I told my friend. Good place but was disappointed when I went. Food wasnt fully cooked. Cheese wasnt melted. It was cold. I was hungry. Just ate it. I did mention it to staff. Thats how it is. Hmmm. I had steak enchiladas. One piece of steak on top. Rest is just cheese inside. My friend meal was cold too... didnt eat it all. Didnt want to take home leftover.

This place is the best, top notch extremely authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu is massive with something for everyone. From the meat and sauce to even the tortilla and rice, you simply cant be disappointed with presentation or flavor. The spices and aromas are perfect. Although the front may seem like a hole in the wall place, the inside is nice and neat with an amazing atmosphere and music. Food is relatively cheap for what you get, it comes out quickly after you order it, and the staff is lovely. If youre looking for authentic Mexican or even just a place to go for any meal, this is a must visit.

I go only for the tacos. Very bad service. Waitresses never checked on my table, they sta on the bar or on the back talking. Had to get up to ask for napkins, Togo box and my bill. Like I said they never checked on us. It was hard to find someone to help us. Only good food is the tacos. Thats it.

Food is super good and delicious... the only problem that it takes like 2 hrs to get you order ...the girls at this place should spend there time cleaning or doing something. you see tables from people that left stay dirty for like 1 hr and they all talking on there phones.. you not a model you work as waitress so just do your job that bar was super dirty the entrance is a shame.. not bad but probably will lose lots of costumers that wait to much time ...

Food was hit and miss. Some was great, some was barely edible. I would guess that some of my food sat for quite awhile while the rest was cooked. I called in for pick up and had to call 4 time ls to get an answer. Pick up was scheduled for 35 minutes, and I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes with barely a hello and no update on the delay. The food may be better eating at the restaurant itself, but the service left much to be desired.

The food at this restaurant is awesome! I just had tacos, but saw many of the entries and they looked great.My server was a little slow getting back to me with the bill but overall good.The mens room was messy and has broken appliances. There was soap, but no towels and the towel dispenser was hanging from only 1 of 2 screws.Overall, I recommend this restaurant!

Mi Lindo is always one of my favorite places for Mexican food. However, I dont know if ownership has changed, but the last time I went there, there were 5 girls working and they were all very VERY inattentive! A group of gentleman waited at the counter for 5 minutes to check out while all 5 girls talked and laughed very loudly behind a wall, with a window in it and my friend and I had to ask for chips and salsa that came 2 minutes before our food. Great food but service could use some work.

Since moving from Racine, I have attempted to find great authentic Mexican restaurants. The food was good except the meat was so SALTY! I couldnt finish my food. I enjoyed everything else; however, the protein should not be that salty if its the main portion of the dish. It makes no sense.

This was my first time trying this place out and unfortunately, it will also be my last. Some friends and I had been wanting to try this place. We were all very disappointed with our experience. It took almost an hour to get carry out. You can go to any other Mexican restaurant in town and get carryout in under 30 minutes, regardless of if they are busy or not. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, enchiladas poblanos. I am not an expert when it comes to Mexican food but any other time Ive ordered this dish it was covered in a roasted poblano cream sauce. This dish was made with a red mole sauce that was extremely over-salted. Since this dish had zero poblano peppers associated with it, I fail to see why it is called enchiladas poblanos. We also ordered the American taco platter and the Mordeduras appetizer. The tacos had no flavor in my opinion. We order two chicken and two beef. The chicken was very dry and the beef, just like the enchiladas, was extremely over-salted. The tacos were also very messy & sloppy and they just fell apart when you tried to pick them up. Both enchiladas and the tacos came with rice and beans. The rice and beans also had no flavor, and the rice was very dry with what appeared to be frozen peas and corn. The serving size of the rice and beans we received was not appropriate to the cost. The appetizer was the only thing about the meal that we enjoyed. We were surprised at how good it was compared to the main dishes. We were also very disappointed with their to-go containers. Many other Mexican restaurants in the area use round tin containers appropriate to the amount of food that they are serving. This restaurant uses a fast food-style compartment container. All of our dishes were just thrown together in these containers. I think the worst part of our food was that everything was cold when we got home and I live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. We would all think that after waiting almost an hour for food that wasnt very good, it would have at least been hot.I wouldn’t even considered giving this place another chance.

*4.3 starts is very misleading* All three times I’ve been there the service was horrible. Unless you are a table of men, have witnessed on multiple occasions…Food was cold and not very good 2 out of 3 as well. Id suggest going a block and a half up to Sangrias! Amazing food and service EVERY time.

My chimichanga was delicious and my husbands lamb dish (Barria?) was so so good. The salsa and bean dip had amazing flavor (definitely my fav salsa in the fox valley now). Margaritas were huge and delicious.

Chilequiles were a bit over salted. The rest was okay though.

Dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to anywhere. From the entry, through the bar area and seating area, to the bathroom. Food tasted good, but I couldn’t help but wonder what the kitchen was like. There are many excellent Mexican restaurants in the area. No reason to go here.

Went there on a Taco Tuesday and although the food was delicious and the wait staff was great at greeting us and trying to understand our basic English to get our order correct their portion size is astronomically small. They have dollar fifty Tacos on Tuesday with that the you must purchase at least two of whatever one you want. The wait staff had forgotten we had for so long they came back to us and asked us if we would like to order again. When we got our food it was in a plastic bag wrapped in tinfoil Andy portions were tiny. I would not recommend this place again.

Worst service ever. Took an hour and a half to get our tacos. Asked for more salsa and chips twice and never got them. Waitress would disappear for 30 minutes at a time. The steak and burria tacos were really good though.

Usually love this place. We went there tonight, I wish I could say the food was good. After 2 hours of waiting at the bar and watching people come and go..still didnt get the order. The server kept saying that it was almost done but no food. We ended up leaving.

This is the only Mexican place you should be going to in Appleton. Period. The food is great and authentic, and they have some great weekday specials (which they dont advertise). They occasionally get very busy and the wait can be significant, but it is always worth it for the food and atmosphere. Karen is the best server in town and treats her regulars with love! Go here!

Spacious, friendly, colorful and great music. Food quality was good, but not as great as Fronteras. On the other hand, the dining room here is properly distant from the front door cold. Tacos Carne Asada were deliciously moist, and the house margherita plentiful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking in the back, with a proper back entrance.

Second time ordering from here and horrible service. Tried to call to order direct and no answer, had to order pick up from Eatstreet. 1 hour estimated time for pickup?! And when we got there another 30 minutes waiting. Unacceptable, amazing they’re even open.

Undeniably the best place to get tacos on Tuesday’s. Only $1 for a variety of 8 “Mexican style” tacos on fresh hand made tortillasService is pretty good depending on how busy it is and who your server is, if you’re in a rush, sit at the bar. The back dining area is usually pretty busy around lunch time.Lindo also has some of the better (especially when considering price) non taco Tuesday Mexican food as well. Highly recommend.

Food was good but.. when we arrived the dining room was packed which is fine so we had a seat at the bar and we were the only people at the bar and could not get served. Waited about 15 -20min no service, even if we just had Waters we would have been happy. Got a table, was at least 10 min until we got chips or Waters. Maybe another 15 until we got our actual beverages. Took over 30 min for our tacos which all came out wrong of what we ordered, which whatever they are just tacos but we were all annoyed by this point. Got our bill which was also wrong and took her forever to figure out. Waitress was nice but just no one was on top of anything, very unorganized. Ill stick to Solea sorry.

I always try to give this place a chance, because their food is amazing, but every single experience Ive had their service is awful and miserably slow. Not worth your time. I waited 30 minutes OVER the estimated pick up time for a takeout order today. Not sure why I even waited. I planned to walk out numerous times, but I wanted to notify the waitstaff of their terrible service before I did, and couldnt even get acknowledgement to do that. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is the spot. If you want actual Mexican food then make sure you try anything and everything you can. Im vegan and always ask for their Flautas with no dairy. The salsas are great and if you stop by on Tuesday you might wanna ask about their beer specials.

Disappointed!! Coming out from work, I just wanted to have super, the restaurant was very dirty, it was a take out, everything I bought for my family was so salty we couldn’t eat it!! Everything went into the garbage!! I wonder if the owner is around???? I will never buy from them anymore!! I’m just hoping that the little I ate, doesn’t goes down ok!! 🙄

Great food. Terrible service. Ive never in my life been so neglected by a server as we were here. I rarely leave reviews, but the service at this joint needs to be addressed. My drink was never offered to be refilled. The chips and salsa was never refilled, even though we asked twice. Im surprised we even got her attention long enough to ask for a refill twice. In the hour we were there, we only saw the waitress maybe 3 times. Maybe she wasnt trained properly, but how can a waitress come to a table and see everyones empty drink, and not even ask if wed like a refill? After all the poor service, I stood by the register for 15 minutes just to pay my bill. I was 10 seconds away from just walking out on the tab, but a different waitress came over and checked me out. Im disappointed because I thought I finally found a good Mexican Restaurant in this area, but they probably wont want me back after this review. Im not saying to stay away from this restaurant, but dont expect good service, you wont find it here.

Been here twice. First time I ordered the Enchiladas Michoacanas: great dish! Tasty and not something that is often found in this area. Second time I ordered enchiladas poblanas. Unfortunately, the sauce was too salty, that is why I give this restaurant only four stars. Good environment, great selection. Good place to go and get Mexican food from a different part of Mexico.

I had the vegetarian burrito Christmas style (half red sauce half green sauce) and it was the most flavorful burrito and best tasting I have had in the Midwest. The homemade sauce was over the top and what will bring me back. It is a restaurant/bar/market all in one. Very unique and authentic Mexican experience. Viva Lindo Michoacan!

Restaurant is small and fairly easy to miss from the outside. Food is fantastic, authentic, and portions are large. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Hands down the best tacos in town!!! I never really liked Mexican food. But when I tried out the tacos here. It changed my mind about Mexican food greatly! I only go here for Mexican food and I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasnt tried out this place yet!!

Best autentic food.

First time and the food was very very delish! My husband says the best Mexican in Appleton. The wait was not long to get our food, the server was really great. I liked the atmosphere! Beautiful paintings on the walls! It got really busy as we were finishing our food so I had to wait a bit for the check, but I really didnt mind since I waited by the bar and listened to the beautiful Spanish language spoken between the patrons of the bar and the bartender. Of course I had no clue what they were saying, but I love the language anyway. The ONLY reason is 4 stars instead of 5, is because the table we sat at. Its a wood table and the creases are a bit wide so it is not really able to be cleaned. So there are crumbs and old food in the creases. It is a bit of a turn off, but hey, none of my food fell into the table, but you know if it had, it was so delicious I just might have eaten it anyway. I am still going to be returning again. Super good.

Good authentic Mexican fare. Prices are very reasonable and the food is very reminiscent of the Yucatan peninsula for me. Service was a little overwhelmed that day and they are in the process of expanding. it may be better to try to park on Washington Street instead of the front but it is worth it. Good place. The service was friendly and very welcoming. The steak taco was very good, the chips were fresh and the bean dip was simple yet delicious with some whole beans rather than just a smashed bean mixture. My enchilada was different than I expected with just enough green sauce to wet the tortilla. The pork had good flavor but was a bit dry. We really enjoyed visiting the grocery next door and picked up some tamales that were amazing along with some fresh clementines and limes. The produce and deli meats all looked fresh and of excellent quality. It was clean and well organized. Ill be going back to the grocery store.

Hand made little tortilla shells. I ordered 6. I could have probably eaten a few more because they go down so quick. The food here is great! Quick service and an extensive menu with plenty of vegetarian options. They also serve breakfast all day and its fantastic. There is a wide open parking lot in the back. There is also an attached grocery store.

Used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in appleton but something changed in the last six months. Staff is still very friendly but food is no longer worth going out for.
