Definitely give them a call and make sure they have your product in stock before driving up here. They had about 8-10 completely empty cabinets on the skincare side, the make up side looked well stocked. It’s rumored they won’t be restocking as this location may be moving into a kohl’s later this year. Four stars for the sweet ladies working in here who can’t control the stock issues. They were very helpful.

Is this place closing in the next week? The shelves are decimated and the stock is mostly filler, I came in looking for eight items and none were available. Really disappointed. Two stars for the associates, it’s not their fault the higher ups are dropping the ball.

I am writing this review hoping that the manager of the store will read it. I may call them tomorrow to make sure they get my message.Id like to say that I was so delighted and happy with the service I got here tonight. I came in looking to do some first hand extensive research on face moisturizers for my mixed type skin. The young lady who worked there (assoc: 0255) politely notified me as I came in that the store is closing in 5min. Understanding that my research is not quite going to happen today, I asked her if she could recommend me a product for my condition. Not only was she very knowledgeable, but she wasnt rushing me at all. Very friendly, but not over the top. Just perfect.I looove when people are knowledgeable about what they are doing, and she so clearly is! Also, I just used the product she recommended and it works beautifully! So happy!

Really small and often out of stock. But the staff is very well informed and helpful when it comes to product knowledge. Will go back to pick up things I already know they have but not for browsing

While JCPenneys struggles to stay afloat. Their merchandise is still above par and the prices were excellent. If you havent shop JCPenneys in awhile its worth a visit and youll be amazingly surprised.

The entrance way on the second level was very dirty and unattractive. Inside was nice and the staff were friendly.

Ive decided to just shop online for Sephora now. I used to swing by the mall on my lunch break, shop around, and Id stop by Sephora because I absolutely adore makeup. If I wasnt wearing makeup I would either be completely ignored or watched like a hawk. Every time Ive interacted with the employees theyve been rude, and I was always made to feel incredibly unwanted. So, just go to Ulta, and but your Sephora exclusives online.

Extremely helpful with finding a good foundation match as well as researching brands to ensure what I purchased were cruelty free products.

Never been much of for big shopping centers. JC Penney’s gave me great customer service and what they didn’t have in the store the were able to order online and have delivered to the store at no cost to me. I’m looking forward to picking up my order. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Besides the fact that it always feels a little post apocalyptic in there, the downstairs near literally smells like feces. We experienced this months ago and then again today, we had to leave immediately it was so gross.

Ive never been to a sephora that didnt have excellent staff and a very neat display.

Very rude staff at Sephora. I had paid for my items with my sister and as we were leaving, the tall skinny girl with a short black bob accused me and my sister of shoplifting, when she was only putting her phone and my debit card away. NEVER. COMING. BACK. how dare you accuse me of shoplifting when you were the one ringing my items up and watched me leave the store. Rude.

Sales person was rude and not helpful at all. Tried to sell me the same color concealer that I already have and had explained to her was too pink on me. Sold out of the color I needed. Seemed to be irritated with my kids. Sorry, I know its not ideal to shop for makeup with kids in tow but Im also pretty sure Im not the only mother that has no other choice. If you want my money you can deal with it.

I shopped at this JC Penny since moving to Asheville in 2005. Last week I went there to buy some workout tops. They literally had no stock and the store STUNK like a dirty dish rag. Just don’t go near it.

I have ordered on-line with in-store pickup a few times. Each time customer service has been excellent. Today no one was at the pick-up desk but a sign said to go to the mens counter. It was not attended but I did see a man merchandizing mens shirts. I asked for his help and he responded immediately and pleasantly. His name was Keith and I feel he showed great customer service, friendly and courteous.

I went there today 12/15/19 around 1230ish. 3 people working all 3 had horrible customer service! I will not go back to that Sephora!

Literally everything I bought from there was ruined within a month. The clothes were wore for a short time and after washing them (some just once) they fell apart. The shoes were wore maybe 3 to 4 times a week and fell apart after 2 months. For how much it costs its not worth it. The quality is complete garbage. So unless you are looking for something nice and a bit expensive to wear only once Id look elsewhere.

Buyer be aware. Do not order anything on line from this store JC Penneys Asheville NC you will never get it. Waited 3 weeks for comforter still havent got it. Store called me to pick up 3 times in one week. Went to the store 3 times in one week and they could not find the item they called me to pick. Horrible customer service. Now 1 week later Ups called my phone and said they were at the dock at JC Penneys store. Told driver I didnt d work there but would love to have the item I ordered. So I called the store and they said they didnt go to the dock for UPS because they were at lunch. Pathetic, this is the same person that placed the order since day one. Dont want to use names but would not hire this person to shovel s---!

This is the most pathetic JCPenney stores I have ever been into. The place stinks of moldy air conditioning vents. The mens department is in total disarray. They should be giving the stuff away and needs to start over somewhere else.

I Was Quite Surprised To See The Store In Such Bad Condition ! It Looked Like They Where Either Doing Reconstruction Or Closing Down The Store ! I Didnt Get A Chance To Ask Anyone, I Only Saw Two Employees In The Whole Store ! Prices Where Pretty High As Well !
