This is not the first time I have dealt with this store. The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. In the past I have had two tablet batteries replaced and purchased a replacement battery for a phone. I appreciated being called when an item they had to order for me came in, also email messages regarding my order. I high recommend Batteries Plus.

This place is awesome!! Recently my phone battery had swollen and popped open the back cover while also dislodging the connector. I was afraid that I had to spend a lot for a new phone, but the fine folks here were able to fix the problem and find a new battery replacement, thereby saving me money! And its just behind the Verizon on Hendersonville Road as well, with an Ingles on the left driving up from Asheville. They have bulbs and batteries for your vehicles, cameras and laptops - and will even recycle old bulbs and batteries as well, so dont even throw those into the trash!

Took ipad in for a glass repair and batter replacement. When I took it home i realized the new glass was not glued or attached so it was separating from the frame and putting pressure on the digitizer so it may crack. The home button now will only work if clicked on one side and it will not stop crashing. Had to drop it back off for them to repair the repair.Update: I got a call later that day from the repair person saying they ordered and installed the wrong parts and I would have to wait for the correct part to come in but he would give me the discount of my battery replacement for free. What really bothered me was when they gave it back to me the first time that they said to hurry and put it in a case cause it would help the seal or something. It felt more like he knew it was not working and sealing correctly and wanted to put it in the case as a bandaid to ignore the problem. The original request was sent the 17th with the scheduled drop-off on the 19th. Tomorrow will be the 23rd so if its not done correctly I am going across the street to CPR.After picking up the repair a second time the screen is now entirely seperated and the home burron will not click other than one small spot. I asked the gentleman about the button when i picked it up and he said it works so you are good.

The Apple store in the Greenville mall is closed due to Covid. I needed my Iphone battery replaced and found Batteries Plus. The hours are convenient and if you make an appt online you get 10% off.

Waste of time. I live 40 min away. Called ahead and told Kyle exactly what I needed. I gave him the size of the battery, I gave exact measurements of how far the posts were from the edge, how many contacts, order for positive and negative. I told him all the power specs,and said it was for a wireless hotspot. After answering ALL his questions, he said he had a battery that fit the description. I drove out there, he looked at they battery and said nope nothing like that. So I wasted almost 2 hours of time because the employee was not able to mentally connect an exact description of a battery to what he had in front of him. If you happen to be in the area, maybe try this place. If not, you are better off just ordering off Amazon. I will definitely not go to another Batteries+.

Have been a customer of Batteries Plus for quite some time; however, after my experience today they have lost my business. I had a battery that had run down, and was only 18 months old. Instead of swapping out for a new batter, they insisted that they try and recharge the battery - even though I informed them I had tried myself using my own equipment. They said that later that afternoon or first thing in the morning - it would be ready to either give back charged, or swapped for a new one. Next day....still told its charging....and that they couldnt give me a time when they would make a formal decision. BAD MOVE....Really? Youre in the batter business and you cant give a time when you can make a firm decision? What a scam. Either stand by your battery warranties or not. To make matters worse - the clerk, Dustin was short and rude with me on the phone when I tried to get a firm day or time on when a decision would be made. The basics of congenial customer service, a lost art for those who dont know it, is a telltale sign of poor hiring decisions. Think Ill be taking ALL my battery business to ADVANCE Auto Parts - they stand by their offers....AND kind staff.

Needed a block style back up battery for Invisible Fence system (Not collar battery). If you know anything about Invisible Fence, the beeps are alarming to your dog. We performed loop test that confirmed it was the back up battery not a break in fence. Called ahead and they did not have the exact battery number. But said to bring in to try to match it. Since the indicator of bad back up battery requires the unit to be plugged in, we took the unit with us to make certain a correct matching working battery. The associate Dustin at first would not allow us to connect to the unit to the battery to see if correct matching battery, then allowed it. However, to know 100% if correct matching and working battery we needed to plug in to an electrical outlet. Dustin would not allow it. So, we did not purchase and will not purchase from a store not willing to let a customer see if correct matching item when they are not sure to begin with. The whole point to bringing the unit was to see if right product...and not have to return if incorrect which they could not guarantee! Thanks Dustin for having to wait longer & to keep our dog up and not in the yard until we can find correct item.

I called based on the number on the website. The cheerful, positive voice confirmed that they did have the button battery to get my activity tracker back in action. When I arrived the staff were just as positive, cheerful and quick to get me the battery (2 in a pack). I had tried my neighborhood drug store but no luck on that uniquely sized battery. But these folks have every kind imaginable!

I ordered a motorcycle battery from their website once. When I got to the store after being told it had been delivered the day before, they had not charged it. I received my battery, which I could find no where else, but had to charge it myself, which was only slightly inconvenient. Over-all a good store that sells specialty batteries for everything.

I ordered the battery for my backup online and to be picked up at my local store. A discount code was included in my online purchase which was a nice bonus. The order was ready for pickup in about 45 minutes and the salesperson that waited on me was cheerful and professional despite and hectic morning they were having. My phone fell off my bed this morning and my screen cracked and batterys plus bulbs were the first place that was open before 10AM so I scheduled an appointment online and they had a 10 dollar off coupon for me to use. This place saved my day!! They did an awesome job replacing my glass it looks brand new. The customer service was great too. I definitely recommend this place!!!!

I was having an issue with my iPhone. After CPR (Cell Phone Repair) laughed at me and wouldnt help me, I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs. The staff was so nice and eager to help; all I needed was a battery taken out of one phone and put in the other. My phone works perfectly now, for free, and I came back the next day to purchase a hard-to-find light bulb for my ceiling fan.

I made an appointment to repair a iPhone 7 screen. The system let me add 7pm. Upon driving an hour out of the way I get to the store only to be told they can’t do this after 6:30 because there needs to be 2 people in the store. One to service customers the other to replace the screen. They also said they called me and left a voicemail regarding this however I have visual voicemail and nothing comes up from them just a missed call while I was working and unable to pick it up. Total waste of time and honestly the website needs to be updated to reflect what actual appointments are really available because of the company restrictions on employees or in this case lack of employees.

We have been in the store twice in the last couple weeks. Both times, the staff went above and beyond. Batteries, a cell phone screen protector that had to be special ordered. Awesome!

We bought a small bulb here today. When we went to open the ziplock baggie, it already had an invisible slit in it. The bulb slipped out, hit the floor and broke. We took it back and they refused a refund or exchange. They would not take responsibility for the package THEY damaged. The employee said that the same thing has happened to him before as well!! Go figure. SO, we just lost about $5 on a bulb we cant use and still have to buy another. We were trying to avoid ordering online.

I have been into this store a number of times over the years to buy replacement batteries for battery backups (UPS). I have been to several of their stores around the country and have always had a good experience.I went in to the store on 10/26 needing to purchase 8 batteries ($300) to replace the dead ones in my large UPS. This was a critical unit supporting network and server equipment for a medical facility. I was greeted but was told I would have to leave the unit so they could work on it later. I said that I would replace them myself since I could not wait and explained the urgency. I asked if I could borrow a screwdriver and was told no, they do not loan out tools, I was not going to leave the store with it but they still refused. That was strike two. I had to use the tool on my keychain to remove the screws to replace the batteries.I try to be pretty easy to please and work with but the staff in the store this visit were completely unhelpful. Which is completely different from my previous experiences. After this experience I doubt if I will be back. Very disappointing how difficult the staff were. I returned to my place of work, replaced the battery unit and less than an hour later we had a power event that would have taken down all of my equipment if I had waited around or did not have a leatherman tool where I could replace them quickly.

I advise no one to go here to get a screen repaired on any device. I got my iPhone screen fixed in just the next day my phone glitched like crazy. It started sending text randomly calling people randomly, multiple times I would have to shut the screen off to get anything to work, I’d rather have my cracked screen because at least it works properly for me. The worst part is because I didn’t buy the phone from a retailer like Verizon or AT&T and bought it online they don’t give me a warranty for it. It’s like I threw $80 in the trash, very annoyed

Very unhelpful and terrible customer service.I ordered a new AGM battery for my 2012 VW CC (the exact same battery that was purchased and installed by guys at a Batteries+ in Tallahassee 4 years ago). When I got to the store, the guy at the counter asked what vehicle it would be going into. As he was typing it into his computer, the manager leaned over and said we cant install batteries into a Volkswagen.When I asked him why, he said that they cannot swap VW batteries without a large chance that the loss of power will cause the immobilizer to activate and render the car undrivable. This is completely fabricated nonsense. I have worked on several VW and Audi cars (most of them newer and with more sophisticated electronics than my 2012 CC). I had the battery in my CC out for several hours without a battery tender when I changed my DSG fluid, just a week before this incident.Luckily I had tools in my car to change it in their parking lot. After carrying the new battery out to my car and changing it myself, the car started up perfectly and the only ill effects on the car were the loss of time and radio presets (like usual).When bringing the old battery back toward their door, the store clerk nearly knocked me over when he opened the front door into me and awkwardly tried to take the battery from me in the open doorway. I suppose he was just trying to be nice, but the very least they couldve done wouldve been to offer me a cart to transport the batteries or have them just carry the batteries for me. I am 24 and in decent shape, so carrying it isnt that big of an issue, but if I were much older and/or had back problems I bet they still would not have helped in the slightest.The worst part was after the clerk had taken the old battery from me. I was really curious why the Batteries+ service had suddenly changed in regards to VW, since it had been replaced by a store in the past. I asked the manager what caused them to stop doing their free service and he would not even look at me when he spoke (which is probably one of the rudest most disrespectful things you could do to another human being).He stared 90° away at a shelf of batteries and said they still do the free service for even newer cars but just not with VW because of liability reasons. So a brand new Nissan with a plethora of cameras, sensors, and tech features is less risky to go without power for 2 minutes than a nearly 7 year old VW where the only sophisticated systems are the heated seats and regular old cruise control? Also he said this standing in front of a battery tender on the counter. That would literally take away all liability as it would keep 12v pumping trough the entire car until the new battery gets installed.Rude, disrespectful, and nonsensical. Avoid this place at all costs for any sort of service. Well, its probably cheaper to buy your batteries at a different store as well.

Went in around 11 and waited about 30-45 seconds before any associate came out of the backroom... got a curt can I help you and explained an issue with my fob working only part of the time. I had already opened the fob previously and knew the little metal bracket was half unseated... the young lady came back and told me my fob must be wore out and had split what was a very small crack into one that ran the length of my fob! She told me I needed to go to the dealership and continued on to the next person.. extreme lack of customer service in this store!
