The prices for the specialty diet foods are on par or better than the near by chain grocery stores.And their house made quac is hard to pass up on every visit.Only thing I wish they had was a destination charger for EVs.

Very impressed by the store! My son requires grainfree foods and probiotics and will be attending college this fall. Wonderful selections, great store hours, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We even found products new to us for him to try! Im so relieved that hell have access to The Free Market!

Good selection, prices about what you’d expect. We just don’t enjoy shopping here because of the unhelpful, unwelcoming atmosphere. No one says hi or offers to help. There are other places I’d rather shop, however if you know what you’re looking for it probably wouldn’t bother you.

The Free Market is a beautiful, earth-conscious store which is perfect for customers who are looking for sustainable, organic, vegan, local and bulk options. There is even a cafe in the back to buy fresh sandwiches and beverages.While I appreciate the bulk option, I wish that the current container system could be amended; right now, you are required to buy and put a deposit onto the stores Mason jars instead of just using your own. Also, for an eco-friendlier store, Im always quite surprised by just how much plastic lines the shelves.Ultimately, this store is a wonderful option relative to big-name retailers, but I would love to see an even deeper commitment to sustainability!

I have been going here since they opened on and off. I had a membership but let it expire since it didnt really make sense for me. I still stop in time to time to check their produce. Great finds there!!! Also concerning the other reviews saying the staff is rude...I think the people writing the reviews are the rude ones... Never had an issue with a single staff member in all my years going there. They are all very nice people. Thank you Free Market for being the only store of your type in Fox Valley since The Red Radish closed in Neenah. Keep up the great work.

I use to see this as a lovely place and a source of the majority of our groceries. They do have great products! But over the past few months, the employees being hired have been incredibly rude and the customer service is terrible, in store and online. Sad. I loved supporting local but this store just isn’t it any longer.

I used to really enjoy and love my visits to this store, but I can shop elsewhere. I hope they can resolve their issues with staff. I wont support or tolerate that kind of behavior.

Awesome store. Staff are pleasant. They have some hard to find GF items. Store has been following CDC safety recommendations and only grocery I feel safe going into. They also provide curbside pickup if you email your order.

Fantastic little grocery/goods store. I was looking for this specific a2 milk and found them in my search, they keep it stocked.Lots of goodies here, you HAVE to try the Meyer Lemon tarts. Tons of good chocolate and cheese selections.Some items are a bit marked up but prices overall arent bad for this kind of store.

The folks at the Free Market are wonderful! Tons of options for gluten free, and vegan diets not to mention the larger amount of organic and non-GMO items!!!

A business Im honored to support. I love that they source some of their products from local families and farms as well as having a selection from producers farther from home. Neat place. Nice staff. Got some fluoride-free toothpaste and fresh turmuric. You could spend your whole day looking over everything in there. Will definitely be back.

What can go wrong with free

The Free Market was a saving grace when visiting the food desert of WI. My SO and I visited WI for a wedding from WA and struggled to find food that was edible. This all changed once we found the Free Market. Their deli was phenomenal and very affordable. They were willing to make custom options without any hesitation, which was very much appreciated. If I ever return to WI - I will be visiting the Free Market. Without a doubt 5/5

Really nice owners and staff. Only reason for 4 stars is that they have no prepared food/hot food. Although - I did speak to a gentleman (I think a manager?) who said they’re working on it!What they DO have is an impressive supplements/vitamins section, lots of great health food and organic brands, some fresh produce, and a wicked juice bar! (Seriously, the green juice they make is delicious and made to order). I imagine the smoothies are good too.Got some hummus from a local maker and it was quite good. Also enjoyed some fresh local kombucha (they have it on tap).Prices were average for a store that sells the brands that they do (ie not cheap but I don’t think they’re charging any more than Whole Foods for example).

I love going here to get random organic foods that I can’t find at any other store in the area—and to support the local businesses of the area as well. I specifically go here to fill up on spices because the prices cannot be beat! The staff is super friendly as well and knowledgeable about the items that they sell.

Organic produce is always fresh. Everyone here is very helpful. Large dairy free section.(vegan area)

The best place in the city for organic food and high quality nutritional supplements and vitamins. The smoothie bar is excellent too. Also sells organic, cruelty free cosmetics, cleaning products, baby goods, and pet foods. Also great for those who are gluten free and environmentally conscious.

Love this little store. I require eating organic when I was traveling the quality brands I purchase at home were many of the same brands they carry here. This gave me blessed assurance it was safe for me to eat. We found amazing kombucha on tap which later our local store started to carry. Thank you for your awesome store and friendly employees.

This is an amazing grocery store for organic, gluten free and vegetarian items. Plus, lots of their produce comes from local farmers to help make it more eco friendly. One of my favorites is being able to get tasty food to go. They make it in house and is a wonderful healthy fast option.

Very interesting store with many different varieties. If your struggling looking for what you need this place probably has it. It is not very big but its worth stopping in to see what they have to offer.

Great supply of herbal teas, soaps, and oils. If they dont have what you need they will try to order it for you. Because its organic its a little pricy on some items but thats anywhere organic. The store is clean the staff friendly and helpful and its easy to find.

Great place to find specialty diet food, homeopathic and herbal remedies.They added a few pet foods and supplies in the last couple months.

My wife likes this store due to its organic roots. Has a decent selection but you sometimes need to watch what you pickup. Also prices are a little high but I guess I almost expect that for the market its in.

Best local grocery store in the area. Has just about everything I need in a smaller building. Never overly crowded. Prices are a little higher, but its also a contribution to local business!
