully curates unique and tasty locally sourced amazing food options. Local supporting local. We love it! Great selection, quality and service. Grab a snack, put together a basket for out of town guests, or get dinner on the way home. The staff is just as amazing. They know just about every ingredient in every product and can recommend pairings or items to steer clear of if you have food sensitivities. Want a brand story to go with your goodies? They know the stories too! Wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Very limited product lines. All NC based per their account. I didnt see anything I was interested in and prices were steeper than I was willing to pay. But nothing against that as long as you know going in.

A must visit when you’re in downtown Apex. Elk has products from all over NC. They have a selection of spices, baking mixes, nut butters, sauces, meats, produce, and drinks. They also have some local products that would make great gifts. The owner is very nice and welcoming. She knows where every product in her store came from!

Is this store some kind of joke? We are big on eating locally and organically, but the owner of this shop has nothing on her shelves. The store looks empty! Its not a grocery store. Its a store with empty shelves and empty spaces. I know downtown Apex can do better. I don’t see this place being in business for too long.

I love going to Elk local foods. Lora is very knowledgeable about what she carries in her store. The products that is carries is local and very fresh. I highly recommend shopping here.

This shop has become my favorite stop in downtown Apex. Currently a little sparse in selection but they are adding more and more local products every time we go there. I’m excited to see what they will carry soon.

Nice selection of truly local food. We got a wide variety of breakfast items, snacks, and vodka sauce. Im looking forward to the jalapeno kettle chips! Very friendly too. Well be back for sure!
