I had an amazing experience at this store! I bought a lot of political merchandise and postcards! The owner was helpful, kind, and pleasant. We had a great conversation! This place is truly a hidden gem, it has been in business 49 years and the gentlemen has done a tremendous job with this business. I’ll be back!

I had passport photos done here recently, and they came out great. The owner (and photographer) is very kind and pleasant to work with.

Ruined my film in development and tried to blame it on my camera. Had my developed film shown to two other camera stores and they agreed that this guy doesn’t know what he is doing. Also twice as expensive as competitors and can’t do online image transferring with digital scans. Don’t wast your time here and go to one of the other many great camera stores in the DMV.

Just dont west your Money going to this place! So unprofessional.Charging you $16 for two passport photo and this is what i had to do with mine.

One of the only places in crystal city that will do notary on ANY document (wills, power of attorney, etc) - banks don’t do these kind of documents anymore! The gentleman / owner is nice and pleasant. Honestly who does one hour photo anymore though? Quite amazing businesses like this stay afloat. But I come here for all my notary needs!

This place is a great shop. I had an old photo that I could barely see. It was my memory of my mother when she died in Pakistan. The kind old gentlemen helped me right away and helped me get it framed. I also needed a passport photo and he fixed it right away. He is great with this type of technology. I would recommend this place 10/10 times. It is so helpful.

Personal service by the longtime owner is consistently wonderful; hes fast and extremely helpful. Im so happy this store has survived the digital age.

I too had a horrible experience getting my passport photo taken here today. Do yourself a favor and listen to all the reviewers and go somewhere else. You deserve better!

This place is useless. Dont get your photos done here. They have a big neon sign in the back saying ONE HOUR PHOTO. Two DAYS later and my pictures arent even back in the store yet. I dont even need prints! Just a CD! Get your photos developed elsewhere.

I went in to Metro Camera Center to get a passport photo. When I took it to the post office they measured it and said it was not the correct size. I went back to Metro Camera Center to ask for a refund, and the store manager said he could only give me store credit. That is fine, except he was rude and suggested that the only reason I came back was because I did not like the passport photo. I informed him that the post office measured it and said the size was not correct and he proceeded to argue with me. If you are getting a passport photo taken, just do it at the post office. If you need any other camera supplies, there are many other stores who treat their customers better.

Do not I repeat do not come to this establishment for any type of photos especially passport photos. The gentleman that runs this establishment could care less about quality pictures and will not give you a refund even if the passport agency tells you that you cannot use the pictures that he takes. I just wasted $15 for pictures that I will have to use as a collage. Your best bet is to go to a CVS or Walgreens for Quality passport pictures.

Very informal for passport photos. Their attitude is horrible. She ask me to leave for dissatisfying with the unofficial passport photo she took. And it is overpriced, $15 !!! I can get a much better photo in DC at that price.

Stay away!!! They took lousy passport pictures. REALLY LOW QUALITY! This place is a hoax. And they are not willing to retake or give you refund.
