This place is amazing. Coffee girl has been around for a very long time. If your passing through Astoria or live here you have to visit this place! This is my wife and I favorite place to get coffee and something to eat. There breakfast quiche is our favorite! There scones are absolutely amazing as well. They also do monthly coffee specials that are always good. The view from this cafe is some of the best in Astoria as well. We have been coming for almost 3yrs now and have NO complaints! You won’t regret coming here.
This is a great place to come for breakfast in Astoria. It’s a little down they way from the main downtown but worth the trip for the view and the food. They have a wonderful breakfast menu with many choices. I recommend their quiche and maybe a scone too.Large coffee bar with lots of espresso drinks.Take a moment and see the historic pictures from the origins of this place on the wall.
I absolutely love Coffee Girl! I always go when Im in Astoria. The shop itself is adorable with a charming inside and scenic outside. The food is good and reasonably speedy, considering how busy they always are. Reasonable prices, and a nice variety of pastries. Parking is a little difficult but you can always walk across the bridge. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite.
A great place to share a cup of (good) coffee while being serenaded by the local sirens. All with an expansive view of the Columbia River. But really though, the coffee is good, the scones are better, and the location is the best. I love the old cannery, its just a cool place. The sea lions are always amusing, and the local vibe is great.
What a special spot!! It’s all about the location and the view, but this spot also happens to have great drinks and friendly staff. They sell their logo gear, which is really cute. I was hoping to snag a sticker but they only had patches. Will definitely come again next time I’m passing through and try their food.
Make this your first stop before hitting the touristy stuff. Had a scone and a recommended slice of zucchini bread. Both amazing. Watched the ships and sea lions and got into a nautical frame of mind for the day. Walked out singing the Bumble Bee tuna jingle.
So cute excellent food! The staff very friendly!
This place is amazing for sitting down and taking in the sights and sounds of the river while drinking a great cup of coffee. Foods good too. Well worth the nice walk
Fantastic coffee and great pastry options made by a very friendly crew. I loved wandering around the place and checking out all of the historic pictures showing the cannery staff working in the dining area.
They have good coffee and the view is beautiful. It feels so nice to sit on the porch with a lovely view of the water, or if it’s raining inside it is quite cozy. They do have a gluten free vegetarian cookie that is good too. The bat hanging in the entryway is a little scary tho!
Gorgeous, relaxing location and coffee. The baristas were very kind and patient. Id recommend parking near the hotel and walking the pier although you can drive it. Theres limited parking and the path is a bit rickety
Loved it! Theyre in such a unique location right on the water. The coffee is good, as are the pastries. If I lived closer this would be my go-to coffee place.
We had a delicious apricot and berry tart and a bagel with lox. Bagel was prepared with homemade pickles that were very good. Good service, amazing view. Coffee is fine, food is excellent, cheap way to enjoy the waterfront and tool through the cannery.
Great local coffee spot! I’m glad we stopped on our way to Seattle. Great coffee, lox everything bagel, and to top it off the seals were funny to listen too! Thanks for a fun morning stop!
Great little place. A bit pricey. Right on the water. Coffee is average but the food is delicious. The paninis were amazing! We also got a German chocolate brownie that was very yummy.
Food was good but a little pricy for some things the view from the outdoor seating was great. Very friendly pigeons in outdoor seating.Don’t park on pier
Super nice vibe! We found them on accident just driving through which was a super nice surprise. They had a decently sized menu and the counter girls were so nice and quick. We listened and watched the seals while we enjoyed our drinks and snacks outside, it was lovely.
Cool place to visit. Right on the docks with an awesome view of the ships rolling in. Coffee wasnt very good. My latte was scorched and so was my friends. The people were great, I wish I could give the coffee a better rating.
I have had this placed saved for a long time and we finally made it in there. It is located in the historic cannery building on a pier and walking around and seeing all the history in that building was pretty incredible. The coffee shop has good baked items and the coffee was top notch. As you sit and drink your coffee you will be overlooking the Columbia River right out the window. Be sure to walk around the museum on your way out and get a feel for what used to be happening when it was the cannery.
Absolutely outstanding coffee for an incredible price. Beautiful crema. Gorgeous views of the river. Friendly servers. Multiple dairy alternatives and they use ORGANIC, Oregon based non-dairy alternatives (Pacific Foods). Rich, dark roast, but smooth and not bitter espresso. The food is wonderful and a great price too. Lots of Bakery items. My favorite is the pesto panini. Melt in your mouth delicious. Great place to bring your laptop, get free wifi and enjoy an incredible lunch, and cup of Joe and watch the ships pass by.They also have outdoor seating right on the river for the warmer months (no railing so not little kid friendly though since its an old dock).
Cutest hidden gem! Food was sooo good and very reasonably priced. The view is a wonderful plus. Loved this place!
Coffee Girl is a destination cafe, and perhaps Astorias crown jewel in a constellation of coffee houses along the Columbia River. Drive onto Pier 39, park your car, then stroll into the building, past the museum, into the cafe and take a seat by the fireplace. Sip a latte, mocha, or espresso while you watch a ship, seal, and gull pass your window. This is a place where you can sit down and truly appreciate a fine cup of coffee, and ... everything.
There is everything you could want from a coffee shop plus gorgeous views and a lot of history to view in the forms of photos and such.
Good breakfast bagels and excellent coffee! Located in a former cannery, unique spot.
Found out about this place by a friend and we have been going back multiple times every chance we get. The atmosphere has good energy and the food and drink are great. The staff is very friendly, our favorite is Angela, can I say that we have a favorite.
Not a fancy upscale breakfast joint but a small, local hangout with Pacific Northwest ambiance. The food was delicious and they offered great service. The cafe is sprinkled with a sense of humor. The menu is limited featuring breakfast pastries and bagels, with other options made to order. There are a few tables inside with more tables outside, all overlooking the majestic Columbia River. Very relaxing. I was glad i brought my jacket because it was a bit windy.Youll find this quaint restaurant located on Pier 39, the old Astoria cannery. There is a small, museum about the history of the cannery and BubbleBee. On the Pier you can purchase fresh Dungeness crab. We found Sea Lions and see (what appears to be) an old pirate ship in the harbor. We will definitely return to this restaurant.
This is one of my favorite stops to bring out-of-town guests,we either get our coffee and snacks before or after touring the old bumblebee tuna packing plant. Dont forget to go visit the museum while youre here. Theres even a rod holder out on the pier in case you want to do some fishing. An old neighbor of mine was the original owner of this place, I was friends with her older brother in the late 80s early 90s hello from Kaiser road Zetty.
Very good brefis samwich. The cafe is located in the old lunch area we used to hang out in when we worked in the cannery. Lots of nostalgia for an old fisherman & cannery worker. How do they get away with not having a rail at the edge of three dock, though? Theres nothing but a 12x12 there. Just tall enough to trip over . . . It does make for a nice view, though.
Wife list of options for drinks and pastries, wifi is an open wifi, lots of wall outlets for power, great view of the river, lots of seating but does get noisey. You can drive across the pier to find parking though there was only about 20 spaces. Can park on the street before the pier if you cant find parking. Difficult to locate by signage so just walk straight to the back of the pier to find it.
The ambiance of this place is great! It’s ON the river, so it has great views. There are seats inside and out. The counter is the original one the coffee gals used to serve coffee over to the Bumblebee Seafood Canners. The shop is filled with plants, which gives it a wonderfully fresh feeling. We had tea, coffee, and quiche and it dish out disappoint.
Wonderful historical ambience on the Columbia river waterfront integrated with the old salmon cannery and museum.
Coffee Girl is a cute little cafe that I usually try to visit when were in Astoria. Their coffee is great, and the service has always been friendly and accurate. Usually it is fairly busy, so there may be a bit of a wait, but I love to sit on the patio overlooking the Columbia River to pass the time.I recently got their breakfast panini and a mocha, and it was fantastic. It came with a nice bowl of fresh cut fruit that was very fresh and tasty. We also got an Americano in our to go mug and a raspberry bran muffin, and those were great as well. The cafe is located in an old cannery building, and you have to cross a one lane wooden dock to get to parking (limited amounts, mind you). I love it, but it certainly made my husband nervous so be forewarned. ☺️
Good coffee and food. Phenomenal location. Dont forget to step outside and enjoy the peace.
Adorable coffee shop where you can sit and look out on the water. Tasty treats and one of the best cold brews Ive ever had.
I am so happy we found this little hidden gem. Located at the back of Pier 39, it has an amazing view out back of the bay and the mountains across. The girls who served us were all very friendly and very intentional with us and our 2.5 year old daughter- just kind people! They made excellent coffee (we got a small Americano, 8oz with 2 shots) and the perfect little hot cocoa for our daughter with whipped cream and sprinkles (her favorite)! Whenever we are back in Astoria we will definitely be back!
As always, the baristas at Coffee Girl do a marvelous job. They take their time to do things right, they will answer any questions you have, and make sure you understand what you are getting. My party ordered a Chai tea, a Caramel Machiato, and a Swedish Iskaffe. They were very prompt and courteous, working smoothly as orders came in for food and drinks . They made sure I understood that my Iskaffe was not a sweet drink, so as not to surprise a person. Eveything was very good. We sampled all 3 drinks among us, and we had some bread pudding and a brownie as well. Good food, good coffee and best of all, great location and staff. It was a beautiful day to look out and see Astoria, and watch some ships 🚢 go by. Thanks for another great visit, this is why I took visiting family here, for all of the above. Many thanks and until I see you again in my next visit ❤️❤️💙💙🤩🤩
This place was awesome! Located on pier 39. The coffee was great along with the friendly service.
Amazing mocha and chocolate tea cake!
The best! Great decor and friendly staff.
I adore this location, the breakfast, the baked goods and especially the coffee. Fantastic crew, as well. Dont forget to stop here every chance you get!!
Coffee and panini were both great staff was friendly and I loved eating breakfast right on the water, thanks guys!
My Mexican Mocha was tasty, the apple bread pudding was yummy 😋 even cold. The cashier seemed not interested in the service of meShe didnt warm my bread pudding up or even give me a chance to ask her to warm it.I tried to ask her another question and she just did give me the time of day, there was one person behind me in line.. It was a little disappointing. BUT not enough to keep me from going back, everyone can have a bad day.
I love this place they have so many different delicious awesome choices breakfast and dessert treats love there chocolate zucchini cake the best Ive ever had always come back for more love Ellie
A place to think and dream. Friendly staff, great coffee and a place to sit outside and watch the water flow by.
Everything and anything you order here is delicious 😋 I love going here.
Love this gem of a coffee shop. Good coffee. Good food selection. Nestled in an old cannery with tons of history all around. Nice view of the river from the dock behind the shop. Will definitely be coming back to this shop when we return to the coast.
An amazing coffee shop on the pier, boats coming in and out the Columbia river, seagulls and seals making themselves heard outside. An authentic NW experience! Go support these guys!
Amazing food for a coffee place .. cookies, quiche, and everything......coffee is great also. Well worth the walk down the pier... staff are professional and personable...Great place and great people stop there when were in town every time. We Sold the house there, unfortunately we wont be there as often. Do yourself a favor and go get a cup. ☕🥧🏆
Delicious food and a wonderful view.
Amazing drinks (they were Harry Potter themed when we went) and so many delicious cookies/muffins/bars made in-house. Cant wait to come back the next time were in the area.
Spectacular views of the beautiful Columbia River. Gorgeous plants all over the place. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Really, truly delicious coffee. Let me say this again-incredible coffee. Like seriously. Try this coffee. They also offer plenty of food options- fantastic baked goods, yummy sandwiches and panini and soups. I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I’ve had. Yum. I live about 25 minutes away and we make the drive just for coffee sometimes. Go to Coffee Girl. ❤️
Great views of the Columbia from a historic pier. Very cool.
The view of the water is impeccable. Lots of chairs outside. The wooden bridge leading up to it made me nervous
Great coffee!
While your grabbing a coffee visit the museum. Really well put together by the English Gentleman. Coffee girl was excellent.
Great atmosphere, great Coffee and quick service. As a Washingtonian I can fully endorse this location.
Probably one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. The breakfast bagel was outstanding, as well. Staff was very nice and the location on the pier was a good place to hang out. Would definitely return.
Cute, great views, great mask policy, I felt safe and respected
Unique LocationGreat coffee & Homemade cookiesLove this place
I purchased coffee on several occasions during the past three months yet the last visit an employee possibly bumble bee was mocking me and told me I was on private property which ia true yet I was on private property drinking coffee that I had purchased just that morning. Prior to the last visit when I purchased coffee the song they played offended me and prior to the last two visits the young lady filled my cup 3/4 full so for the last three above stated reasons I wouldnt go back yet Id recommend as the coffee is good but the people arent so nice.
Charming, on the water. You can watch the freighters as they wait for the pilot boats or as they go on their way.Good coffee, good food. It is easy to imagine going back in time. Lots of history and next nextdoor to the Bumblebee Museum. Worth a visit!
