Ive been going to the exclusive company since I was in high school. Of course, it was all cds and tapes back then, but still a great place to find new and used music plus hi fi equipment.

I used to love this place. It was great for making my collection more complete as they have many records to choose from. However, today I visited and noticed they had restocked Red by Taylor Swift! Luckily, I had already bought it from them as it is now FIFTY DOLLARS. Just last month, I got it from them for $22. I do not care if the demand is high. That is a scalper price. If you’re looking for Red, it’s been occasionally restocking at other stores, notably Amazon, all for around $26. DO NOT PAY $50 FOR RED, THAT IS A SCAM.

Best record store in Appleton...Best record store in the entire Fox Cities. Been going to Exclusive since I was a child and still am a regular customer 30+ years later. If they dont have it they will order it for you. A+

Just heard from my friends that Red by Taylor Swift is currently being sold here for $50 when last month I got one for $22. This is absolutely embarrassing for me to have to witness scalping after I praised this record store to over 55k people on tiktok. I can’t even begin to imagine how embarrassing it is for the store.

I love this place. They have a great selection of music and knowledgeable staff. It seems to be being overrun with used vinyl but that is the growing trend.

The Exclusive Co. In Appleton is the best record store in WI. Well organized, they rotate their merchandise, will order for you if they dont have a record,and staff is friendly. Selection is great!

Can not get refunded for merchandise. There is a small sign on the counter. Where merchandise sits on top of. And its on the receipt, that you get after you buy it.

Speaking for Car Audio section of the store, and wow is it awesome! The whole staff is extremely knowledgeable and give amazing advice whether youre spending 2 grand or just browsing. Theyre the type of people who know each and every piece of equipments price and specs by heart. Always willing to hook you up with a deal if they can. 10/10 reccomend this company over walmart or online shopping

Awesome record store! I love the variety, and they also had some very cool shirts for sale. I used to frequent the shop on State St. in Madison, which I miss, so it was really nice to discover that this location had the same atmosphere and great selection.

Say what you want about ordering stuff on line,I just love to browse once and awhile.Even though I have to travel 109 miles to do it.

Best place in the valley to get records and stereo equipment. If they dont have a particular record youre looking for they can order it in, but its pretty rare to find something that they dont have. All the employees are friendly and the equipment side of the store contains some very knowledgeable people who can help you get set up.

Every time I come here to the audio department there is always someone who knows exactly what they are talking about. They answer all my questions without pressuring me into something I don’t want. They sell top quality products and are willing to go way above and beyond to help the customers they have. The exclusive company will always have my business.

Recently upgraded my car stereo with amp sub and new door speakers, the advice i got was awesone, the products i bought were very high quality. Ill be back again.

Local, independent record store that sells vinyl, CDs both used and new. Also sell car and home audio. Great staff and customer service, if you cant find what you want, theyll order it for you. Great customer loyalty program too.

The last of the true record stores offering titles hard to find and able to get better than online and not able to see the whole album and all the artwork before you pay for it and even old hard to find titles that are only available as used but in great shape.

The short middle aged guy that I guess runs the Appleton location store is extremely rude and very inconsiderate. I try to support local independent record stores but this guy makes it virtually impossible. Would it kill you to maybe just try greeting a customer when they walk through the door??? Had issues in the past with this guy and now just recently so posting my review. Everyone one else that works or had worked there, were wonderful and very helpfully. .. not to mention polite!

Friendly knowledgeable staff, great electronics section but not a huge selection of audio like CDs or vinyls. However they can order it for you if you call them and they will call you back when they get it in for you.

I was referred here for cassette tapes. They had like 10 and 5 were Ted Nugent. They had some music in the right spot but I had to go to pop rock for 80s rock? They sell music thats for sure. Their stereos and speakers are way too overpriced too. I was pretty disappointed and I will not be back.

I can easily spend hours in this location. They carry so many CDs and Vinyl that I enjoy and often times the prices are cheaper than Amazon and other online retailers. They also sell used media and offer a rewards system, which Ive been able to redeem points for on several occasions.Cannot recommend this place further if you love music. Great atmosphere and the staff is helpful but also leaves you alone to browse their large collection.

They have a decent new Lp selection, however the place kinda stinks. Literally, its musty as hell. And the staff is pretty unwelcoming, even for a record store.

I called to discuss purchasing a new stereo system for my car. After my first question regarding a couple of head unit options, I was told to come in to the store because the gentleman I was speaking to on the phone was too busy to talk on the phone. A couple other local retailers were more than happy to assist with my questions over the phone. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Presently the best place in Appleton to buy a CD, Ive no trouble hunting for my artists here. I come by so often that Im sure that a couple of the employees recognize me on sight. There is one thing to watch out for, when looking at the pre-owned rock CDs you can have 5 copies of the same disk with three different prices, just be sure that you take a look at them before you buy.

This is one of the only places left to buy CDs in person. It feels good to support a local business rather than order a copy from Amazon that comes broken in the mail.

Exclusive Company is the source for music devotees of all ages and genres. I have been collecting Tom Pettys albums, both with Heartbreakers and Mudcrutch. Regardless of the release year they can order CDs, but they also carry vinyl. Just go there! Enjoy the memories!

Always a good place to go sifting through old vinyl LPs and EPs. I am very pleased that they have increased their stock of used/vintage. Ive bought used and new from here before and I have had no problems with quality. The customer service is also professional. Theyre always willing to help answer questions concerning my set-up and have helped me to find the right needles and other doo dads in the past!

Was not good, guy behind desk was rude as hell and I made an a appointment to get my subs wired, and they took walk ins before my scheduled appointment. I came back 2 and a half hours later (they told me it would be done in about an hour) for them to tell me they didnt even get to touch it.
