I’ve eaten here many times (dine-in, take out, and delivery) and the quality is very inconsistent. Today’s was extra disappointing— the crusts were overly floured (biting it would leave my lips covered in the dusting and all over my hands), and specifically the margherita had so much crust to toppings ratio. I didn’t dock more stars since I have had great pizza here before, just wish it was more consistent.

This place is great to go to for lunch or dinner. Its located right in the middle of Atlanta.The service here was accurate and speedy. The staff had excellent customer service and were very helpful. The restaurant is clean and up kept. The taste of the Pizza was amazing. The menu has a moderate selection of items for what yourein the mood for.The food price is decent. My experience here was great. They have multiple TVs in size to watch sports on and there is an outside eating. I will definitely return again.

Got two gluten free cauliflower crust pies and one regular pepperoni. The gluten free ones had really good flavor. Needed a bit longer in the oven as the crust was not at all crispy on the bottom. Unfortunately, it was the same story with the regular Pepe, needed more time in the oven for that crispy undercarriage. Good flavor all around, but personally I like a crispy crust so not my favorite pizza in ATL. If youre looking for a good gluten free option in Midtown its not a bad option though so that bumped it up from 3 to 4 stars for me.

This place is fantastic. I am in Atlanta for the ACS Fall meeting and discovered this pizza place two nights ago. I got the roost pizza on the first night and immediately fell in love with it. The roost: Italian chicken sausage, sautéed spinach, roasted Portobello, sun-dried tomato, Mozzarella-provolone, garlic, goat cheese, pesto.I would visit at least twice every time Im in Atlanta.

I had the Caesar salad and added grilled chicken. It was pretty good and Im not sure if they make their own Caesar dressing or not but it was delicious.

They have great pizzas and the garlic knots are amazing. Its a different, more traditional style of pizza, which some people are not used to: the dough is thin and crunchy and with little cheese. I usually get takeout and it usually takes between 15 to 20 minutes to be ready. The actual restaurant is well lit, more more noisy than Im confortable with, especially since they get pretty busy on weekends.

Great spot to eat outside. Pizza is legit and awesome drink selection.

Its hard to be surprised with good food in Atlanta anymore. Luckily, Atwoods was a very nice surprise.Wandering around Midtown Sunday morning and ran across their location. It appeared that we were the first customers of the day. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We sat outside. The shrubs provide a good buffer from the local traffic. As for the pizza, its easily at the top of any pizza we have had in the Atlanta area. Neapolitan style pizza at its finest. Great beer selection as well. If you are in doubt - check them out.Looking forward to our return visit.

Atwood’s is very yummy pizza!!!! I went with a friend and we split the margarita pizza and the Alfredo pasta. Plenty of food for us!! Food comes out quick, indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lot of fun pizzas or you can build your own. Good crust. Definitely go if you are in the area and want good pizza

The pizza at Atwoods is always good. The other stuff (subs, salads, wings) on the menu is a little disappointing. The pizza never disappoints though!

The Staff are nice, but don’t bus nor clean the sparse uninspired tabling - it’s SARS-coV-2 season, people; the plates are styrofoam seeming; the salad is drenched in generically thickened dressing; the Atwood signature pizza is bland and tasteless of sauce and cheese— I’d order a blank dough though, seemed like if I’d take that home put butter and honey on it, it’d be delicious.

Food was made quickly. Garlic knots were like rocks, very dry and stale. Brussel sprouts were good. Also had a mini cannoli - it was okay, but had a very strong medicinal aftertaste.

Typically like this place, but they seem to have gone down hill. Ordered a Cypress pizza on 08/07/2021. It is supposed to come with hamburger steak, fontina/cheddar, tomato, bacon, garlic and special sauce. My pizza had no hamburger steak whatsoever. Very disappointing.

Ive been to Atwoods a few times and have loved their food in the past. This most recent visit we decided to order online for takeout (and trusted it would be good, as it was before). When we got home we found just about half of both pizzas badly burned on the bottom and crust. My wife and I were really disappointed that they were willing to let two pizzas go out the door like this.

I ordered a simple margherita pizza. Very bad - Straight up ZERO sauce and ZERO cheese. It was all bread an orange in color. Tasted like someone turned Kraft mac n cheese into a pizza. Also this was my cheat meal for the week so I’m upset as hell.

No one, from the men preparing the pizza, to the woman slicing the pizza with her face close to it is wearing a mask. Used to be my fav spot, but if they dont care about possibly spreading covid that answers how the feel about their customers

Absolutely delicious! Pizza done with original care— how pizza should be enjoyed. My friends and I had different ones but each was soooo tasty. I had the Rob—bee. It has honey. I also love the hot oil drizzle and oiled pepper flakes.

Super late review considering I havent lived in Atlanta for about a year. But I used to live in Biltmore apartments for about a year. (The apartments right next to Atwoods) I used to get food from here all the time because of how conveniently close it was. I was living there from the very beginning of the covid situation. I would get take out from here at least once a week. (I was a regular I suppose) All the pizzas were really good, consistently. The garlic knots were delicious. The employees were all pleasant and friendly.One time I tried to order garlic knots online a bit late in the evening, but it turned out they shut down the fryer a bit early so they werent able to make them for me. The manager called me up personally to apologize, refunded me, and gave me a free pizza the next day. Top tier service. Glad to support businesses such as this place during that tough time. Will definitely visit again when Im back in Atlanta!

Atwood Pizza was great solice to us after an ATL United loss. The pizza was fantastic perfect ratios of crust, sauce, cheese and toppings to help you experience all the flavors.

Good, but definitely not Napoli style pizza despite what the box suggests. More like an east coast thin crust pizza - crust too thick, too weighted with toppings, not enough leoparding for Neapolitan. Flavor was good

I knew when I saw the reviews I just had to check this place out! This is officially my new neighborhood pizza joint. Atmosphere is pretty casual with communal seating. Depending on what time of the day you dine in, it can get pretty packed. You order from the calendar and then choose your seating. They actually text you when your pizza is ready which is pretty cool! The pizza is delicious and the flavor combinations are fantastic. My go to is the BEE Me Up Scotty. I love the hot honey and goat cheese. The crust is not too thick and is perfectly crisped. I also appreciate all the free extras (sriracha, chili oil, Parmesan, etc). They have 2 pizza sizes: 8/12 but the 8 is no available after 5pm. Parking can be tricky as I have only seen street parking.

The pizza here is great and so is everyone who works here. Def a repeat customer.

Unquestionably our favorite pizza place in Atlanta. Doesnt hurt that we live close... Their topping combinations are creative and SO good (Lazy Cat is my go-to) and the staff is always friendly and quick. Crusts have the perfect ratio of being crunchy and chewy without being tough or dry. Garlic knots are DECADENT. Highly recommend for takeout, or if its nice out, there are a few tables too.

Atwood’s has great pizza! It’s fast, convenient, and the staff are friendly. The salads are pretty great too. Temperature on the inside of the restaurant is very cold. Outdoor seating is nice though. Price point is perfect. Only downside is they’ve messed up my order 2 out of the 5 times I’ve ordered. Come with a small to large group and enjoy!

Pretty fast service and the pizza has a very unique taste. Also perfect size for the price! Garlic knots reminded me of funnel cakes? But they were good alongside marinara dipping sauce. Wings were very tasty as well.

Pizza was the best weve ever had but the service was was worst experience and they completely forgot to send a whole meal that we ordered. So, we had to split the one meal that was actually delivered.

I love this place and the food to preface. I ordered online for a delivery order. I get my order and there are none of the Brussel sprouts that I ordered. I called to discuss this and the place had just closed so no one answers. I got voicemail and they said their voicemail was full so I couldn’t leave a message. All I wanted were my brussel sprouts and now I paid $9 for nothing. So disappointed.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant or food. Just the price. Really good pizza for it being a small hole in the wall place but it is pricy. A 12 inch pizza will run you $15 easily. Otherwise very very good.

Great thin crust pizzas! They have about a dozen specialty pizzas and of course a BYO choice. I went with my latest go-to order of Italian sausage, bacon, and pineapple. The toppings were fresh and the ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings was perfect. Very friendly and accommodating staff too!

I have always loved their pizzas and get them to go frequently, however yesterday i got a long black hair on my 2 pizzas. One on each!! like what are the odds of finding one on each. Maybe it was purposely done. Hairs were under the cheese with the ingredients.

Weve been struggling to find a good pizza place since we moved to Atlanta from NY. Weve found a few places, but some of the NY-style places we like dont deliver, or dont have a full menu; other popular Italian-style places cater to the college crowd, or charge a premium because, I dont know, they were the first in the area? Dont see whats so special about them otherwise. But finally, we found Atwoods, and theyre everything we were looking for. Delicious Neapolitan pies, with inventive toppings if you want them, solid tradition if you dont, either way with the best ingredients and cooked to perfection, all at a reasonable price. We will be regular customers from here on out. My wife also wants me to add that the garlic knots are the best shes ever had, and Ill say the same about the canolli, it had a refreshing twist of almond with a perfectly crispy shell. Atwoods. I cant recommend them enough.

I had the pesto pizza with pepperoni and black olives. It was AMAZING! The crust is the perfect thickness, and my pizza was delicious. The service was refreshingly quick, polite, and friendly. Nothing beats a quality brick oven baked pizza done right! 💖💖💖

I looked this place before going in and I was surprised for the rating. But my experience was completely different.The pizza is just ok, nothing bad but nothing outstanding. The place is small and casual which I like but feels like they can take care of it better. Dont get me wrong but I wouldnt recommend this place if you really want something good. Maybe for a quick stop its okay.

Definitly running with the best of the best pizza from my trips to Napoli, Italy (birthplace of Pizza). New management put in work. Dont know, but Im glad for it!

Very good I luv the brussel sprout salad

We were looking to try a different pizza place so we found Atwoods Pizza Cafe and decided to drive in from Marietta to try it. It was excellent! We tried a white based pizza and a red and both were delicious. As good as the pizza was, the garlic knots stole the show. These are some of the best knots my wife and I have tried anywhere. Side salad was crisp, fresh and the dressing delicious too. Easy 5 stars.

Gave 1 star because pizza arrived late and cold and although it wasnt their fault, management wouldnt follow up with door dash like he said he would when door dash stated I made payment to the restaurant directly.

I have been a loyal customer since the restaurant opened a year back and am sad to say they are losing their touch.Their menu has changed quite a bit since they started out and theyve lost a few of my favorite items including their goat cheese Brussel sprouts.While that isnt entirely life changing, what Im about to say is.I went in yesterday (a saturday afternoon) and found a crowded restaurant. I decided to order my pizza anyways (the BEE me up scotty) and happily waited for it. I had traveled about 35 minutes from the Mableton area for dinner and was particularly excited.After I had revieved my order and took it home however, I found a LONG BLACK HAIR on a slice I had just bitten. Disgusted, I took it out, and put down the slice.A guest came over later and had grabbed some of the left overs to find ANOTHER LONG BLACK HAIR on THEIR slice.Does atwoods not make their employees wear hair nets? Im disgusted and dissapointed.No longer worth the drive for hair, filthy, food

My coworker recommended this place after discovering it on one of his many explorations downtown. When I had a moment I had to try it too. I thought it was delicious and the price wasnt terrible. Im a fan of light, crispy crust. I recommend the Show Me Your Roni as an introduction to the menu. Definitely the best pizza in the area.

Love this place! The food is amazing and the staff is just as great. One of our favorite spots in midtown. Whenever we have friends or family visiting from out of town we always take them here and it’s always a hit.

Ive come here before and enjoyed it, but today they did not have it together. I will acknowledge they said they were understaffed and the food would take 30~ minutes, but after an hour of waiting it was apparent we had just been completely forgotten. I asked for a refund and got it, no apology or anything for wasting my lunch hour.Its a shame, its not bad food but seems to be poorly managed. Makes me wonder what other oversights occur in the kitchen.Edit: Added a star because the response from the business was reasonable... makes me think I did just hit a bad day.

I love this place. Its on the fringe of a college campus in beautiful downtown Atlanta. The scene is a lively place where you can eat outside and people watch under the stars.Note: I cannot figure out why New Yorkers come to a different place comparing the authenticity of a pizza place that isnt in NY. Doesnt it make sense that in order to get New York Pizza you probably should go to New York? Its an unreasonable comparison as so many conditions are different.That being said i went to Atwoods with a friend of mine from NJ. She said this was as close to New York pizza that Ive had since living in AtlantaI think it was very good Pizza. Their veggie Pizza looked delicious. I had the pepperoni. If youre in Atlanta near Atlantic station and want pizza I think this is the place to go.

Nice hole in the wall space. The root beer on draft was a fun splurge. Worth it at least once. And the pizza I got had a hot honey on it. I would definitely get it again if I wasnt so curious about how good the others might be
