Besides prices going up and up I love this Jewel. The staff is extremely friendly. Its normally very clean unless theyre switching stock. And only once have I not been able to find what I needed.

Well designed store and carries nearly everything youre looking for. Pricey for the experience and value ($32 for a small fruit platter...? Its just the basic fruits..). I prefer other options but works in a pinch

I placed an online pick up order at this location due to its convenience to where I was going to be today. I checked in via the app upon arrival and was the ONLY car for a solid 3-4 minutes after check-in. No order had arrived in this time, but the app says to give about 5 minutes so I continued to wait a couple more minutes. After about 10 minutes, I called and was met with an attitude saying someone was on their way out with my order presently. Over another 4 minutes elapsed before my order arrived. I was then once again met with someone with attitude who only checked my name, not the confirmation code from the app and did not tell me that 2 of the same kitten were out of stock. Now that information is in the receipt email but you have to scroll down to see it, whereas I only clicked the check-in button. For the last 1.5 years showing that grocery pickup is a major facet in life now, Jewel needs to up their game. And they need to up their employee attitudes. And there is no email or link in the receipt email to give feedback directly to the store so here it is on Google for all to see.

Very good Jewel-Osco location. The parking lot is a bit tight, the store is laid out well I suppose, but my main hangup about going here is the staff. My only positive experiences has been the produce department and the cashiers are always a pleasure to speak to.

Jewel was a good chain years ago. Sadly, not anymore. This location is short staffed with only two checkouts open (even during a busy Saturday morning) and you have to bag your own groceries. I wont even get into the rude staff at the meat counter. Well just chalk that up to they were having a bad day.

A bit of a smaller jewel bit well organized and had amazing staff that helped me find the products that I need.

The tall lady who helps the billing clerk by putting the billed items in covers seems to have bad temper, playing some bad humor. Lol..mind your business lady. You might be feeling bored doing that job for life. Sympathies for that. If you play rude humor, you will get one too.

I like the store because they help you to put the food and the car and they have good service to attend you good

Jewel isn’t the cheapest. However, i dont mind to pay the extra buck or two for quality. Bought a 4 pack of stonyfield organic yogurt last week for my 2 years old. Didnt think twice he ate one when i got home and this morning i checked and expiration date was july 31. Today is aug 22. Selling expired yogurt for childern is unacceptable and you just lost my business forever.

This Jewel-Osco store offers a full inventory of food and products, a helpful staff and friendly shopping atmosphere. There are always great sales and promotions. The parking lot always has security and assistance if needed.

People that work there are nice and friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell.

I needed to get a birthday cake at the last minute. I scored exactly what I was looking for. And bonus, the bakery staff stopped what they were doing to write a custom note for it. She was awesome and cheerful even on a busy Halloween afternoon!

Jewel in AH is wonderful place to shop. Staff is friend, sweet and takes pride in their store. Store is very clean, shelves stocked & organized.

We had a party for my Dads 90th, and both the deli and bakery hit it out of the park. With Covid, they were understanding and took all precautions to make sure everything was individually wrapped. Audry in the Deli Dept. helped a ton and is great to work with. Will use them again for our next party. Thank you Jewel!!

Terrible online service!Amazon, Walmart and others you can set up an account and then ship too another personJewel- you can only ship to yourself!So I set up account using recipient address but my email, phone and credit cardWhen I ordered all items were available.I chose NOT to allow substitutions because some people prefer BRANDS! I didnt want them to make substitutions of itemsWhen they shipped the order - 4 items all of a sudden NOT IN STOCK!Never again

It has quality and a good selection of food and drink

Pick up was pretty good. Should have not marked no substitutions... there was no cake for the birthday party so had to run in for cake and ice cream sat in 95+ degree car while we went in.

I called before visiting and Jill from customer service made sure that I was taken care of ❤She went the extra mile so my trip would not be wasted!Thanks again Jill!

Great selection, cashier not so pleasing. I go there often. Month ago went in to buy toilet paper they did not have limit information on the shelf. so I picked up two and limit was one, I was chastised at the register.

Great quality meat and fish. Awesome spices. Great variety of veggies and fruits. Super friendly staff.

This store is very bad a home delivery specially when they are using a third party, a lot of times the orders are incomplete and the employees do not want to assist with the delivery they will get upset if you tell them you are there to pick up an order and if you dare to ask them even once if that completes the order... not fair for the customers waiting at home for their groceries a terrible experience all together

Older location, but Very Nice... clean, easy parking lot entrances and with good access to both Rand Rd and Palatine Rd.. both these are very busy roads... the store itself is very clean, well stocked and well staffed... all these are so important these days when so many places are cutting service! This Jewel is easy to miss because its such a busy intersection, but I think this location is worth visiting.

They have almost everything you need and always had toilet paper and paper towels. I recently got some incredible watermelon at a great price! I love all the drink choices and osco carrys china glaze nail polishes also sinful polishes which is a hard find. Easy in she out parking.

Jwas ok except for the guy collecting carts who told me that I need to put my mask on before I even got out of my car? Who made him Mask Police?

Nice store with a decent selection and pretty clean, but overpriced. Meijers, Aldis, and Woodmans will provide you more for your money.

Whenever you call this place to pick up your Drive Up & Go order, its usually a crabbier older aged woman who answers like you are bothering her. When she comes out, shes noticably upset the entire time.

The manager who manages the deliveries at this store is very unprofessional, she could not provide her name which is very unethical customer service, if employees have name tags why would you deny your name, very smart Susan sue Susie whatever your name is ... way to ruin people’s day I hope the customer I needed to deliver their groceries calles and complains you all always mess up orders or miss items... the Manager for today sucks get rid of her and leave the guys in charge they at least treat people better disgusting !!!!!

This is for their pharmacy. Went for flu shot. Not a single customer but me. Did paperwork, and then waited over 15 minutes. Watched pharmacist - 1 phone call and staring at her computer. A customer does a pick up and pharmacist happily goes to them, all the while Im sitting... waiting. Finally left, no shot. Terrible experience by staff who care about themselves. Didnt care I was diabetic and shot is protection for me. Other Jewel pharmacies are fantastic. Not this one. Avoid!!

Great service and the store is always clean

I go in with my neighbor, we were told by the cashier that we could not pay at the same register because we both had eggs. We were paying with two different credit cards and had two different carts, but the staff made us go back to the end of the line for my neighbor to pay for her eggs. I met the manager on duty and she seemed scared of the cashier.Maybe the cashier should be the manager, she had more control

This review is not of the store, but of the online ordering system. it was my first time trying to place my order online. i have a long list of items to buy. i got almost halfway through it, and had to leave my desk for about 10 to 15 minutes. when i came back, the order was still intact, and i continued adding things. then i was called away from my desk again, for only 5 or 10 minutes. this time, when i came back, my order was completely gone. i am so angry, i just got the hang of it and this took me a long time. now i have to start it over again. nowhere on the site does it say it will throw your order out. other stores hold it for 24 hours or more, wth, why wont jewel? I think ill call jewel corporate offices tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind!

The deli counter is wonderful, Id give the deli counter a five star review by itself b/c the people who work behind it are so knowledgeable about what theyre serving! Other then that the fruit and veggies are almost always moldy and WAY overpriced, which is what most things are at this jewel... OVERPRICED! There are plenty of stores nearby that you will find better deals and qualities at!

The best mid-priced grocery store in the area. Produce is usually very fresh with good variety. Big store with plenty of food and alcohol choices and good prices. Cashiers are generally quick and friendly, plus they have self-checkout if youre in a hurry and/or dont need/want help bagging. They also have a very good fresh flower section. I buy all of my holiday flowers for my wife there, and shes always happy with them. 😃

Not my usual jewel....very nice staff. Those stocking shelves greeted me and asked if i needed help finding anything. Cashier....super nice. AND...it is Monoploly time again.

Overly Expensive unless you hit a sale. Not particularly careful about COVID-19 but the employees do wear their mask and wear them properly

Just another jewel. I honestly cant tell them apart anymore. Same products slightly different prices. Same people slightly different faces. I recommend checking out more local stores for a different selection. There are plenty of options available. But if you are a creature of habit then these stores suffice.

This place is very useful to shop veggies and groceries if you prefer a time after 9pm when most of the stores are closed since they are open till 1 am on most days. The salad collections at the very entrance at good prices are very catchy! Truly loved the liquor section with wide varieties and many items on sale

Expensive, bad produce, terrible parking lot. Always long lines at the checkout. I do like some of the snacks selection. Im always surprised at the checkout what my bill is. Its always more than I expected. Prefer other grocery stores. Its just in a good location so if I need a quick grocery trip, its convenient.

We where masks, stay 6ft apart, one way isles, OVER KILL.. you take the chairs away from the front of store!!!!Really...I shop with my wife every week, when I can’t walk any longer I sit in front and wait for her. NO CHAIRS !!!!Thanks I’ll find another store. My son tells me that Marianos has a couple places to sit up front. New place for us to shop.

Over-priced produce and fresh ingredients considering the density of quality competition in the area. I only shop here if absolutely necessary.

Consistently one of the worst Jewels I have ever been to. Enough so to motivate me to write a Google review for a Jewel.Poor selection and completely under staffed.Rarely has more than 3 cash registers open, even during peak shopping hours. Forget about making it a quick trip anytime between 1130-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Goes double for the day before a major holiday.Also, I hope you like bagging your own groceries. 85% of the time, you will not have a bag person in your lane.Lastly, the selection from their chefs kitchen is subpar at best compared to other locations.Avoid.

Never had a problem until today. One lady with a rude attitude running the self checkout was acting like.. well let’s just say a not nice person. The boy in front of me accidentally tipped over a carton ofJuice and she was a complete (insert word here) and he even offered toClean it all up. All she has to do is help a few people and sweep.she cannot do it with out bs on her breathe. JEWEL OSCO PLEASE REMOVE HER!

This jewel is always very well stocked and always find what I need. All the people who work here are very friendly and eager to help. I specially like it when they start saying gobble gobble and jingle jingle during the holidays. Oh and they deliver groceries to your home now if you order online.

Their produce is terrible! Often it is rotting on the shelf. Their refrigerators are ancient. I had to point out a broken unit filled with warm lunchmeat. Not even cool.. Absolutely warm.I also hate the fact you must buy pop in multiples of 4 to receive the “sale” price. But that is a corporate policy.I think this particular store is run down.I wish there was a Mariano’s closer to me.

Only 1 person working the fish market. 4 people ahead of me and at no time did any other butcher or counter person come to help. I asked the very nice man why he didnt have help and he stated they didnt show up. Really Jewel!!
