Shane is a great guy. My wife Jina and I stop in everytime we see him open. He keeps odd hours so its best to make an appointment.

Odd ball joint that does not specialize in vinyl, last visit I saw a sign in the store that said that sharpen chainsaws! Old clothes....you name it, they have it. Very much just a thrift store. What vinyl they have is in milk crates on the floor. They keep odd hours, you better call first.

Shane is a very interesting guy with lots of stories to tell, if you need music memorobilia I definitely recommend coming here.

Listen music collectors. This place is a HOLY GRAIL for anyone who is into music memorabilia! This guy was a music business guy for decades and he was a hoarder that NEVER threw away anything. This store has a number of new cds and some old and a few vinyls, but it is absolutely choke full of LONG out of print posters, flyers, memoabilia, shirts, magazines, limited promotionals, mobiles and just about anything else that bands and labels used to try and get the word out about their artists! All dating back to the late 80s! I have never seen anything quite like this place. I have only been there twice, and you do have to call ahead and try a few times with the owner, but if you do get in here it is a goldmine for any music memorabilia fan. This guy also needs the business, hes had lots of medical issues and hospice care. There is also a whole backroom of untouched vinyl but as of the moment its off limits. I am leaving this review now cause I dont want this place lost to time and I want music fans to see what amazing things exist right under the radar and come and help bring it out to the light. Ill never forget my experiences going here. And I intend to go back again if I am able to deal with some big medical issues of my own that make travel difficult. Please music memorabilia fans, dont forget about Appleton Imports!!!!

Shane at Appleton Imports has been a staple of downtown Appleton for 28 years! I remember as a kid I wandered into the store and playing foosball and talking rock music. Silmply the best record in the fox valley.
