Very happy with our fireplace insert and installation. We had this done in October of 2020 so we could have an on-demand fire/heat option. I sure do miss having a wood-burning fireplace at times, but this proved to be exactly what we were hoping for. Something we could turn on while watching a show and turn off without fear of smoldering embers. The installation was super smooth and the guys cleaned up after themselves, which shouldnt be noteworthy, but it is! They sub-contracted the electrical, and he was great as well. It is clear that this is something they do regularly, including recurring collaboration with the sub-contracted electrician, so the whole crew was efficient in the installation. They were also very personable and helped to explain some of the installation steps and considerations. Overall, great job and we would do it again.Now the bad part, which is one project begets another project. ;)We added the TV and a self/custom-built mantle shelf...next up is new tile and bookshelves on either side of the fireplace. I cant help but to blame Fireside for these additional projects... ;)

I went in because my gas valve was broken. They told me they could not replace it and I needed to get an entire new fireplace! I did my own research and bought a new valve via Amazon. My fireplace works great with no thanks to this place. All they wanted was for me to buy a whole new unit... not the right way to do business.

SHAME ON YOU MANUFACTURER!!! I FEEL BAD FOR PEOPLE WHO FALL FOR THIS... I wouldnt give even 1star. I would never recommend dealing with this company. If you want to buy a new fireplace it ok to stick to this company. But if you are planning to get service through them or diagnostic done on stove its all a scam manufacturer just tells them to change things without knowing the issue.. Their guys have no clue about anything came in stood in house for 10 min left took $115 said theyll call back with what the issue is with the machine. They didnt even touch the stove, didnt even bother trying to turn on. Sent a quote to email telling us need almost $500 to fix it. Husband took main board out cleaned it installed it back and fireplace turned on. Shame on you guys!!!! Lieing to people taking money for nothing. I have pictures and videos as evidence.

We had a gas insert installed. The entire process of ordering, measuring and installing was so easy and every person we worked with was courteous and professional. There was a miscommunication about an inside vs. outside mount and it was handled quickly and easily. Their communication with us while waiting to have the new piece ordered and installed was great and happened quickly. The owner even called to check in after everything was completed to make sure we were happy. I really appreciate their desire to ensure everything was how we expected it to be. We love ournew fireplace!

Great experience. Live in Georgia but started Googling around for a Big Green Egg hinge replacement as I wanted to buy from a small business and not Amazon and none of our local shops carried during the quarantine. Somehow stumbled across them. Gave them a call to make sure they were still open and shipping. And was promptly greeted. The lady on the phone special ordered it for me, sold it to me at the price it was supposed to be listed at, and shipped it super quick. Even with the special order I had it in my hands back in Georgia in less than a week. Replaced everything today and Im back up and running with my egg. Very appreciative of this business doing all the small things right and ensuring I got taken care of in what I assume is a very stressful time for their business. Highly recommend.

They made new refractory panels for my fireplace. They made them from the wrong thickness (much thinner than the originals). When we went to install them, they didnt fit together. I explained the mistake on their part and they said they would refuse to remake them. They instead offered 2 tubes of fireproof caulk for the panel gaps. To no surprise, the caulk didnt hold up and the panels are junk.

We went to Arnold Stove and Fireplace to look into changing our old (30+ years) gas log fireplace into a gas insert. From the moment we walked in, we were treated so well by friendly staff. We were given very thorough details on what we would need to do, we were walked through each step and all of our questions were answered. We placed our order that same day. We knew we were ordering at a very busy time of year (in the fall) so even though we weren’t scheduled for installation for a couple of months, we were okay with that. They gave us a date for installation at that time. Per our request, they also came to our house to take exact measurements. They came to do the installation on the promised date at the exact promised time and in 2 short hours, the job was done! The installers were professional, very careful about making sure there was no mess and did an awesome job afterwards cleaning up. The fireplace looks great! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them!

We went to buy a fireplace that we seen on website.It was no longer available and we inquired why they gave us a different one ?The owner was not pleased that we wanted to make changes.We got the run around Pathetic customer service.But we had already paid in $14000...I wouldn’t recommend anyone to them.It was an expensive lesson learned.NEVER NEVER again......

My kids purchased a fireplace insert for me as a Christmas present. When I visited to pick out the actual insert, I was very impressed by their selection, friendliness and knowledge of the products. We scheduled the install, and it was completed as promised - they arrived right on time, made zero mess, completed on time and I was left with a beautiful fire in my fireplace :-) The installers were very nice and explained how everything worked. I highly recommend their products and services to everyone! Great job guys - I love my remote control too!

I went to 4 fireplace stores and Fireside was the best. They were very professional and knowledgeable about their product. They were very patient and was able to answer all of my questions. They do their own installs so I didnt have to find a 3rd party to do the install. Their price was good and fair.I was able to make the purchase over the phone after giving the final decision a few days. The week prior of installation, they gave me a call for a reminder. They showed up the morning they said and the installers were very friendly and courteous. They treated us with respect and cleaned up after their work. The fireplace is working fine and looks great.I would highly recommend them my friends.

This was my first encounter but a very pleasant and comfortable one. I went there to gain info on a replacement gas fireplace for my 20+ year old original. The rep listened well then responded with good ideas and choices. Todays mission was accomplished. I know I feel comfortable with that company.

I had another place clean my chimney and they told me the back refractory panel was cracked on my fireplace and that a new one was $1,000. My best friend runs a fireplace store out of town so I called him, he said it was $1,000 for kit from manufacturer because you had to buy all three panels even if you only needed one. He said there were a lot of aftermarket refractory panels available and suggested I call Arnold Stove, they fixed it for $238 total! Highly recommend! Arnold Stove actually told me they could have fixed the crack for even less money but I went ahead and replaced it! Nice to find a customer friendly business!

I needed some insulation for the inside of my wood stove these guys had it.Its a new store with top of the line stuff so you cant go wrong with it.There is a huge show room with lots of things to look at. I think I even saw a Scan wood stove if Im not mistaken.They sell green eggs and all the stuff for grilling food etc etc.These guys do installations and will do rehab on old stuff as well.Really a 5-star place but I guess I give it 4 stars cuz it seems a little pricey.

Hahaha....the service here was NOT good. Was actually horrible! If I could rate this ZERO stars, I would.My husband and I were looking to get a new fireplace. The sales person was not very friendly and treated our coming in to the store as a bother and the salesperson even helped another person while we were asking questions.....we had CASH money, but probably because we were not dressed to appear that we had money, we did not get the service.....but Fireside did NOT get our money/sale either!! Your loss, Fireside. Since you did not have time for us, we decided to go somewhere that at least have us the time and consideration and knowledge of the product! Sorry that we came in tired, after a day of painting our new house and had not changed our paint clothes and looked low class to you! Never judge a book by its cover!!Oh, and the place we ended up doing business with got more business from us too....we spent over $9,000.00........We have made sure to NOT give your name out as a place to go, unless they look rich.We are in the market for some other things you sell, but feel it is a waste of our time, so no worries, we wont be in to your store......you might need to move to Ladue for the type of people you all seem to want to cater to.

Fireside had a very nice and professional young man come to our house to install a ventless insert, the job was done in a very timely manner and Mike was very good about putting items back in place. Mike removed the existing insert and took it with him he was neat while doing his job and called his office to find out a answer to a question we had. We would recommend this company to any and all our friends.

I needed a piece of caramic glass for our pellet stove. They cut the glass, got it the same day at a reasonable price. Great service would recommend them for any service.

What an amazing store! You can really get lost in here when working on a project, or just looking for ideas. The displays are beautiful, and youll always find something new the next time you stop in. My husband surprised me with an electric fireplace for our Master Bedroom and its the perfect addition to our home. Their service team is great, too! My parents and sister both own a home with a wood burning fireplace, and every year they have Arnold Stove clean the chimney. Not only are they efficient, but theyre also clean and courteous. Cant recommend this place enough!

Purchased, and had them install, gas logs in an existing wood burning fireplace several years ago. What makes this company exceptional is that we have been shopping since that time for an insert and Fireside has not hounded us. We eventually buy but we like them so much we have not even considered contacting, or shopping, anyone else.

I walked in with some spare time on my hands, a lazy day. Im guessing shorts and a t shirt means theyll ignore you at the counter. The place always looks empty, probably due to being over priced. On average it seemed 3000 for a fireplace insert when home depot has similar for 1400. Its very nice looking on the inside but gives a pretentious feel with the staff and prices. Wont be returning. *Post business response* I stopped in two months ago. There is no record of my visit. You must have allot of neglected potential customers walking in huh?
