Absolutely aweful. Paid to have a subfloor put in with vinyl flooring on top: bumps everywhere, stripes coming unglued with in a day, didnt completely glue sections. And when we called in to complain about it we just got the run around. Terrible service and product.

I will never go to Dalton Carpet ever again. Expect to get a low quality install with damage to your home and have all seams visible. The install was rushed, a mess was left, and my home was damaged in the process. We spent $7,000 on the carpet and install and it is the worst carpet install I have ever seen. I was told the poor quality install was my fault, as I had ample time to research an installer, even though I used the guy they recommended! If you value your time, money, and home, go anywhere else. With our first baby on the way, I do not need this added stress in my life.Original: My wife and I are buying our first home and the carpet needs to be replaced. Nick was great to work with, and was able to fit us in on our tight schedule. We stopped in just to get a quote and ended up buying the carpet on the spot! Nick was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick the best carpet for our needs.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I had. They came through in the clutch for us last Christmas to get us the right carpet installed for us a day or 2 before Christmas even though they were swamped. We appreciated their service so much that we are getting carpet out in from them in our living room again soon. They also gave us suggestions on how to get quality carpet and keep our costs down. We really like our flooring, however service here is poor. Have a warranty issue on the floor. It has been dragging on for months. When we finally have someone out that looks at it, he tells us the installation by Dalton was done wrong. Ok thats why we pay for instillation to have it done right. Anyhow, the warranty work is supposed to be approved and just needs to be scheduled. Every call I place to Dalton ends with a promise of a call back for some reason they cant take care of the issue during the call, and the call back that never happens. Same story repeats over and over

We had an awful experience not once, not twice but 5 times within 2 months with Home Depot. We decided to go w Dalton and from the moment we walked in, NICK gave us stellar service w his knowledge and expertise! We were educated on style and type of carpet that would fit our pets best, and we got our first pick readily available ( we went through 5 different carpet styles w HD). The installation date was only a few days later and JOEL did an EXCELLENT job installing. All I can say is THANK YOU! We will forever more be a customer with Dalton!

Just moved into a new home and realized carpet in 3 bedrooms needs to be replaced. I wanted to find something quick so we could get it installed as soon as possible. Nick was knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to borrow a sample board so that we could color match to our hall carpet. We made our selection and Nick got us on the calendar for install in a reasonable timeframe. Very customer service friendly. Im pleased we stopped in!

Highly recommended. We are repeat customers of Nicks! We had purchased carpet and had it installed last year in March. The whole process was super smooth and we loved the final results. This year our big project is vinyl flooring for our kitchen. Nick is very knowledgeable in all areas of flooring and has been super helpful answering our questions. We were in the market for new carpet for our basement. I had checked out reviews from several stores in the area and decided upon Dalton Carpet Outlet West because of all the great reviews. Nick, the manager, helped us find exactly what we needed and we wound up talking to him for a while after we had our carpet and pad picked out! Great service and very knowledgeable, I will be going there for all our future flooring needs and recommending them to all our friends.

Our experience here was a good one. We needed some carpet replaced in our house. We came in and talked to none other than Nick. We described the situation to him, he suggested we try to accent match our existing carpet as finding the exact carpet would be a challenge. After a bit more discussion and searching we were able to find as close to the exact color carpet as we could. He spent plenty of time helping us and we never felt rushed. He answered all our questions, and never tried to up sale us once. The price was reasonable, with the pad included which was nice. Im used to that being thrown in at the end. Weve used Home Depot in the past for the free install, and tried to use them again this time. But they didnt have near as many options that were close to matching. And ultimately I think we got the better deal at Dalton. Jeremy our installer was great, he came our for our measurement and was able to save us some carpet as well based on how he was going to run the room. Great! He arrived on time and got us taken care of without issue. Will look to Dalton in the future!

During lockdown we had some water damage in our kitchen and needed to have the cheap, old, ugly flooring replaced. The insurance appraiser recommended Dalton (West). We worked with Nick, who is a very knowledgeable and experienced salesman, and managed to get a better quality waterproof flooring within our budget. The installers were also great. The subfloor was messed up and they fixed it for us. They have modern quality flooring at good prices and everyone was nice, professional, and helpful!

About 6 years ago the salesman sold me flooring that will not work in a 3 season room. The salesman said he knew which flooring to sell. After purchasing the flooring I had the opportunity to talk to the company who installed the 3 season room. I was told the flooring that I purchased would not last 3 years with how it had to be installed. Terrible service. I was taken advantage of and they would not take the unopened boxes of flooring back. Do not trust this store or the people who work there.

So far I have to give this store my best review. Our salesman, Nick, is very personable and helpful. His answers are quick and direct. The price we are quoted are reasonable. I met the installer, Andy, I think he will do a great job.

A few weeks ago my husband and I stopped into Dalton Carpet hoping to get a quote for carpet for a basement bedroom. Nick, the manager, was super helpful! He asked us questions and gave us realistic options. We were able to get great carpet for a reasonable rate without being pushed towards higher end products that didnt fit our needs. We were so impressed, we purchased the carpet on the spot. He was also able to get our carpet installed the very next week. Andy and his crew did a remarkable jobs - the intricate cuts required to fit our oddly shaped bedroom were done superbly. Nick Rodeo the manager was super helpful and I especially liked how transparent he was with everything. I was lured in by the big box stores pricing and Nick was able to get a better product and get installation within 2 weeks and all was complete before Thanksgiving. As of now everything is great; From the moment we walked into the show room, they started out asking questions, showing us different options and cost, using our rough measurements and scheduling to verify room measurements. The install was both done in a professional manor and was educational for my wife and myself, when we had questions and concerns the installers took the time to explain the process so that we would have a clear understanding why they were doing the install the way that they were.They were friendly, professional. We will have to wait and see how things look a year or two from now.

I stopped into the Dalton Carpet Outlet on N. Westhill in Appleton hoping to get carpeting within my budget. The manager (Nick) immediately assessed the job I had in mind and within 20 minutes I had a quote that was $200 under budget. 10 days later I had my stairs and two large bedrooms carpeted. The installers were courteous and efficient, finishing the job in a few hours. My entire experience with this company has been positive and I would definitely recommend them in the future.

After stopping in a few carpet stores in the fox valley, we made our way into Dalton Carpet on the West side of Appleton. In our first visit we learned about what makes the different carpet styles and materials different. With this in mind, we were able to make an informed decision at an affordable price. We chose to remove the old carpet ourselves to save a few dollars and were also recommended to paint the floor with killz. The poor condition of our old carpet with several pets had made it less than ideal. That recommendation was worth the price of admission. The rest of the process went as seamless we could have wished. We used their carpet installation crew and everything worked out well. They were all professional, efficient and we would recommend them for your next project.

Went to Dalton Carpet Outlet on April 5th,2019. We choose our carpeting and was told they would call to set up an appointment to come and measure the room. As of today April 17th,2019 they have still have not called. I did call twice and they were going to get back to us. After reading the reviews we thought why not shop there. We would not recommended Dalton Carpet Outlet! Very bad business. Think twice before going there. Waste of our time!!!!

Hard to rate TBH. I wish i could write a detailed review but figure most wont read all the way to end. So in summary, picking out flooring was great, the free estimate was great, them coming to measure was great. Then the hassles started! Was called to tell us our materials were in and set an install date. Time frame not met. Not all flooring was in. Had to suggest to THEM, they could install what was in and we could schedule another day, when the rest came in. They told us a two day install for ALL of it. Took 2 days for what was in, basically half the flooring. One week later, which we loved walking around on subfloor in our living room, the rest of flooring arrived. Had to beg to get it done ASAP, another 2 days of subfloor walking, they finish the flooring project. All said and done, workmanship is very good. Trust me, its early yet, so we shall see how it holds up. So if you can put up with the constant grunts, groans and them answering their phones while working, the constant phone calls to make sure they are still ON SCHEDULE, give them a chance. But i will not recommend them to any family or friends. Remember this was a general summary too. Disappointed customer here.

We did not have a good experience with the Westhill Blvd location. After installation we noticed a discolored area, the sales person came to the house and agreed to file a claim for a new carpet install. Our follow up calls were not returned, the installer did not show up on the designated day, we went to the store and our sales rep didnt even know who we were.Will not recommend to friends or family.

Be advised that each Dalton store operates individually, and even though the sales people may tell you their quotes apply for either store it may not be true. We went to the Dalton on Westhill and got a quote for installation. He told us that quote would be valid for flooring we bought at their store OR the Dalton store across town. We ended up finding a vinyl that we liked for a cheaper price across town but their install price was $60 more than the one on Westhill. We asked why the difference on install, and he said they had different contractors. So we bought our flooring and then headed over to the Westhill location to setup install. The salesperson who had quoted us wasnt there, but the manager was. She refused to setup the instal because HER salesperson didnt make the commission. We explained her salesperson didnt mention that, and he said that it didnt matter which store it was purchased from.We ended up having to drive back to the other side of town and pay the higher installation price which then didnt even make the cheaper floor worth it. Both stores are owned by the same person so not sure why it matters which one of his sales people makes the commission. We bought the flooring from a Dalton store so it would seem like ANY Dalton store should be willing to get it installed for us. Either way we werent happy about the added cost, and Im pretty sure we wont be buying flooring from them again.
