Terrible manager. We walked in and bought some drinks and some snacks prior to the Arnold parade starting and my 4 yo had to use the restroom. I asked for the key and the big guy/manager lied to my face and said they had lost the keys. As we were walking out the lady behind the register took out the bathroom keys and said she was going to go use the bathroom. Very rude and disrespectful. I would have appreciated the honesty if they had just said they closed it due to the parade.

Small but clean, nice employees...I have to say goodbye 😞, it has been brought to my attention that if I was done shopping and was handing the clerk my money when the woman that I divorced walks in with our without my 7th child (I love you Jason) she calls that stalking 😞

For a DG store in Arnold they are pretty good! Clean, well stocked with everything easy to find and very friendly! I go in all the time and its always great!

Dollar general is the best and my favorite store Mama Teresa Sam are great workers and has done as a support a lot for us thank you to them that work at the jeffco by the meramec bridge behind gulf station is the very best Dollar general in store in my convenient in Arnold my name is John Rollman

Very nice looking, reasonably priced furniture in a pinch they have a wide variety of necessities on a budget and are great for seasonal supplies.

Since being remodeled the selection and service has improved. The shelves are better stocked as well. Now when I go into the store looking for an item I can expect to find it. Before the remodel it was hot or miss if they would have the items. My only complaint is that the staging is very low usually only one person for the store so I have to wait a few min at the front of the store to be checked out.

You are in Jefferson county mask are optional. But yet they treat you like a POS and threaten to call the cops on you for the big crime of going mask-less. Let’s just say I won’t be doing business with DG on Jeffco.

Most of the employees here are nice, but 2 of them, the short haired girl and the bitter old man, should NOT be working with the public. I try hard to be nice, but both of these people seem to go out of their way to be as rude as possible. This has been my go to store for the past year, and I wont be back again.Seriously, does anyone know how to contact corporate. Theres a guy named Marcus working there now, and he threatened the customer in front of me. This is uncalled for. If I owned a store, if want to know my employees were behaving this way.

The store has been remodeled & looks nice. Great deals & they carry name brand foods. Always a friendly atmosphere & the staff is always around for service. I would definitely recommend for fast easy in & out shopping👍

Took a minute to get used to the newly remodeled store, wasnt a huge fan at first LOL but its growing on me 😉 my daughter and I were able to get in and out and find the items we needed quickly. Entire trip took about 15 minutes. Employee was friendly quick and seems knowledgeable of the store and the products :-)

Typical dollar general. I always surprised by the seasonal items they have. The store has a lot in it so it feels a little crowded and one of the items I went in for was out of stock. Thats the only reason it is a 4 star instead of 5.

Worse store i have ever dealt with. Staff is not friendly. Computer problems all the time. No cash back. No selling cigarettes because of computer.

Walked in, found exactly what i wanted. Quick checkout, pleasant cashier. I didnt like the fact that one worker was out getting carts while smoking. Some people like myself are allergic to cigarette smoke. And to have to walk through a cloud of smoke isnt healthy

What ever happened to good customer service standards? Remember when store employees would cheerfully greet a customer entering the store? As opposed to just looking at them while stuffing their face with chocolate and soda while forcefully grunting a careless salutation. Or, when a customer is exiting the store after making a purchase the employee would genuinely thank them for their business with a grateful farewell? As opposed to the customer thanking the employee for taking their money and the employee responding with a thoughtless, No problem. I mean seriously... With every market being completely oversaturated in competition, consumers can take their business anywhere and find the same products their looking for.So one would think that businesses would make excellent customer service standards a primary focus. Thats the only factor that differentiates a business and their competitors. The Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Aldis, etc. all have the exact same low price, mediocre quality items on their shelves all priced within pennies of each other. So what makes a customer go to Dollar General over Dollar Tree over Aldis over Family Dollar?? Great customer service.Yet nowadays it seems that theres less and less emphasis on the idea of providing good sincere customer service . Which is apparent at this location because the parking lot was empty and there was only one other person in the store. I was worried thst the store was closed upon arriving. Nope! It was open. And after visiting I can now clearly see why the place was so desolate. Who wants to be grunted at when walking inside and then told it was no problem taking their money from them when leaving?!I must be old school because I always thought it should be the other way around... Where the employee thanked me for spending my money there. I could have easily chosen to go to Walmart right down the street. Which ultimately thats where I should have went. Even the self check-out machine has more personality and politeness than what I received from the PAID employee at this location. I wont be returning. Your idea of customer service should revolve around more than filling your face with peanut MnMs, mountain dew and then spitting it on the counter as you mumble No problem after I thank you for taking my money.

The employees are almost always on something. The hours posted online says theyre open until 9 when they actually close at 7. I only go in when I ABSOLUTELY have to.

I shopped there late on Christmas Eve and the store was clean and well stocked. I just got some v8 juice and pizza and ice cream but the place was pleasant and the cashier was nice and friendly.

Only thing I noticed the line took forever and the employees seem to follow me around.

This store is great. It is not busy and if you just need few things you can usually get them there and your in and out and they have actual cashiers that bag your items.

Generally has what I need. Very close to home, so convenient for the quick run without having to drive to WM or a grocery store. Not a stand alone store, so kinda small and a bit cluttered...but it serves my purposes!

Nice employees. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a friendly hello. Prices are ok .store is always a mess. Some shelves are empty on any given day while products are sitting on rolling carts waiting to be stocked. Products are not always on shelf either correct milar .so customers can get at that price if cheaper . You have to pay attention to the dates on packages due to expiration .there are anywhere from 1 to 5 people in line at any given time ..normally there is 2 employees up front behind counterLove shopping here. Friendly and close to home

Got fun holiday pjs for the family

Extremely dissatisfied with just about every dollar general. They discriminate if you carry a stylish larger purse. I have never been so uncomfortable shopping at a place in my life. I was literally stalked by an associate several times at different locations just because I have a larger purse. I fealt like I needed to dump my purse out before I left just to prove to them that nothing was in there, except my personal items. This is the only place Ive ever been discriminated at while shopping. Ridiculous, Im not sure that I will ever go back. I used to love shopping at Dollar General, not anymore and I sure dont recommend anyone to go there unless they dont use a purse.

I always find what need there but the manager of the store is very rude .I have asked her for things behind the cash register. She has turned her back to me as of to dismiss me. I do not understand how she got the job as a manager..

If you can find an employee, you may get mixed service. Sometimes theyre really nice and sometimes they look at you like how dare you speak to me!
