Tim was quick to respond to my questions about bike repair. I dropped off two different bikes over two different days. The first bike needed a complete brake job. Tims pricing was fair and the job was completed in 24 hours. The second bike needed a basic tune up and was finished the same day I dropped it off, not to mention it was a holiday when Tim easily could have taken the day off. Affordable bike repair never closes, making it super convenient to drop off and pick up your bike. I have brought bikes to other local shops and the turn around time was a good week. I will definitely continue to use affordable bike repair for my biking needs and highly recommend to others.

Been going to Tim for about 3 years now. We have 4 kids under 8 so we break bikes a lot. Discovered Tim by accident on google and felt weird dropping off the first time but really it’s a great system. Tim and his crew are very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. Several times they’ve fixed something minor right sway without charging me. Their prices seem fair and straightforward. It’s never taken more than a day for a bike to be ready for us which is great for the kids. I didn’t even meet them the first year I was going to them but since I have met them now they are friendly and helpful. It may seem different at first being in a residential area but once you figure it out you know your bike is In the best hands. I think this is my first google review ever is how impressed I am by them!

We have been going to Affordable Bike Repair for a few years now. Our bikes have been tuned up, fixed, we have changed seats and wheels for us and our two kids. Affordable Bike Repair is a hidden gem in Appleton. Tim is wonderful to work with, he is straight forward, honest, and very knowledgeable about bikes. Dropped off my bike to replace the rear tire. Tim had it done in less than 24 hours. Service was fast and professional at a fair price. Had it in for repair last spring, he went through the whole bike and got it working like a top. Even though my cousin has a bike repair business in his garage across town, Ill keep coming back to Tim because he is closer and I know the kind of work he does is excellent.

Dropped off my bike on a Saturday got a text back by noon on Sunday that my bike was all tuned up and my gears were fixed. All for a fair price. I strongly recommend bringing your bike here. The staff is friendly the prices are great and the service is fast!

I recently moved to the area and my bikes back tire didnt survive the move. I took it it and Tim was very friendly and professional as he went over my options and explained how his shop operates. My tire and tube were swapped and my bike had a full tune-up, all in one day!I definitely will be coming back for all of my tune-ups and repairs in the future.

We recently dropped off a second bike at ABR to be tuned up. (Perhaps resurrected would be a better word!) Both were rather old and uncared for. Tim was great! I came in a couple of years agoin search of an accessory to help relieve tension on the tendinitis in my forearms. I recently brought my grandsons bike in for repair. we had the bike for six months .A new bike that never worked right from the start. Tim had to find new parts for it because most of the parts on it are after market parts and the bike was not set up right to begin with.He found the right part and went over the bike completely. Tim does a great job and has a system for drop off and pick up that is convenient and safe. I have had my own bike fixed and my daughters bike fixed. Tim was great - he was able to have my daughters bike fixed in less then a day. The bike would not shift correctly, he did a full tune up and adjusted the shifters. The cost was average to other shops in the area, but his turn around speed was awesome! Other places were 7-10 days out.

I took my bike in to Tim on March 22 for a spring tune up. I walked into the shop and saw a lot of bikes with repair tags. Tim responded to my questions fully before I dropped off my bikes. He called before doing further repairs that were necessary and pick up/ payment was super easy and on my timeframe. He got my bikes completed in less than two days. His prices were much less than I’ve paid prior. When I need tune ups or something more complex, I will use Affordable Bike Repair again.

Found a bike on Facebook market for our son. Messaged Tim and he replied the same hour. We were even able to go pick up the bike the same evening. The repair and tune-up was done incredibly quick. Im talking same day I dropped it off. I felt Tim was very honest about what was wrong, what needed to be done, and what to do in the future regarding maintenance. I had not used my bike in about 5 years while I previously lived in Milwaukee. After moving to Appleton I wanted to begin biking again. I contacted Tim via text on a Sunday and let him know that I fully expected that the bike would need the full treatment (bleeding brakes, tubes, tires, etc) and he said that I could drop it off that day and he would take a look. He reached out to me later in the day and told me that overall almost all things that I had mentioned were actually in good working order and that my bike just need a tune up and a bit of TLC. He texted me on Monday morning letting me know that he had finished it and my total. I picked up the bike after work that day and rode it home about 2 miles. My bike hadn’t felt that smooth in years. Great communication, great work, great turn around time and great price! I will be back each time I need any work on my bike.

This guy is really incredible and reasonable. My son had a flat tire and needed the bike fast. He replaced it in like 5 minutes. He suggested a tire replacement because the tire had less than 20% left. That too was fast and reasonable! Really excellent place compared to all the big box store

If you need your bicycle repaired, this is the place to go.You can go any time you want, for both dropping off and picking up. To drop your bike off, fill out the receipt ticket, and keep the bottom stub that has a number. You are welcome to lock your bike with one of his provided locks, where you can take the key with you. As far as picking up your bike, you can get it at any time as well, unlock it (if needed - there are 8 security cameras), drop your payment in the box, take the bike. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Tim. He is a volunteer fire fighter as well.Previous review follows:Much respect to you. Couldnt be happier! Brought 5 bikes in on Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend. Got a call Sunday afternoon that they were ready. Our bikes ranged from a cheap Walmart bike to a Trek... all came back riding better than they ever had for a very reasonable cost. I had my bike sitting in various garages for 10 years as I moved around and it went unused. I took it to get tuned up and was extremely impressed with their service. While doing the tune-up they noticed an issue with my bike and let me know. Not only were they able to repair it, but they did it inexpensively. I had forgotten about the issues I had been having with the bike pretty much since I got the bike over 20 years ago with the chain and changing gears. Ive taken it to many repair shops over the years for tune-ups and none ever mentioned or noticed the part that needed the repairs...these guys did. Now I no longer have any issues and my bike is like new again. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning for all my future repairs and tune-ups!

Oh my gosh! I am visiting Appleton for the summer, and I bought a bike unseen. The gears were a mess! It was fixed and like new in 4 hours. Im SO impressed!!! Immaculately kept!
