Since getting my cataract surgery (at a different eye dr office), I have had a lot of difficulty being able to see out of progressive lenses (which I had worn for years with no problems prior to having cataract surgery). I came to Pearle Vision back in April 2021 to see if they would be able to better solve the issue I was having with my new lenses (from old eye doctor office). I mostly worked with Tina, but the other gentlemen at this office are also very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.On my first visit, Tina fit me into their schedule and worked with me to research other lens possibilities. We rechecked everything the other doctors office had done. She made phone calls and researched best possible progressive. We picked a progressive lens with widest possible channel of vision and during that purchase, Tina went above and beyond to get me the best pricing and make sure we were utilizing my insurance ... when discovered other office used this supplement insurance w/o my permission, Tina offered me a discount... again, always going above and beyond to be helpful.Today I stopped into Pearle Vision again. While the prescription I got in April serves me well out in the world, it still has a bit of a narrow vertical line of vision that gets in the way of my toggling between my art (aka reading prescription) and my computer (like arms length distance vision), so I wanted a pair of at-home glasses that better allows me to move between detailed work on my desk and my computer screen and bifocals with full-width of vision on my lenses seems the best fit. Again, Tina checked and double-checked and asked me clarifying questions and helped me get what I needed. While I was pulling out my cc to pay, she noticed my medical insurance (not my supplemental eye insurance) and she notified me I might have discounts on my medical policy ... I had NO idea!! She was right! So, she saved me $$$!!! Had she not been proactive in checking my medical insurance, she was going to give me a discount (since other office misused my supplemental policy).Finally, in my trial and error of figuring out how to see post-cataract, I quickly visited with Dr. Hauler to reconfirm my prescription from the other office. He was also friendly, personable and knowledgeable while taking care to help me address my needs. I will be going to this office for all future eye care needs and cant recommend highly enough this eye care office and its entire staff, but especially Tina.
The team at Peale Vision takes customer service to the next level. Wonderful people who are very good at making you feel relaxed and they also have a great inventory of glasses.
Both my daughter and I had appointments here with each doctor. We loved them both. Very kind, attentive and thorough. The staff in the eye glass shop were amazing as well. They went above and beyond for us! My daughter (age 6) is picky with everything and her first pair of glasses were no different. Tina ordered her a few pairs in her small size to try on, even after we thought we were set on one pair. They were great! I cant say enough positive things about everyone who works here.
I’ve been using Pearle Vision at Suburban Square for 10 years and I have never been disappointed. I feel like family whenever I go there. Everyone there is professional and courteous to each other and the customers!!

I came here today for an overdue eye exams, as a first timer in the shop, I felt welcome and the staff were very helpful in many ways. The optician, Dr. Jack Hauler was very helpful and informative!After my brief and very precise eye exam, I was led to the front of the shop to find my glasses. The lady in the counter was extremely helpful and brought different kind of glasses that fits me nicely. She explained the best frame type that fits my needs. Extremely happy and will definitely come back, recommend this place to others.
Been going here for a couple of years. Doctors are good and professional. Tina the manager is awesome and proactive in helping solve some of the customization challenges I’ve had.
Went in as a new patient for my first eye exam in FOREVER a couple of weeks ago. The staff at the Ardmore location were very welcoming and took my temperature upon arrival. They control the number of people allowed in the store/waiting area so I never felt crowded or unsafe. Dr. Hauler was very friendly and thorough and was able to write me updated prescriptions for contacts and glasses within 15 minutes. He answered any questions I had and then we chatted for a bit about running (he and I both enjoy distance running).After the exam, I left with one box of contacts and was able to order more to be picked up a week later. I received a text when the contacts were ready and was able to have them handed to me at the door when I arrived to pick them up. If youre looking for a new eye care specialist, I would highly recommend Pearle Ardmore as the place to go.

I’ve been going here every year to pick out new glasses. Drove here to pick something out, but due to the pandemic the store was only allowing customers to enter by appointment only for all services. This wasn’t specified on the website, which only had appointments for vision tests. Unknowingly, I was confronted by a woman with a terrible attitude that shut and locked the door in my face. She didn’t offer me any appointment times or options. Guess you lost a long time customer today.
There was an error with my lenses and they fixed it immediately and went above and beyond to fix the error.
I had a very good experience with my eye exam and selecting frames. I picked up my glasses yesterday and they are the best prescription Ive had so far. All good, no complaints.

Great experience. Ive had several pair of glasses purchased from Warby Parker - comparatively, the cost is the same but Pearles glasses are much higher quality. I bought my last pair at Pearle and Ill buy the next there too.And...Ive taken my Warbys in to get them fitted and the Pearle folks are always willing to help without a charge.
Customer service sucked. No one seemed to want to help me. There was a guy at one table and a girl at another and a guy standing in the doorway. I was greeted with a hello can I help you and are you using insurance. I said I wanted glasses and could use my insurance. I asked about specials...crickets until the guy in the doorway said no. I saw a tv ad with 40% off a second pair but whatever. After trying on a few pairs without assistance. I left. Guess my business wasnt needed. I wont be going back there again.
Dr. Hauler is great. Very friendly, willing to answer any questions, and appts. are a breeze! Been going there the past two years and have enjoyed my time with them. Dont see a need too change any time soon. Nothing negative to report. Just to keep up the good work! Its been a pleasure and I invite others and definitely recommend him and the office for anyones vision care needs.
Nice frames, but probably the worst pair of progressive lenses Ive ever owned. Theyre nice people but unfortunately couldnt get my prescription right.
