I called today needing a copy of a receipt because I lost mine. Alicia emailed it to me within minutes. I saw all the bad reviews but they were old so wanted to leave a positive one. Alicia was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
I have a clt that had to have a machine.It was one issue after another..The staff was very rude and down right nasty.Whe my clts friend went to pick up the machine they were very rude to him..They treat you like you are bothering them and they dont want your business Very very unprofessional.Will never go there again and will NOT recommend any of my other clts to go there.
I never had a problem with this company. I would recommend them to anyone
The Nightmare on Stimson Avenue!!! They have had my overnight pulse oximitry test results for 7 days and they say they will get the results to my doctor sometime this week-and its already Tuesday! No apology, no explanation, but plenty of defensiveness and then a phone hang-up. Next stop for me: Better business Bureau ...
I have not had a good experience yet in the 4 months Ive been working with them. Ive been given incorrect information multiple times. I have had to contact them several times because I dont hear from them when Im supposed to. My compliance with insurance was even questioned last month because the information I was given was inaccurate. Most recently they lost a Dr. directive, which could have been problematic if I hadnt persisted in calling and then having to have Dr. office call as well. The front desk seems to be the biggest problem. Very Sweet person. But entirely uninformed and seemingly incompetent.
If you are looking for timely and helpful service you WILL NOT receive it here. Tried to get my mother a hospital bed for a serious injury that left her immobile. Dropping off the RX in person and calling daily was useless. They are not effective and they do not advocate for their customers. It took over two weeks for them to finally get their act together and approve the bed. When they did, they said it would be another 5 days until they could get someone to bring the bed out. Three weeks for a bed is absolutely unacceptable. It should take no longer than two days. We called Dasco at 3pm on a Monday and had the bed by Tuesday afternoon. Now thats how it should be done. Dasco maybe a lot further from Athens but you would think they were right next door.
Trying to obtain equipment for an elderly friend has been a nightmare. They have wasted over a week and keep telling me they dont have the proper documentation. So, yesterday, her physician sent in new orders and today they claim he only sent the orders but no notes. I asked them why they didnt notify the physician or the patient but they dont do that. I cancelled her order and going with another company. They do not show any care for their patients. This patient is now in worse condition because they did not deliver the needed equipment.
Absolutely the WORST customer service. Manager and staff are rude uncooperative. Never, never go there unless you enjoy wasting your time.
I took a prescription into Genesis in October for a wheelchair. It was for short term (90days)use following my sons foot/leg surgery. They called me today (January 25,2019) wanting updated insurance information to get the wheelchair approved. A wheelchair he no longer needs. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I called them on a couple occasions and was told they were just waiting on insurance.
My insurance wouldnt cover the cost of a BIPAP machine. Genesis tracked down a second hand one for under a thousand, which still had some warranty left on it. I took it home and turned it on...and it malfunctioned. Also, the previous owner was a heavy smoker...I smelled cigarette odor when I turned it on...yuk! So I took it back. Genesis immediatly switched the detective unit and have me a newer model (with all the bells and whistles!) costing twice as much, no extra charge. I told them about the cigarette odor, they seemed surprised about that. So I ended up with a top of the line, almost brand new BIPAP (the previous owner had it only 3 months) with all but 3 months of the warranty still intact! Thank you Genesis for taking care of me!
I would gave it no stars if i could. Dont go! Very rude and loves to argue. When asked questions they give attitude!
They make it very clear right up front. They couldnt care less about you, your loved one or when the equipment might show up. I cant imagine how a company like this stays in business.
My experience was not good. I was waiting for 25 minutes in the lobby and there were no other customers.
No customer service. Would give zero stars if I could.
