Super easy set up. Comparable rates. Friendly service. Units are NOT climate controlled and next to none indoor units. Website is a bit confusing/misleading about THIS Ashland,MA location. I recommend using rubber totes/bins for this type of unit.

The Saxonville/Framingham Extra Space Storage is a place worth checking out. First and foremost, the units are indoors so you do not have to worry about the weather. The manager Bill D. was cleaning up a unit and man was it left spotless. The unit sizes are perfect for the needs of my seasonal equipment. Bill D. walked me through the benefits of storing my belonging too. Extra Space Storage allows you to purchase insurance on what I store and the rates are budget friendly. Plus Bill had a lot of platform dollies to help ease moving. I highly recommend getting a unit from Bill because he shared my vision and filled in the blanks when the website left me wondering if I was selling myself short. I called other places but nothing compared to this great deal.

I worked with James prior to moving and rented one unit, he was easy to deal with and very friendly. When we brought all of our belongings in a moving truck we quickly realized we would need a second unit, James was able to set us with a second unit within a few minutes. On what could have been an extremely stressful day everything went smoothly! Both of our units were clean and easy to access.

I booked a unit online and was contacted by an employee exactly within the time frame. James called I made an appointment at my convenience he was more than accommodating. I arrived and James was ready. He answered all my questions showed me my unit. Initiated all the paperwork explaining everything. Repeating answers I needed repeated. I asked about a lock and some questions on the accessories sold in their office. He said if you purchase anything today you receive 15% off. I said great. Purchased a few things one being the lock. Not only did James help with the sale. He walked me back to the storage unit showed me how the locked works and locked my storage unit up.I feel very comfortable with this storage facility and I am thrilled with the service I received and I know it will continue while I’m a customer.

We received a call on 7/27/17 That we did not properly lock our storage space.We told them we would be down in a few days.THE GENTLEMAN THAT CALLED GAVENO MENTION OR REMINDER THAT THEY WOULD CUT OFF THE LOCK AND CHARGE US FOR A NEW ONE AND MAILING FEES anD HAVE NO ACCESS TILL THE KEYS ARRIVED IN THE MAIL.Before they cut the lock off because youmistakenly did not lock it properly they should state that they are going to do it with a phone call or message.I understand they are trying to protect our goods and themselves,however, sending a letter with keys to a new lock in the mail is not the way to find this out. When we arrived a new lock was on the unit and we could not enter until the keys were received in the mail.Quite frustrating.We were told it was in the written agreement.THE LETTER SHOULD ALSO STATE THE PRICE OF THE NEW LOCK.

Jims wonderful to work with, and, made the whole process of selecting and getting into my unit super easy! Excellent customer service and people skills! Location seems very secure, is clean and I even witnessed Jim scanning and picking up any metal pieces, screws, etc, from the drive to protect customers tires. Great all around!!

The main manager James was very helpful at the beginning of the week when I inquired about renting a unit. He walked me through the process over the phone, and they accommodated my need this morning to switch the type of unit I was renting.There is a new assistant manager there who took the time to talk me through the entire process this afternoon, show me the unit I would be using. He answered all my questions and was very kind. For a new guy, this gentleman was extremely polite, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient.I was on a time crunch and they helped me get through all the paperwork, which was all online and frankly impressive. Definitely a fantastic customer experience and as a manager in that industry, I really appreciate it.

I have some family moving into a new place and they needed a locker to store some of their stuff. I had a great experience with Chelsea last time and she was once again polite, informative and friendly and my mother remarked that the building was very well kept and free from the dinginess and smells these places can sometimes carry. Let me start by saying that I seldom write reviews, but I couldnt be happier to write this one! I had reserved two storage rooms for a recent move from Sudbury. Our moving day turned out to be extremely stressful. The movers were unable to get all our furnishings loaded onto the truck. By the time they got to Extra Space Storage, the office was about to close. I had trouble with the gate code and was getting frustrated that it wouldnt open despite several attempts. Thank goodness Rich was still there and was extremely helpful in reprogramming the code. He recognized that I was beyond stressed and couldnt have been more patient with me. He took his time explaining all I needed to know. In addition, he noticed that when I returned days later to add more items to my unit, I hadnt replaced the lock correctly and my belongings were not secure. I cant thank you enough, Rich and James, for excellent customer service. You guys are awesome!

We decided to rent online got to the storage received our code and lock and moved in. There is a store inside that sells merchandise!

We just rented a unit here, and had a very nice experience. The premises are very clean, appear quite new, and everything seems extremely secure. Onsite manager James was excellent and helpful. So far, we are very pleased with our experience.There is a requirement that you have insurance for the contents of the unit. The site sells this as well, but had I known this in advance, I would have investigated my options before arriving. I assume this is a standard thing, but it was a surprise to us.

James and Rich are a class act here. Nice to see Customer Service is still alive and well. Climate controlled storage space was super clean (literally looks brand new) and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This facility is very clean. The staff was super helpful and I feel very safe having my stuff there. There are cameras and the security gates really add a level of security.

I reserved a storage unit online and then talked on the phone with Jared and James. They were both very helpful and knowledgeable. I wasnt exactly sure of what my space needs would be, so I made arrangements to stop in before they closed to take a look at what they had available.Before I stopped in James had taken a look at the available inventory so that he could show me what my options would be. He took the time to shuttle me around to look at each storage unit so I knew exactly what I would be getting.We settled on what we both think would fit the need, but he also left it open that I could transfer to a different setup if things dont work out.James and Jared were both easy to work with and made the rental process as quick as possible. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.I havent moved any stuff in yet, but from what I saw, the storage facility is clean, well lit, and secure.

Overall good experience my only complaint is rent rates increasing after a certain point. Manager said there is no locked in pricing.
