I had a very lovely experience with Maggi Bridal. At a quick glance, it seems like a small shop, but there are actually a lot of beautiful options and I found THREE dresses I was equally in love with... the tough part was just choosing! Amy was super communicative and supportive throughout the whole process. The dress arrived and was beautiful, and I was so happy wearing it and felt wonderful.

Highly recommend!! Amy was super attentive to me and my wedding dress dreams! I showed her 1 picture and she immediately knew which dress I’d love! She was great about it bc she pulled 5 different options and put “The One” in the mix—I was only 3 dresses in and found it!! Of course it was the dress Amy knew I’d love. I couldn’t be happier with my dress! Amy was the perfect mix of professional, knowledgeable, supportive, fun and extremely good at figuring out my vision! Thanks for everything Amy!!!

Amy is absolutely amazing. Her shop is dreamy and full of many options. She excellent at recommending dresses that match your style and preferences. She is also supportive of you trying on new things that you may have never considered. I personally love that! I went for an appointment a few weeks ago and had the pleasure to work with the shop owner, Amy. She was so helpful and really paid great attention to my needs. She made me feel comfortable and her thoughts around designing / customizing were so good to hear. She went to design school and clearly knows her stuff!! The shop is beautiful and there’s a great selection of gowns. She also took COVID seriously and gave me all the details about how to have a safe appointment. She also followed up with me after the appointment which was sweet!I ended up not buying a dress from her shop but had a few that I was strongly considering. Even still, I’d highly recommend going to MAGGI Bridal and working with Amy!

I went to this dress shop on my second day of trying on wedding dresses- I found a dress I loved but wanted to keep shopping around. After going to a few more shops I couldnt get the dress or the wonderful service I received out of my mind! I made a second appointment to re-try on the dress and ultimately bought it :)Jamie made me feel very welcomed for both appointments and EVERY DRESS IN THE SHOP WAS AMAZING!! This shop had exquisite gowns that were beautifully made yet extremely comfortable/wearable!If you are shopping for high quality, unique dresses in Asheville this is the shop for you! I ended up on an extreme time crunch when my fiance and I decided to move up the date for our wedding. Amy spent a lot of time on the phone with me and ordered some dresses for the Dash down the aisle appointment types. I appreciated her working with me and even though I didnt buy a dress from her, I would recommend her to any bride looking for someone who will listen to what they want and help them find something. Not a huge selection in store, so if you need something in a flash it might not be the best place! But - Amy will try to help you anyway 🙂🙂

Amy at Maggi Bridal was an absolute JOY to guide me through this experience. The shop is super cute and they have a variety of different styles of dresses for everyone. I felt so safe and comfortable, especially during COVID. They only do one appointment at a time so it was very stress-free and I got the one-on-one attention that lacks in many other experiences. She was EXTREMELY knowledgable and really helped me find what kind of dress would be perfect for me - when I honestly had no idea what I wanted. Please, do yourself a favor and GO HERE if you are looking for a beautiful wedding dress and a lovely experience.

3/1/21 EDIT: I did receive several text messages from Lo in the days following my appointment. She was very apologetic for the experience. I also received a phone call from Amy, who I found to be very sincerely sorry for my experience. Amy explained why she could not be at the shop on the day of my appointment and expressed why she could not follow up with me immediately after, even though she wanted to. Amy was very genuine, honest and compassionate and I could tell it affected her greatly. She was professional and kind over the phone and I can see that this is by no means a commonality for her business and is not tolerated by her. I am confident that my experience would have been entirely different had Amy been able to be there herself. For this reason, I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars - I would give Maggi Bridal Asheville another chance had I not already found my dress.We arrived at the shop on time after corresponding with both Amy and Lo several times in the days before. We knocked on the door as the sign directed and waited. No one came and so we knocked twice more and waited 15 minutes. My mom called and texted Amy a few times and no answer. We were able to get into our next appointment early and so we moved on. My mom got a call during our next appointment from Lo and she apologized for being late and said she was on her way to the shop now but we were already in the middle of another appointment. We ended up going back after and Lo still had no explanation for the no show. She was very nice during the appointment but I was not impressed by the overall selection of dresses. Lo did take a pretty long time fitting me into each dress, which I understand because she was trying to give me the best fit possible but it seemed to drag on and on. I didnt feel she really listened to what I wanted completely, example- I told her I did not like belts and she put me in a dress that I didnt care for and when I said I really didnt like it she said that it had a great belt to go with it. I am an understanding person but just had a bad taste in my mouth from the whole no show experience that put me off during the appointment.

I had such a wonderful time wedding dress shopping at MAGGI Bridal. Lo and Amy were AWESOME! I didnt feel pressured at all and Amy patiently helped me try on every single dress I was interested in. In the end, I found my dream dress! I cant thank them enough!

This place is very pleasant and relaxed. Our appointment was private and the staff were super attentive and helpful. In other places we were in big rooms surrounded by bridal parties and chaos! At Maggi you can make your appointment and have the place for yourself, which gives you enough breathing space to actually enjoy trying dresses on! We found the right dress right there and then. Im very happy we went to Maggi Bridal.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop. Delaney was an incredible consultant! It was as if I was shopping with a friend- who happens to have 7 years of experience in the wedding industry! She knew exactly what I meant when I was describing what I was looking for (in non-wedding industry terms). She never made me feel pressured into making a sale and was incredibly helpful at making me feel at ease. The salon was beautiful and very comfortable for my mother and sister who came along. The lighting was also gorgeous for pictures and seeing the details of the dresses. Range of budget was great and they had gorgeous gowns you could buy off the rack. Loved coming here and was so happy with everything.

This review is a bit late given that me shopping experience there was in April, however I thought it important to leave a review because the customer service and selection here cannot be beat. I have scoliosis and things fit me funny so I have always been apprehensive about having to find a wedding gown. Hannah, who helped us, was absolutely great and made me feel right at ease. When I found a gown I really liked but it needed to be worked on a bit to fit me, she called the owner of the store to see if they could contact the designer. Ultimately I did not end up getting the gown at MAGGI because I had really fallen in love with another one at an earlier time, but I did love the selection and service of this store. Would highly recommend!

Found an amazing dress here everyone was super friendly. The dress was alittle out of our price range so we talk to the owner and she agreed to work with us so we went ahead and paid the first half upfront because they had to order the dress and then when it arrived they had originally agreed to give us a few weeks to pay the rest off but instead the day the dress arrived they called and said we had two days to come up with the money or they would be sending the owed amount to a debt collection keeping the dress and that we would forfeit the money we had already paid. Planning a wedding on a budget is SO stressful and choosing this place and these people was a huge mistake. I felt lied to and taken advantage of. They were very rude and unprofessional.

Maggi was my first dress shop out of four total that I went to. It was my favorite out of all of them and the perfect way to start the process! The shop is the perfect size and you pretty much have it to yourself. Heather was incredibly kind and patient with us. She knew my style better than I did and recommended the dress that looked the best on me. I didnt end up buying the dress, but she was following it all week to make sure it didnt sell out incase I ended up choosing it. Thanks so much for a great experience, girls!

This is the best wedding dress shop in Asheville! I went to multiple dress shops before Maggi Bridal and must have tried on 100 dresses. All of my appointments felt rushed and very impersonal. I was not able to find my perfect dress and was very discouraged. When I arrived at MAGGI bridal I was already in love with the look/feel of the shop and with my lovely consultant Heather! She was amazing! I was able to find my beautiful, unique dress and it felt like that picture perfect moment that I thought I would never get. I was very picky and she helped me find the most perfect dress! If you are looking at dresses in Asheville, this needs to be your number one stop!

We were unexpectedly in Asheville and I called that afternoon. Heather was wonderful and fit us in without any problems. They dont have a huge selection of dresses, but what they do carry was really well curated. We found several dresses to try on and Heather was amazing. She pinned me in and spent over an hour with us trying on multiple dresses. She was really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.Wed previously been to a big warehouse type of dress store and had the worst experience there. This was 1000% different. I thought I hated dress shopping, but a visit here really gave me different perspective. Im not sure if Ive found the dress, but I had such a great experience that I really want to be a Maggi bride!

Maggies Bridal saved the day for us! A group of 7 of us came from 1-5 hours away one Saturday to shop for wedding, bridesmaids and mom dresses...but the main focus was the bridal dress of course! After going to 3 other shops in Asheville, our bride had only 2 that were fine. 2 of the 3 shops treated her very well and 1 mixed her in with gals trying on prom dresses and what seemed to be crowds of their friends onlooking. Amy at Maggies worked us in at the end of the day and treated our bride like a BRIDE wants to be treated! Amy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and had just the care and attention to detail that our bride desired. Not only that she loved 4 of the 5 dresses she tried on! I could go on, I think this is the place to go in Asheville if youre a bride to be when looking for THE dress!!

I loved my personal consultation at Maggi Bridal! I learned so much about materials and styles from working with Amy, and I feel more confident in my ability to make an informed decision about this high-end, one-time purchase Im going to make! The service was the No. 1 thing about my experience, but the store and the collections are also truly lovely.

I will confess, I was a complicated bride. I went in to the bridal shop looking for a dress that I needed within a little less than a month and a half. I also needed to be completely covered for religious purposes...but I didnt want to look like I was covered. I wanted an illusion neckline with nude lining. I also wanted something not so traditional and something that really spoke to me. Maggi Bridal bent over backwards for me and made all my requests happen! I was blown away by their attention to detail and their thoughtfulness. The boutique is small and intimate which is PERFECT if you dont want to feel overwhelmed. It is by appointment only which is perfect to make sure you are the only bride in there who doesnt have to fight over trying on dresses with other brides as well as get the attention from the Bridal team that you fully deserve.

Out of four different phone calls to different bridal gown shops to make appointments, Amy at Maggi Bridal was the only one who took the time to ask me questions and offer general information on the bridal gown industry over the phone, instead of simply setting an appointment and ending the call. Maggi is a small boutique with a more bohemian collection of dresses than I thought based on the collections and designers listed on their website, and most of the dresses were cream colored or skin tone instead of white.None of the dresses had prices on their tags, and when I asked how much a certain dress was, it was clear that Amy made up a price on the spot based on the going rate of the dress and the budget range I gave her; the price she gave was 100% dead center in the middle of my budget, and was $100-$200 more than it should have been considering it was an off-the-rack dress and the last one left that everyone has been trying on.

My experience with Maggi Bridal, Asheville, was very disappointing. First, I was called 40 minutes before my appointment to let me know that another bride has just shown up, and that my appointment would be pushed back 45 minutes. After asking my family, who traveled out of town to be there, to kill some time, we arrived at the shop. We walked in about 10 minutes early (which was actually way past my appointment time), and were kicked outside to wait in the 85 degree weather, minutes after it had stopped raining. I honestly think they would have kicked us out, even in the rain. The shop is located in a small apartment. DO NOT be misled by the pictures. They are of the Raleigh location. There is nothing online to tell you that the entire website is advertising for the raleigh store, and that the Asheville store is nothing like it. Anyway, the other bride left, and we walked inside. The consultant then began to ask all the EXACT same questions that I had spent 15-20 minutes filling out online before I was even allowed to have an appointment. I was beyond frustrated at this point, but I gave it a shot. After seeing they had no waiting area, I shouldnt have been surprised to see that there was a selection of about 30 dresses, all of which looked very similar. The consultant asked me if was confortable getting undressed in front of her.Considering she had not given me any reason to feel comfortable, I answered that I did not. However, she said that she would turn around, but would still help me in the dresses. Multiple times, she turned to look right at me as she helped me in the dress, blatantly ignoring the privacy I had requested. I tried on a few, and left the appointment 20 minutes after arriving.

I didnt know what to expect from my bridal appointment with Maggi Bridal, as it was my first wedding dress shopping experience, but I could not have been happier. With every phone call and e-mail confirmation and reminder, I was put at ease with the kind and helpful guidance I received. When my friend and I arrived (from Knoxville), we were warmly welcomed and offered comfy seats/restrooms - which my 5 mo. pregnant friend especially appreciated.Brooke was my consultant and was very sweet and courteous of my needs the entire time. After looking through their selection of off-the-rack and custom order gowns, I had several I was excited to try on. They do have a smaller inventory to choose from, but each selection was so gorgeous and unique! Ill admit I was worried beforehand that I might not be able to find the traditional style gown I had my heart set on, knowing the Asheville location had more of a bohemian vibe, but those worries left me when I saw the many classic styles they also carried, complete with lace and tulle, and all the details you expect from a more timeless, vintage look.I never thought in a million years I would fall in love with the very first dress I tried on (Im not that girl), but thats just what happened. Everyones eyes lit up when I first walked out in it, the owner, Amys, stylist, Brookes, my friends, and even my moms via FaceTime since she wasnt able to be there. I truly felt like a bride in that moment and couldnt imagine recreating that experience to be any better. I did try on the other dresses still hanging in the fitting room, and while each one was beautiful and source for inspiration of how I might want to further style my gown, none held a candle. So back in my gown I went and Brooke topped me off with a lovely finger-tip length veil that was her own design (which she was so humble to not even mention until after the fact!) It was perfection.Needless to say, I found my dress that day and looking back on my visit is like a dream. Ill also add that all the ladies at the salon had wonderful recommendations for lunch and exploring Asheville after my appointment, and even though my heart was clearly set on the dress already, they did not pressure me to make a decision right away. I actually asked to come back after my appointment after thinking it over, and the owner graciously accommodated even though she had an event to get to that afternoon.Overall I was just really pleased with the time and effort these women showed me for my upcoming wedding day, and for that I am so grateful, and know I am in wonderful hands for the entire process with alterations and such leading up to then.TLDR: I went to Maggi Bridal and was blown away by the friendly and attentive staff, the incredible collection of gowns, & the surreal movie-scene like but actually IRL experience, and went home with a one-of-a-kind dress that feels like it was made just for me.

I will not be able to say enough good about Maggi Bridal Asheville! They exceeded every expectation I had for this much awaited experience of bridal dress shopping! My engagement was very short (less than 3 months), so I knew very well I would be limited to buying off the rack and getting it tailored to fit. After visiting 7 stores in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, I decided to travel to Asheville on a Saturday, googling wedding dress shops. First stop, fail (no appointments available). Second stop, fail (just like all the other dresses Id seen). Third stop, Maggi Bridal. They originally didnt have an appointment available when I called around noon, but then Heather called back within 30 min and said they had a cancellation. You walk in Maggi Bridal and everything about it just brought a smile to my face (the smell, the ambiance, the intimacy of the boutique, the hospitality, etc). When I walked into the room with the dresses, I just knew! I wanted every dress I saw:) They were exactly what Id been looking for...bohemian/vintage...great for outdoor farm wedding! Heather showed me the dresses she would be able to order to size (yes! they were able to order to size with less than 3 month window). I couldnt believe it, there were 3 that I loved and I just couldnt decide. I never thought this would be my problem. The one I ended up choosing, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE. I cant say enough about Heather. She was so kind, supportive, helpful, diligent and determined to help me find a dress I loved in my price range and size! It took my dress less than a week to come in! As if this wasnt enough, Amy (the owner) went above and beyond in helping me find a seamstress in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. She called several different seamstresses (asked them questions about their business, style, experience, etc) and then sent me a list of the top 3 she recommended. The seamstress (A Better Fit, Spartanburg) did an incredible job with the minimal alterations needed. Oh, if I had only come to Maggi Bridal on Day 1 of my wedding dress shopping experience:) Dont waste your time going anywhere else! Start here.
