I believe in buying locally. I did not use the box stores. I called four places. Three said they would be happy to give an in home estimate with samples. This place, not so much. Not only that, when you close 8 out of 14 days over the holidays.... let’s just say the bloom is off the rose, and I’ve lost that warm and fuzzy feeling. In a pandemic, certain companies are flexible, others not. I will use one of the more cooperative local companies. I’ll walk on the other side of bridge street when I’m in the harbor.The owners response misses the point. If I am forced to walk into a store and pick out my flooring, I will do do where it is most convenient. By there own admission they are not convenient. I will now use Lowe’s. Easy parking, wide open spaces, accommodation to their customers. Most importantly they know they are in business to make money by having convenient hours of operation.Be a family owned business all you want. But your inflexibility with hours and policies, beg me to go somewhere else. I do not agree with your business. Model. And, I’ll go as long and hard on this as you do. Best to cut your losses.

I have bought carpet and a very nice futon from them. They installed it perfectly with premium padding at a price any budget could afford. Several years later my dog pulled one of the threads up in carpet so I called them to see what I could do to stop the run and they came out immediately and repaired the carpet. Great overall experience
