Its a cute hidden spot in Ardmore right near the train station (hence the name). It was a bit crowded since it is a tight space due to it being small inside so tables were close together to one another. Wish they had more room to space the tables out a bit away from each other. We walked in at a good time since we happened to get the last available table. The only bad thing about where we sat was it was by the door so as people came in they gathered to wait right there by the door next to us and it felt like they were right on top of us. But you can tell its a popular place to come and eat because of how busy it was and the fact people were willing to wait for a table to open up. Waitress was pleasant and came by our table a few times to offer us a coffee refill as we waited for our breakfast. Although it was a bit of a wait until we got served our food the food was good and served warm.

The food is always great at the station. Not to mention the prices are amazing and portions also great.I wish they had espresso, but their regular coffee is also very good. There is an espresso place downstairs if you really need it. :)

The food is amazing! We love coming here or ordering breakfast from here. Their French toasts are the best. I suggest getting the sampler because theres so many to choose from. They give really decent portion sizes so you should not leave hungry and I dont feel the food is overpriced at all.

Quaint breakfast spot on the Main Line across from the Ardmore R5 Septa station. Its a good alternative to Sabrinas or Nudys if they are too crowded. The food is good and a great choice for anyone who wants to go out for breakfast while mindful of their budget.

Pretty decent food for the price. Had the Cinnamon Streusel Pancakes. For 8.50$ I wish there had been more than just one small dollop of the cinnamon butter but still they were good.

Great location, good food, but the service that I received was terrible. The two young servers that served me on a Sunday morning were not very nice to me when I was paying and leaving. One handed me back my credit card and receipt with a pen in the wrong direction that almost stabbed me in the palm. The other wished me a nice day without even looking at me. That was my first visit, and my last one, too.

Food was good, menu is extensive and looks great. However, they lack any Gluten Free options, no toast, no pancakes etc. Even the potatoes are not GF. When asked to have fruit and turkey bacon instead of potatoes and toast because of the Gluten free situation, we were up charged. We were not told about this. When I mentioned to the manager regarding GF options, he was too busy to care. Too many other dining places available in the area with better customer service and GF choices.

This beautiful little hidden gem was a treat to ear at. The service is great with friendly staff. The food is good and at a fair price. The freshness blew me away. This is a treat for your tastebuds. We built our own omelette, had the Crab Benedict and sampler French toast. Smores, Cinnamon toast crunch and Very berry. Awesome!!!!!

Today we’re in Ardmore - a suburb of Havertown. Easily accessible by train, the Ardmore Station Café is located on the second floor above the actual station. All surfaces are spotlessly clean and the chrome on the salt and pepper shakers shines. The café is essentially one large, probably drafty, tile floored room. It has a high-ceiling with mismatched tiles and a skylight. If you are looking for ambiance then stay on the train. If you’re looking for delicious food, creative French Toast combinations, high-octane premium coffee and bacon that melts in your mouth; then you have come to the right train station.I ordered the toasted coconut pancakes with a never ending serving of that premium java. My companion, overwhelmed by the French Toast choices, ordered the Sampler. She got three different kinds of French Toast to sample. She chose: Peanut Butter & Banana, Speculoos Stuffed and S’mores. And of course we ordered a side of bacon. Did I mention the bacon already? Thick cut and cooked to the perfect crumble factor!Breakfast for two with extra bacon and coffee was just under $20. I was quite surprised and happy with Ardmore Station Cafe, breakfast spot! The breakfast sandwiches are solid, and come with hash browns which are cooked perfectly. Everything seems very fresh. The staff is very friendly as well. I will certainly be returning.

We love coming here and is love to end there. But since Im giving 4 starts I want to explain. We are a small family and love to grab a bagel sandwich and coffee. Our son loves catching a glimpse of a train rolling by! Sometimes the potatoes served alongside are just right and other times the grease is too much, but overall great food. No place to change a baby, which affected us a few years ago.

The service was great and swift. Food was awesome. I recommend the pizza omelette for you pizza and omelette lovers. Its not a 5 star restaurant but it is a 4 star cafe.

We had a decent breakfast here one Saturday morning. Service was good, food decent, place was clean and price reasonable. Good bright morning light. Would probably return if in the area again. I had the eggs Benedict and presume they use some sort of process to poach the eggs that left them strangely uniform, but they were cooked the proper amount so the dish was good. The home fries were a little like short french fries but tasty enough.

Food was delicious, but don’t bother coming in here if you’re under the age of 40. Hostess and servers were rude for absolutely no reason other than my friends and I were young. They wouldn’t push two tables for us to sit together, but when groups of adults came in the pushed tables together for many other groups.

I havent been able to decide what my favorite breakfast is yet... I love so many things on the menu.

When ever we visit, we see a local crowd mixed with daily commuters and people passing through this great city. I would highly recommend stopping by for a taste. You will not regret it, they have an excellent chef that takes pride in everything he does and the service is fantastic.I know the owners well, two of the most honest and hardworking people I know. They have taken the American dream and exploited it to its fullest. They are young, ambitious and have managed to provide a wonderful place to eat.

Great breakfast. Love the options. Although the place is tiny and the wait is pretty long, the staff, while very young, really does a great job. Especially with the ridiculous requests of people these days. I heard at least 3 different parties ask if they could rearrange tables and seat 5 at a table for 4....come on!! Haley was our waitress and was really great.

Very good food and nice bright atmosphere. Service is awful. Took 30 mins to get 3 waters and an orange juice. If you have the time to spend all day getting breakfast this is a great place ! Otherwise I’d pass on this one.

The breakfast brunch menu was fantastic offering a great variety of dishes and many tasty selections from classic egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches, many variations of Egg Benedict and omelettes to fancy French Toast selections, as well as many different pancake varieties. On top of all that, many optional healthy choices, where you can request whole grain batter for your pancakes or multigrain bread for french toast. The only disappointment was our server. She wasnt very attentive nor friendly; yet, all other servers, I witnessed, couldnt he nicer. I would definitely go back to this little cozy restaurant in Ardmore. The prices were very reasonable, too! An extra bonus. Well worth the trip!

Food was ok - service was not very good - waiter came by once to check on us and then never returned to refill water glasses or coffee.Silverware and table were not clean and the staff was playing very loud metal band music so it was hard to have a conversation. Several reviews have mentioned that this diner seems to be run by inattentive teenagers. This seemed true in our experience as well. We even had trouble getting the waiter’s attention to get our check - he was much more interested in hanging out behind the register with the other young staff.

Kind of place that should be treasured by all of us on the Mainline! Traditional American diner feel where you will bump into your friends and neighbors on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Their breakfast options can be more traditional or more sophisticated and refined, depending on your mood, and you cant beat the price.

I went here for a team breakfast and they were very accommodating. The good was delicious and they were able to serve all of our orders within a minute of each other! The menu was a big plus for me.

A fairly typical diner, but I was recommended the pancakes as their specialty, and they were pretty great. Light, fluffy, and not too heavy they were a nice change from the usual diner fare. The sausage was okay (should always stick with bacon), and the coffee was always full.

I went with my sisters and my mother for Mothers Day brunch. The food was fantastic! I ordered the variety player of French toast and a spinach and egg sandwich. The only complaint we had was that my sister ordered a cold turkey wrap and got a ground turkey wrap instead. I would come back again

I love the Station Cafe. Its a classic dinner with some interesting twists - try the healthy burrito or Nutella-stuffed french toast. The La Colombe coffee they pour is a cut above most diners. As with all diners, watch out for the Sunday morning rush - but service is fast and exceptionally friendly all the time. A regular favorite for me.

I dine here yesterday for the first time amd I am in love. Theres nowhere in the area that gives you home fries with your breakfast sandwich. I also ordered the fried ore os and everything was amazing! This will be my go to spot on my way to work!

Excellent food, amazing service. I have never walked away from ASC hungry or disappointed. Coffee is great and free refills. There tends to be a long wait on weekend brunch times but its worth waiting for and they are remarkably quick about cleaning tables to get more customers in.

Food was subpar. It appeared that the entire establishment was being run by kids under 18. It was FREEZING, only two small space heaters running. Server greeted us by saying I guess Ill take your order. Ordered traditional eggs benedict with extra hollandaise, she tried to tell us the tiny bit on top was extra, then said I guess I can bring out more. Brought two small containers of COLD hollandaise. When we asked for it to be heated, she said let me check. Brought it back out, it was completely separated and looked like cottage cheese. Sausage links are obviously dropped into a fryer and are saturated with grease. Not once were we asked how things were. We would have gladly given her an opportunity to fix the numerous issues. Not even the cashier asked how everything was. I give 1 star, instead of zero, because the food came out relatively quickly.

Lets start with the 2 stars.. 1 for them having food like they advertise. 1 for the food not taking forever to come out. That would be the only good things to say about this place. It is run by kids. And the food shows that. Bacon was burnt. I asked for extra hollandaise.. it came cold in a tiny plastic container. I asked for it to be warmed and that was a horrible mistake. It came back obviously microwaved and coagulated so badly I couldnt imagine actually eating it. I would have told her about it except she never came back to ask how everything was. Not even once.Now lets touch on the temperature inside the cafe. It is 31° outside. It was probably 50° inside. I had to put my coat back on while I ate. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. Save yourself the aggravation and just go to Nudys around the corner. Its worth the wait!
