Excellent service. Needed to get my glasses fixed and it was quick and efficient; I was in and out within 10 minutes. The owner Rich was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

I highly recommend this place ! I brought a German made sunglasses that needed to be snatch back together and they fixed in minutes. Very professional and super friendly!

July 9th: I chose to bring my Gucci frames here for repair after reading the rave reviews. The owner greeted me nicely and was personable. He examed my bent frame arm and seemed unsure if he would be able to fix them. After further examination he confidently informed me he could fix them by the next day. I called on the next day to see when I could pick them up and the women who works with him did not have a friendly tone. She informed me they were not ready. She said they should be ready on Friday. I called on Friday and they confirmed my frames were ready for pick up. When I arrived and examed my frames I was very disappointed. The original hinge was gold. They removed it completely and replaced it with a silver hinge. The entire area of repair was poorly fixed. Upon sharing my concerns with the women employee she simply stared at me as if to say what do you expect me to do. The original cost of repair was $35 so she shrugged her shoulders and said it would be $20. I was so upset to say anything else that I just paid and left. I took a look at the frames once more when I got to my car, and felt the work done was unacceptable. I went back to share my concerns and the owner who said thats the best he could do. Ruining my frames was the best he could do. I informed him I came to him with the hope he would repair my frames to look the same, and that if he was unable to do so, at any point he should have reached out to go over my options. Repairing them to his standards was quite unprofessional. He quickly became dismissive and said he would refund me the $20. That was the least of my worries. These frames have a sentimental value for me. $20 and their dimissive and unprofessional way of dealing with this situation was not the solution.Work with them at your own risk!Update October 9th: my frames broke at the site they fixed . Completely irreparable

My partner brought my Raybans in for a repair and he said the service was amazing! The glasses were fixed instantly and I am so happy with them!! Super friendly and definitely recommend to anyone.

In my 35 years of wearing glasses, this was absolutely the best individualized service and outcome I have ever had from an eyeglass professional. Pricing was competitive with the large chains and turnaround time was lightening fast. I will never go anywhere else again!!!

Main Line Optical is phenomenal! Excellent customer service and a very large selection of children and adult glasses. We took our toddler there for her first pair of glasses - Rich and Rani were welcoming, very knowledgeable, put her immediately at ease, and spent a lot of time making sure she found the perfect pair.

My glasses were bent badly out of shape due to an accident and Rich fixed them with great expertise. His professional approach and concern for his clients vision was extraordinary! His knowledge and passion for his profession are remarkable and result in excellent eye care.

I stepped on and broke the frame of my glasses. Called multiple places and all of them said it would be $60 and that I’d need a whole new frame also that i needed an appointment. I called Rich from mainline optical he said i could drop them off and he’d fix them same day. He was so nice and welcoming and even was able to save my frames! I was pretty sad when I found out my 9 month old daughter needed glasses. On recommendation of a friend, I called Main Line Optical and spoke with Ronnie. I made an appointment and she had my daughter fitted in the cutest glasses ever. I can’t get over how adorable she looks! They were so kind, flexible and understanding. Totally worth the drive from the city and I will be taking her back there whenever her rx needs an update! This type of personal care is hard to come by these days!

Wonderful service! Rich was fantastic! Brand new pair of brand name sunglasses broke, purchased else where during the shutdown. Rich fix them on the spot (with call a head appointment time for same day - TY Covid) and I’m back to wearing them for the first time in months. My old glasses were in bad shape and finally broke. During the pandemic, I was afraid to see my old eye doc who didnt seem to take things seriously. Roni was very kind about my concerns. She wore a cloth mask during my visit, and made sure things were sanitized. I appreciate the quality care, I love my new glasses and appreciate your attentive and friendly service during this scary time.

Unbelievable, truly. My wife came here after we were burned by chain stores. Again, nothing the stores did were necessarily wrong (okay, maybe the lens were not crafted right around the bezel),but nothing right. We decided to cut our losses and come here. Boy we should have earlier. 38 years in business, and it shows. Excellent service. Owner brought over a cool toy for our toddler. The lady helping us was professional and showed us what it means to have a professional who knows a lot. She got to showing us glasses. Every pick my wife loved. And in the meantime they fixed our old glasses (I mean, isnt that bad business? Maybe we wont need to buy glasses!) But they were awesome, fast and to the point (without feeling rushed), and the price was excellent. Much lower than we thought luxury service would cost. If we ever move out of the area, we will miss this place. We wont go anywhere else, if we can come here.

Besides the fact that the glasses I bought here have lasted for years now (no other pair from other shops has ever lasted more than six months, as I can be a bit clumsy), the people who work here are just wonderful. More than once I have walked in with some obscure question about an optical problem, and the employees (and Rich, the owner) have always been extraordinarily generous with their time and expertise. These people truly care about their customers and about people in general, and its an aura that you can see the moment you walk in - whether you have great eyesight or not ;-)

Mainline Optical provides phenomenally good service and has a great selection of beautiful frames. I have bought glasses from them for many years, but what has led me to finally write a review is that I accidentally broke a pair of glasses twice, and they replaced those glasses twice without charging me anything. I also should say that over the years I have had experts analyze my eyes and prescribe glasses that I ordered from Main Line which did not turn out to work very well and Rich has figured out what was wrong and replaced lenses, again for no cost. In other words, they stand behind their products better than any other business of any sort which I have encountered.

I drove 51 miles in the rain to get here based on awesome reviews. My 5 year-old daughter needed glasses. Local places along the Jersey Shore had a few dozen frames for kids...Mainline Optical had 700 pairs of kids frames. Other places tried to sell me poor fitting frames telling me, Shell grow into them. Mainline Optical worked with my daughter to find more than 10 colorful and stylish frames she liked. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses for my girl that fit perfectly, were made while we waited...in less than an hour.

Went in to have my daughters glasses fixed-nose cushion fell off. Fixed it in minutes with a smile and no charge. Will be back for future purchase and eye care needs......the gentleman who helped me was handsome too, lol. 😆

I have a complicated prescription. After all other places told me that it will take 10 days to make my glasses and I shouldnt bother trying to find a place that would do it faster, Mainline Optical had it done in less than 24 hours. They did a perfect job, too.The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I dont see myself going to any other place ever again!

I stopped in the other day with my father to get his glasses fixed. The owner, Richard, greeted us and was extremely friendly and helpful. He fixed my fathers glasses while we waited and even took the time to adjust my glasses that werent even purchased there.This business clearly cares about their customers, something that has been lost in society lately. I walked in, in a panic because I had broken my only pair of glasses and after being treated rudely at another optical shop I was floored by how gracious, polite, and willing to help the staff were. They were so kind and accommodating and even though it was a tough repair, they came up with a creative solution & I walked out with my glasses fixed.

I had a wonderful experience at Main Line Optical. My wife is very hard on glasses and they constantly need adjustment and repair. In my immediate neighborhood, the opticians told me that the frames needed to be replaced. I went to Main Line Optical and they were able to repair the frames at a very reasonable charge an in an expeditious manner. The proprietor is truly an expert in his field and very friendly. I plan to purchase all of my eyewear at this store.

Stopped in yesterday to have my glasses adjusted (not even a pair purchased from them), and the owner was warm and friendly and totally willing to take twenty minutes out of his day to help refit my glasses perfectly and chat with me. What a wonderful experience with a fantastic local business owner. I wil absolutely be back next time I need glasses!

Super great optical place. Richard the owner is extremely customer service oriented. I needed repair on my nose pad and stems that my dogged chewed on. He fixed 2 glasses for me, I thought I had to throw my favorite glasses away! They came out as good as when I had first bought them and he wouldnt charge me for his 30 minute service and replacement pieces. I would definitely recommend A+++

This is a wonderful place. I called ahead of time to confirm they could put a new screw in my sunglasses. Well take care of you - no problem. When I walked in, he smiled at me and took my sunglasses without a word (as he was talking to other customers), and returned them in perfect working condition - in less than five minutes! He assured me there was no charge, and that was that. If only everything in life went as smoothly and pleasantly as my trip to Mainline Optical! A true day-maker.

This is the most extraordinary optical store. I have purchased several pairs of glasses there and have been highly impressed with the service. But today, after my glasses were over a year old, i broke a piece of the frame. When Rich told me they were not fixable, i hoped that he could order me another frame and figured that it could cost a few hundred dollars. Imagine my surprise when he said there was no charge. If the company wouldnt make good on them, he said, he would absorb the cost. You cannot get better service, experience and competitive prices than Mainline Optical. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Amazing service. My son broke his glasses yesterday which we purchased here last September - because they are closed Mondays I went somewhere else last night to get a quick fix - only to walk out because they provided no help, service or selection. I am back at Main Line Optical today and they are fixing the glasses. Can you believe? Instead of just rushing to sell me a new pair - they are fixing the old to get us through until he gets a checkup and new prescription. They have guaranteed my return business again and again. After years of bouncing around with eye experts, surgeons, opthamologists, and other doctors, with no success at easing severe eye fatigue, Dr. Roger Tsai took the time to assess my problems, ensure that he would solve them, and referred me to Main LIne Optical.Luckily for me, Richard Boehm took Dr. Tsais recommendations as a personal cause. He invested the years he had spent studying prisms in my several glasses, and has basically allowed me to read and play the piano for more than ten minutes without requiring a nap.Richs dedication, interest, and willingness to explain the details of my complex prescriptions were unique, and I feel so lucky to have found him. If you have any need for someone who is an expert, who will care about your needs, and who will take care of you gracefully, dont fool around, head immediately to Main Line Optical and see Rich!

I can’t say enough about the excellent service I got from Rich who is the owner. He is totally customer oriented and highly skilled. His staff is very friendly and share his vision for customer satisfaction. When I began searching for my ideal frame I wanted a flexible frame with no frame on the bottom of the lens and magnetic sunglasses and visited several local opticians and came up empty. An internet search led me to the Flexon 806 mag set frames. Upon searching Flexon’s site for a local optician I came across Main Line Optical. When I met Rich he said he would order the frames at no obligation and there was absolutely no sales pressure. Two days later they were in and I loved them and went forward with the purchase. The lens needed to be tweaked slightly and Rich has done everything in his power to make these perfect for me. I will never go anywhere else.
