Described mower, functions, extremely helpful. We bought it then. Ken Jaeck, is his name & knows his John Deere products very well. Highly recommend company, & this salesman.

Purchased a Zero Turn 530R. Josh worked through a few hoops to get one ordered. The attachments were on back order. I was able to use the Mower this week. Talk about a slick machine. Well worth the wait. I had to tether my hat down cause it kept blowing off.

Traveled 1.5 hrs from our farm to purchase a 100hp tractor at James River Asheboro (have a Quality JD dealer 3 miles from our farm). Ken and everyone was great, good price and did us right. Looking at another purchase next year and James River will be the place.

After shopping on line and thinking I knew what I wanted. A friend suggested that I talk with Brian. Meeting with Brian he asked what I was thinking. Explained to him my last mower lasted over 30 years and I really liked it. He explained the mowers I was thinking x350 was not the mower I was replacing. After showing us the x570 and explaining the features and again doing paperwork he rolled it out. I am very satisfied with the time he took and the deal he offered. After mowing the lawn I realized that he sold me exactly what I Wanted. I will suggest to anyone give James River a chance.

I went to buy a lawn mower and after comparing prices I went back to John Deere in Asheboro N.C.There was ONLY one lawn machine out on display and since I am not an employee of the store I didn’t know they had lawn machines not put together so I asked the price of the ONLY one I seen and told the employee I would buy it then I found out they didn’t take debit cards so I only live a few miles from there I left and got my check book and hooked up my trailer to put it on. As I returned he had most of the paper work done but when he was going over the price again on the paperwork I realized it was 400 dollars more than I was quoted when I asked about it I was told he thought I was talking about another lawn machine OK first of all there isn’t another lawn machine out here to look at so how was I referring to any other lawn mower than the only one I seeThere was not an answer to that so I politely picked up my checkbook and left and went to another store and bought a lawn mower.

Dont believe that you would find a better parts department. Great group of people there.

I do business with them on a regular basis. The building and parking lot is very clean. The folks that work there are pleasant to deal with. They call you when your parts come in. They give correct arrival dates when you do need to order stuff. They load your items in your vehicle.

The salesman stayed after closing time to help me on a Saturday.

Went to but a zero turn mower at Lowes for $ 5800 with a 6 month warranty. Came here to james river and about a zero turn 54 inch Z for $6800 with a 4 year warranty and a true floating deck and a way bigger engine and built way better.do ur home work like I did B4 Ubuy from lowes or tractor supply.

Company did not care had my mower and said it would take 21 days just to look at it. Picked it up and had a local service company come out in 2 days and did the repairs. James River never even reached out to ask about my issue I had to call them over 20 times just to get the unit picked up and then I had to go pick it up my self to take it to a real repair shop. Stay away from this company........

Astonishingly great prices on parts, very competitive with online after shipping. They had a great inventory. They are very friendly and knowledge. I will come back there for sure.

I definitely recommend getting your lawn mower tractor parts and service from James River. I needed a part ASAP was able to pick it up the next day. Staff was awesome!

They are slow on getting equipment transferred in and slow about calling you back, estimated 1 week for bushhog transfer and delivery. Its now looking like 3 weeks

Visited this store on 11/19/2013 and was very pleased with the customer service received. came in to purchase a leaf blower, they were knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions without having to refer to someone else or a manual. There was no pressure, or awkward stare. happy to say i will be back again as they have about anything you could need for yard work or gardening. its not just a tractor sales and service dealer

Had a great experience with Keenan Jones while purchasing a used tractor today. He arranged for the tractor to be shipped in from another store with no obligation to purchase. Pretty simple process overall but other than taking awhile to find the key, I was in and out in a little over an hour. Thanks again Keenan!

I love dealing with this place. All the people are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Especially the one named Kevin that works in parts.

Went there to get a PTO clutch and change it myself. Prices are very high. After spending $500 I attempted to change PTO clutch myself in the yard. After I spent a half hour trying to get it off unsuccessfully. I came inside to ask for help and overheard them in the office making fun of me. They told me it would be $300 just to take it off . So I left and found another mechanic that would take it off and put the new one on $40.

I can only comment on my experience with the repair service of my stihl chainsaw. I was charged almost $100 for work that I did not ask to be done. I just needed it to start and explained on the phone that to get any more work done would not make sense because of the age of the saw. I had put on a new spark plug and put in new fuel but on the invoice it said dumped out old fuel and replaced spark plug. as well as other items that were replaced that I did not need. They did take some money off of the total bill but it was too little to late because in addition to the sticker shock of my final bill the wait time for it to be repaired was over three weeks. Definitely disappointed and I will use another local dealer the next time I want to purchase any stihl product or have it serviced.

After several attempts to make a purchase really expensive equipment at this place the first time a 50 to $60,000 tractor and nobody even acknowledged I was in the store I simply went down the road and purchased a Mahindra now called back again several times a day to see about purchasing a forestry Mulcher attachment or disc cutter for skid steer which usually runs 20,000 plus I cant even talk to nobody no financing I guess my moneys not green enough I do not have long hair and look kind of rough around the scenes but I own for companies and none of them do business the way this one does this is only speaking for the Asheboro store I wont be calling back
