I’ve never had a made-to-order donut before, but this was a delicious change. So when you order your donuts, the shop will then fry and glaze your donut while you wait. The cool part is watching how the donuts are made. You’ll wait around 10-15 minutes for your donuts to be prepared, but it’s well worth the wait. I ordered a cookies and cream, s’mores, and an original with chocolate sprinkles.

I didnt even know Duck Donuts was thing, until this morning. One of our owners brought a 6 pack of fresh made donuts 🍩 to the office for Morgan and me.They were so good. Fresh and moist. There were chocolate covered. And bacon 🥓 with what looks like maple syrup. And then chocolate donuts. Delicious. Give them a try and dont think you will be disappointed.

I checked the website to make sure that they were open. It was 6:05. I was 7 minutes away. I was getting my daughter a treat while at basketball practice. We live a hour away so it was something we dont get to do often. Parked my vehicle at 6:15ish. Get out with a sign on the door temporary hours that they close at 1 on Wednesdays. I understand staff shortage but your establishment is a destination spot. People go out of their way to get your product. Update your website.

First off, I’m a picky person, but this is my exact type of place. Staff was very helpful and the donuts were phenomenal. Never been to a me to order donut shop and this is definitely a place to visit in Asheville. My personal favorite was the chocolate with chocolate chips. A must see while in Asheville!

Its a donut with runny icing. Its not the donuts fault. Hot + sugar = messNot pretty. Still a solid donut.The girls working the early morning shift were friendly and helped walk me through the different options, which I appreciated.The coffee is adorably not great. Gold star for trying.

Duck Donuts is a great place to get donuts! Not only are they freshly made to order and warm while eating, but you also get to be creative and make your own! You start off with a base donut then choose your glaze,then your topping and last of all your drizzle.You of course can get already flavored donuts,like the banana split! The employees are very nice and its a very family oriented place!

Absolutely great. Duck donuts is my go to place when I need that little bit of joy in my day. Nothing beats that warm glazed donuts. Oh by the way, the place is always clean when I go there. Oh, dont mind the wait for your food though.

Nice little donut spot with custom toppings. You can go with the suggested combinations or create your own. The donuts are on the smaller side, served warm, and are all $1.50 each. The coffee is pretty good as well (I got a plain black iced coffee). Highly recommended.

Donuts were awesome, as we’ve come to expect from the other three locations we’ve been to in our travels. Service here left a lot to be desired. None of the locations we’ve been to have lived up to the excellent staff in Charlotte, NC unfortunately. At least the donuts are on point at every single location!

Donuts are amazing and fresh+ my kids love to watch them being made. I love the unique flavors, and the fact you can mix and match and make to order is the best part if this experience! However I do not recommend their espresso drinks.

These donuts will have you say, wow. I went with the Flip Flop donut. The cake like donut is perfectly executed with a fair amount of frosting. Expect it to be too hot to eat right away and expect to get your fingers really sticky. Grab some wet wipes before you leave.

The best donuts I have tasted in my life. Their donuts blow Dunkin out of the water. There breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal as well. It would he dangerous for this place to be near my home because I would go their everyday. Would recommend.

The donuts here were off the chain!! We had a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich - it came on a donut bun. Not too sweet, came out hot. We liked the little boxes the donuts and breakfast sandwiches came in. Its not obvious but while they have a lot of pre-selected donut types, you can also order your own custom donut. Everything was fresh off the fryer, hot, and soft - not like itd been sitting in a case for hours. Fantastic, would definitely go again!

Donuts were delicious. Service was polite & I noticed they change their gloves often. Little disorganized & workers move at a unhurried pace. Some employees seem a little lost,may be due lack of training or direction. I observed some customers walking out & a 5 dozen wedding order they forgot to make. I know fresh donuts take a little time but theres seems to be a lack of concern or urge to pick up the pace when customers are piling up.

A lovely little donut shop! Fresh vanilla cake donuts fried right there, so theyre still hot! Outrageously delicious. Its so awesome that you can build your own styles and flavors with frostings and glazes or you can choose from their seasonal menu if its too overwhelming to make your own. I like mine simple: chocolate frosted (or chocolate covered as we say in the Northeast.)They had free yummy samples at the door and various coffees to choose from, because who wants a donut without fresh coffee?The staff was friendly and inviting and the music playing was fun! Highly recommend!

Staff is very nice. I thought the sandwiches were so so, but rest of my family loves them. Donuts are super delicious. So good we came back a second day in a row. I got the blueberry pancake both times.

A dozen donuts is 13.50 and with 3 small coffees we paid 19.00 for breakfast. That was higher than other donut ahops. Service was friendly and it was easy to find. Did not like how messy the donuts were. They were good donuts just very messy. So much sugar...My review is 3 out of 5.

I have had Duck donuts and they are delicious but recently I have had surgery that prevents me from having desserts with sugar. Even for diabetics I called to ask if they made sugar free glazed based donuts for like diabetics and they said no. That hurts. I can’t call it discriminating but they should try to make it accommodating for people like us that has sugar cravings but can’t have sugar.

Duck Donuts is the go-to place for practically any and every occasion. Doesnt matter if youre alone or weather youre with you family/kids! Everyone is made to feel extraordinarily welcome and they can even honestly say you have it your way just as well if not much better than Burger King! Everything is made fresh to order and they make it all right in front so as the customer can go along down the line and watch their each and every donut being made right before their eyes. This I believe cuts down on confusion, disappointment on getting something you didnt want or order and many many many different things. Ive not seen an unhappy person walk out of this store and the staff is so sensational along with the 2 owners that also work alongside the employees and get their hands dirty too instead of hiding behind a desk, computer and telephone! They didnt have coffee lids, have any creamer, and they didnt have any coffee only espresso. The donuts were also as large as a Krispy Kreme but much more expensive and comparable in taste.

We always go to Duck Donuts. There is one in Columbia, SC where we live but on our way to lunch out of the corner of my eye I saw the sign and had to come on our way back to our Asheville AirBnB. OMFG this place is amazing. The Bacon in the Sun and French Toast are perfect for brunch lovers, and the Smores donut reminded me of many summer nights spent around a campfire. The coffee is great too. Cheers to the staff for making my custom creations quickly and getting me out the door in a hurry!

Duck donuts 🤑🤑🤑🤑! Yes they cost more than Dunkin or Krispy Kreme, but you will never want donuts from anywhere else once you taste their Maple Bacon!

The donuts tasted amazing, but they forgot one of them. The music was WAY too loud for a small location. My younger son is very sound sensitive. We asked if the music could be lowered and it was but not by much.
