Lots of great deals. The best part is its old fashioned, you will have a nice young man or woman ring up your order. With the manager floating around the store watching over all departments you can find assistance for any question you may have. My favorite part is when you walk in the door all the sale items are the first thing you come to, so any item on your list that is available at a discounted price goes straight in the bugey and you know where you can afford to spend a little extra.

If you need something quick, its a fast stop, good deals not a whole lot of variety.

This store is not fancy, there are no gimmicks, no deli No bakery, they doNOT take coupons, but you cant beat the prices!

Bad customer service at the store. Cashier gave my groceries to another customer as I was checking my bank account because my card wouldnt go through. Luckily the customer was honest and returned my groceries so I could pay for what I could afford. Then I had to get back in line to pay for my groceries. Because the cashier started to ring other customers. Just embarrassing! Only thing the cashier had to do was let me pay for the groceries I could get and I would have been on my way. Instead making me feel unsafe in the store by being antagonistic with me. Really ruined my shopping experience!

Great store, have MoST of the items I could find back home in GA, I kow if I cant find it her then food lion is my next best bet

Extraordinarily thankful to work with local grocers for our nonprofit food giveaways in our community. Hands down the best service and prices. Is store has a great variety of foods and fresh vegetables . Some may give a negative review according to the dated building but I would say that service trumps esthetics any day.

The one on Merrimon seems to be better managed. Employees here are pretty lax on the whole facemask thing (as is the Skyland Distributing vendor who NEVER wears his). Regardless of whether you believe its true or not, this deadly virus doesnt care what you think and the suffering is never going to end until everybody gets with the program and deprives this Communist invader of its next victim.

Stopped by tonight around 8:45pm, website stated store closes at 10pm. At 8:59pm, an incredibly rude employee by the name of Lawrence literally followed us down an aisle asking “You do know we’re closed?!” I asked if we could still checkout, he replied “If you go to checkout RIGHT NOW” followed by “I don’t get paid enough for this shit”. I am SHOCKED and DISGUSTED by the lack of customer service. Please do better in your interview and hiring processes.

You have to appreciate this store, it sells the meats that makes soul food and the classic Hispanic dishes possible. Its hard to find these ingredients in the Green bean casserole w/Marshmallows food areas like N.Asheville, Arden and East AVL. Sav-Mor is 100%

I used to shop at a savmor in atlanta that had WAY better prices. That being said the store had a large selection of hispanic foods.

The stores fine, but geez Louise you can smell the bathrooms from the refrigerated section. And to go in one of them requires a gas mask and a bark bag. Take some pride in your workplace. Put on a hazmat suit and get in there with a pressure hose and some antibacterial soap and 100 gallons of bleach and youll move from 1 star to 4 stars.

Always clean and excellent place to get groceries. Cheaper than Ingles, Bilo or Food Lion.

As a person who shops around and tries to get the best deals, I learned that most of the items are the same price if not higher than the Ingles store. They do have specific sale items that are cheaper. Example: I went to Ingles for eggs that were on sale for .79 a dozen...the very next day I went to sav more and the same eggs were on sale for .95....my point, just go to Ingles. Its cleaner, better selection and the employees are much friendlier.

I love shopping at sav mor. Ive been going there for years. However I cant understand why they allow homeless people to camp on their sidewalk and panhandle for money. Not only is it bad for bussiness its disrespectfull to customers. Did they start a homeless program im not aware of?

When you looking for a deal at the grocery store

Fruit flies galore, failing produce department. Same or even higher prices for products as Ingles, only closer to expiration dates.

Not sure why its called Save Mor...The prices are doubled from Walmart and Aldis and about the same as Ingels. If youre looking for a sale, save your time and go to Aldis.

And tell me again why this place, owned by ingles exists? Most of the items here are the same price as ingles. Lightly damaged or out of date items just get sent here from ingles. Things are falling apart and not one person spoke to us. The urinal screens in the mens room seem like theyve been there for years and the stalls have writing all over them. Needless to say, this store is not worthy of having the ingles name associated with it.
