To say disappointed is an understatement. I have been coming to Podium for five years. Had my prior fit corrected with a wonderful ongoing relationship similar to other reviewers. When my bike unexpectedly totaled I came in for a new bike. With the goal being to get back in the saddle as quickly as possible, while knowing that all shops and mfgs were experiencing pandemic related shortages, I was transparent that Id identified one used and one new bike at available elsewhere but trusted them and wanted to see what they could fit me to, I was assured that for a mere two additional weeks I could get a better fit bike through them and I went for it. At the end of that two weeks, after multiple emails went unresponded to, I called into the shop to find out the status and discovered the bike was never ordered. I was contacted to pick a new color than the 2020 I selected as the 2021s had their release moved up to meet demand. Selected a new bike and was told it would be in another week. Two and a half months of chasing for updates with the mfg unable to provide new delivery timeline, I discovered the bike ordered wasnt the color I was told (white versus the teal blue I ordered). I again contacted and was dissatisfied but wanted to make it work if they could meet me part way in some fashion on the added over $1k worth of equipment Id need to purchase in addition to the bike. Another month and a half worth of asking if we could make it work without a formal answer I finally got an answer of no. They would do nothing to make up for the multiple large mistakes that had been made since theyre not making enough money on the bike at best maybe a bottle cage or something. Essentially, the entire season Ive been unable to ride as a result of this ongoing saga. Ive ultimately asked the order be cancelled with no new option for a bike since now the riding season is nearing end and all prior options are long gone. Largely walked away from what had been a great working relationship with feeling really taken advantage of and disrespected. Ive been referring many friends and teammates for new bike purchase and service but wont any longer. Similarly other friends have also had experiences bringing in their bikes for service with a quote and list of items to complete, only to have twice as much work done unapproved and the cost expected to be covered. Im not sure what happened to the shop I used to love to go to, but its not the same place in more ways than the pandemic has had impact over.

First time to this shop and brought two bikes for tune and parts.Very pleased with service and quality of work. Greeted at door and helped immediately.. Very knowledgeable and happy with quality work will be back for all of my bike needs.

I worked with Chloe Murdock to get my Specialized Allez into a better fitting position for myself. It was absolutely amazing to see the knowledge, tools, and process that she used to optimize my fit. This was a bike that I had for quite sometime, but never bothered to get it properly fit because, it worked. Its unbelievable cliche, but the improvement was amazing.To put it in perspective, Chloe did everything from check my flexibility to my pedal stroke and how my walking stride might impact a few issues I was experiencing. This is DEFINITELY not an amateur fit with no feedback. Chloe asked my goals and intentions and she optimized my fit for those scenarios. Going into it I was a bit hesitant as it was just a bike fit how much could actually change. Now, I can say it was probably one of the best purchases Ive made for my cycling.

I recently had a bike fit at Podium Multisports. I am fairly new to cycling and needed some adjustments on my current bike. Matt Cole took his time taking measurements, asking questions, and making sure the adjustments felt right to me. I was recently fitted by Matt at Podium Multisport to my Specialized Epic mountain bike. This was my first fitting and Matt walked me through the process, taking the time to explain and answer my questions. I felt pretty comfortable on my bike prior to the fitting, but we made a few minor adjustments and let me tell you what a difference the fitting made. Im no longer shifting in the saddle, more comfortable climbing, more confident descending, and really feel like the bike is an extension of me.If you havent been properly fitted before, i recommend you book a fitting now. Everything at Podium is a hands on, personalized experience. When I went in for a bike fitting, the level of attention I received was top notch. Not just a enter your measurements into a computer and dial in the bike based on a program, but a lot of trial and adjustments to eventually get where you need to be. In the end, turns out I was riding in a highly inefficient position for years, despite it being based on accurate numbers, and Podium got me more comfortable and faster with their approach.

Had an excellent fit with Chloe. Should have done this a long time ago. Once you realize the amount of time and dedication that you receive, whatever price it was seems like a pittance.

I came to Podium a week before my first century with AV200, and I must admit that I was a little hesitant for what they can actually do to help with my hip-knee-ankle pain problems. Before the bike fit with Matt, Id finish every medium ride with some serious pain that will take couple of days to recover from. During the 90 minutes bike fit session, Matt wanted to know more about my cycling history, goals, and source of pain. Matt successfully alleviated some pain when still on the trainer, but it wasnt until a week later when I successfully finished two centuries in 2 days with no joint pain whatsoever! The rest of Podiums team also worth mentioning since they took great care of my bike. Im very grateful to find this store. Podiums bike fit WORKS and WORTH every penny!

Great store. Great people. I got my new tri bike there. It needed a couple of minor adjustments over a couple of weeks (not due to errors on their part, but due to my preferences) and they took care of me every time. Also a great place for advice - they are all triathletes that know their stuff.

Had heard Matt Cole was one of the best in Atlanta for bike fits. I needed a road bike, so I scheduled an appointment. We went thru the Guru process, as well as some specific questions about my riding preferences and training/racing goals. When I came back for my follow-up, the bike was a perfect match. My Orbea is pink! My position is aggressive and aerodynamic, but still comfortable! Couldnt be more pleased.The shop was clean and well organized. Matt and Ed and the rest of the guys there are friendly, knowledgeable, and not overly pushy on sales. They truly want you to be happy on the bike buy.Would recommend Podium for all cycling and triathlon needs.. and Matt specifically for bike fitting and re-fitting.

I came to Chloe to optimize my fit on my current tri bike in anticipation of making a Kona qualifying time at IM Chattanooga 2018. I did not think that I could improve how I felt on my bike or that I could actually look like the pros but with the cool stuff Chloe had and the expertise she brought to the process it was eye opening. Matt Cole did an exceptional job fitting me to a Seven Cycles 622 SLX. I rode the bike 200 miles in one day and it was a breeze. The bike is an extension of me. every hand position is comfortable. On long rides on less than perfect roads the bumps are a minor issue. The 622 SLX that Matt recommended to me performed as promised.

I am a Cat 3 racer with tens of thousands of miles under my belt. For about a year I have been struggling with my fit so I decided to follow the recommendations of my teammates and visit Podium Multisport. I was very happy I did. Most of my fitting was done by Andy, although both Andy and Matt looked at me and consulted one another - thus I got two fitters for the price of one.The fitting began by filling out a form - similar to what you do when you walk into a doctors office: describing any issues and complaints that I have had as well as my goals and the type of riding that I do. Andy lowered my saddle and moved me forward. He also adjusted my cleats. In addition he instructed me on how to properly position myself on the bicycle and on the proper pedal stroke technique.One thing I thought was significant was realizing the amount of rocking side to side that I did on the bike. Since I rarely ride a trainer I dont really notice it. But while I was doing the fit it was quite apparent. Andy knew exactly what was wrong and silenced the rocking motion by making various adjustments.I felt noticeable relief immediately after the fit was done and simply felt more comfortable on the bike. After a couple of months I went back for a follow-up appointment. Since I have bought a new saddle in the mean time (which was installed at another shop) some of the rocking motion reappeared. Andy immediately noticed that although the saddle was installed well it was slightly off and was causing me to rock again. He promptly corrected it with a small adjustment. I was impressed by his ability to spot something so quickly and make exactly the adjustments needed in such a way that I could really notice the difference. It says something about knowing what you are doing versus simply trusting the computers.I highly recommend Podium. My experience shows that they are just as proficient in fitting road racers as they are in fitting triathletes.

This is my bike shop and I love my bike shop!So, if you plan to spend a lot of time on your bike then you want to get fitted for a bike that is going to be comfortable. Matt Cole, owner and fit extraordinaire, will take care of you as he took care of me and many people I ride with.I started my fit with filling out a form about me. We talked about what I wanted, what I was having problems with and what I was looking for in a bike. During the fitting, Matt looked at how I moved with various functional tests and gave me better advice then I have gotten from doctors. Then he measured me electronically and the fit bike magically moved into position for my measurements. Then I rode. Little adjustments here and there until it was right. For me.After that I knew I could trust him. I gave him my price range and Matt found me a bike, fitted everything on it, got me shoes with insoles and even showed me some exercises to do at home that will help with my strength deficiencies.I have ridden my bike and its fits! I have had no problem so far. And its so pretty!Podium also supplies all your cycling and multisport needs. Need to rent a wetsuit, check! Need bike maintenance, check! Need some cycling shoes, check! Great store, great customer service! A local bike ship you can trust and enjoy shopping in.
