If I could write it zero Stars I would in a heartbeat! The two people that I know for certain that were working there have zero customer service skills! The lady was more concerned about being propped up on the wall and staring at me rather than trying to help me make a selection on the wigs. There was another lady in there at the same time as me trying to get extensions and nobody even bothered speaking to her either. This is the second time I have been in there and I will never be back and I have never purchased anything from them and will not! if you cant help your customers you dont need to be in the customer service industry!

People watch you like a dog. (Only purchased one item) pay for the item then the sensor goes off at the door. Gentleman then says oh... I thought took the sensor off. Wont return. This was on purpose.

I Whitney in here to purchase some temporary hair dye it is like one of those Popular wig stores, run by Asians. They have a Lotta merchandise crammed in a small place. The prices are very good it is pretty clean. I might go back.

Two stars because of the products. I was followed around the store. And after I paid for my things, the detector went off as I was walking out. He took my purse and passed it through the detector, no sound, I walked through, no sound. Then he pulled my purse behind the counter where I could not see him, I had to walk around so I could see what he was doing with my purse. He told me I was fine. I walked though, no sound! They are very rude and I will never go in there again! They followed me around the whole store so they would know if I had anything. American Beauty is across the street!

I wished I could give them no stars. Went to this location on 1/24 and was followed the whole time I was in the store. Let me say this yes people do steal, but if you treat every black or brown person that comes in your establishment like a criminal you will lose business. The Asian man followed me the whole time. I will never return here, black or brown ladies please take your business to Bpolished Beauty Supply at 6407 S Cooper St Arlington 76001 black owned and operated! Stop going to these people they want our money, but don’t won’t us to shop peacefully as if they label us and stereotype our people. I will never again in life come here. This was the last time.

They have good stuff for less price

They have good products and prices but it feels uncomfortable being in there when they start to follow me the minute I walk in, I always feel like I need to stay somewhere visible so they know Im not going to steal a one dollar headband 🙄

Need more blonde selections, but thats my only complaint. The employees were kind and they offer good prices. We were also followed around the store, were white, but its a small business, they expect people to steal and you cant let it bother you.

Uptown is a small well maintained beauty barber supply. Like many small businesses, the thought of theft is prominent so do not be offended if you are being watched or feel like you are being watched. Staff is friendly. Prices somewhat high

This establishment has a great variety. The ONLY thing that bothers me is that the employees follow you around the store and it makes me feel like they intend for me to steal. I dont know if this is a cultural flaw on their behalf or if their experiences motivate them to act in this manner.

I will start by saying that Im only giving two stars because of their good product selection. However, after being followed around by one of the men, I will not be returning. I was really hoping this beauty supply wasnt going to be one of those stores that profile and follow you but I was disappointed. I guess the big security monitors arent enough but they have to walk around and follow you down aisles WITHOUT ASKING TO HELP YOU. I wanted to put my things down and leave but I just left church and was in a good mood. After noticing him following me I just started walking from aisle to aisle just for the hell of it. Then when I got tired of that and began to walk towards the register, he swiveled and headed back to the register area 😔. I will continue my search for a beauty supply store that isnt pathetic and unwoke. They do this because they feel that we dont have a choice and will continue to shop there. No maam and no sir, not today.
