Great selection of standard and fine liquors. Friendly, helpful staff!

A bit small. Not sure how it compares to other stores in area. One nice thing is a section for NC distillery products.

Pretty much the standard NC ABC store. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and well organized. The only reason I’m deducting one star is because of it’s size. It’s a smaller store so they don’t have the variety that some other ABC stores have. For example, the might have a regular 750ml bottle but not the 1500ml bottle. So if you’re buying for a party it’s more economical to buy the large size rather than 2 regular size bottles.Also, due to space constraints they don’t have much room for storage so the shelves run low. They get their restocking on Thursdays. So if you’re looking for something specific it’s best to go late Thursday or Friday. At least that’s what one of the staff told me😄.

Manager is rude and does not understand how communication works. Over talking customers is not productive. Also, customer service would benefit from staff members not having a smoking gathering outside the doors. Location and staff are sketchy/questionable at best.

For a State operated store they have a huge selection, good prices, money saving sales. However, check online for individual stores. They have a few which are not enforcing mask wearing including employees. The employees I saw said they had a medical exemption. Didnt stop them from having a cigarette break outside...

They have all the booze. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Make sure to visit the backroom. I found a smoke wagon there!

I totally didnt go here because I dont live in Asheville, but if I did, you can be sure Id be hitting up ABC. Everyone loves ABC - totally a fan favorite.

It was well stocked and orginized yet they dont carry the packs of airplane bottles. So maybe I dont need them.

Convenient as well but dont let 4 to 5 o clock hit or you will have a hard time leaving the parking lot

Nice lady dark longer hair(i think) stocking bottles up front close to the registers, really helped me with some questions @ Tequila & the couple different types that had screw on/off tops & how a certain Patron they sell was made, hence the name on that specific bottle,,older man @ register also nice/bagged the bottles & the 2 mixers I purchased the way i asked him to without acting like I was a bother, as SOME cashiers do @ other types of stores!! Thanks guys 4 being pleasant & helpful, will return someday to this liquor ABC store across from the Asheville Tourists Baseball Stadium(McCormick Field)!!!!

Visiting liquor stores in other states is fascinating; North Carolina seems to only retail spirits through controlled nonprofits that contribute their proceeds to various programs aimed at making the state a better place. It was awesome! I’ve never felt so good about getting blasted before 😏.

Ya cant go anywhere else. Good thing everyone who works here is super nice and very helpful. if they dont have it on the shelf they can help you find it in town. No mini bottles. no public rest room. $$$$$.This store has the nicest staff, also the busiest location so be ready to wait.

Some of the best and nicest people I have encountered at a liquor store. Never once have I had even the slightest issue at this place. There is definitely a super creeeeeepy ALE dude that I see fairly often, but he doesnt work there, so it doesnt count.

All Im interested in is tequila, and they have a good selection. Good prices too! Class Azul for under $100!

Liquor for kings of Leon and the kids are so sweet to me thanks for the informative article on the way to baseball game tonight at the moment and then afterwards we are trying to have a school bus that goes global warming and the kids are so many people are incarcerated you have to get a flatbed to the other one

I have had pleasant experiences with other ABC stores in this area but had a repulsive experience here recently. Bummer its in such a convient spot to downtown.

Closed 2 minutes early, sad to say we didnt get our whiskey.
