Late night dinner with family. Food was good. Some interesting selections too! I had a veggie sandwich that was outstanding! My son had chicken and waffles. Also ordered turkey club ( I think) and a Caesar wrap, and a Reuben. One thing...the Reuben was a little short on meat...my brother mentioned this and they brought more meat for him. All in all, good food. Good experience!
This diner has been an institution for a long time. It is the typical diner on Long Island with a wonderful selection that is reasonably priced, and offers a quality for that price that cannot be matched. There are breakfast and dinner specials that are worth ordering. It is a popular destination and parking can be difficult given the location, but it is worth it. The staff are friendly and have taken precautions given the pandemic as well. This is a must visit in my opinion.
Good food, friendly staff. They have a large menu which made it hard to decide what to get.The Roslyn Wrap comes with asparagus and we assumed it would be grilled but was raw. Once we took that out it was good.
Waitress was not very attentive. We had to ask several times to get water glasses refilled. No lemon was given with the Fried calamari Appetizer my son ordered.. Service was horrible food was mediocre And a bit pricey
Always consistent, delicious, predictable with plenty of menu choices. Service is quick, professional and efficient. Your cup of coffee is never empty. This is my go to place to meet a friend for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night treat on the way back home from the city or Hamptons. Nice variety of seating and the decor is nicer than a typical Long Island diner. Plenty of parking behind the building if you cant find a spot in front.
Great experience bringing with 13 others. We were seated upstairs. It was just our group. The waitress was super! Great service, and delicious food!
I actually take my mom to Landmark Diner which I believe has it’s roots in Scobee Diner in little Neck. Which we all miss so very much. Landmark is a great place nice open seating and two floor. My and my mind eggs are always perfect . I would recommend to all .
Great breakfast foods. Our server blondie was excellent!
I ordered the moussaka and got my kid the chicken finger and fries meal. The chicken finger kids meal comes with 4 huge chicken fingers and dessert. My moussaka didn’t come with anything, which I found odd because usually American diners give you a bread basket if you’re not ordering breakfast, burgers, or a sandwich. We sat upstairs, and it was quieter, but service was a bit lackluster. My glass of water was only filled once. I think our server was overwhelmed maybe? Decent diner food with typical diner prices. I’m glad they have kids meals available. Try the moussaka when you’re there.
The best tune Melt of your life hands. I could of died happy and had no regrets.
Crowded on weekends..Make reservations but all parties must be there to be seated.
Its a nice big space with two floors. Menu has a wide variety and has Gulen free food. One of the very few kitchens that cook the food the way you ask. Prices are average. Big plus big parking lot.
We always enjoy our lunches at the Landmark. They have delicious chicken noodle soup.
Clean ! Well established Diner. Excellent friendly 👌 customer service. Food is great .Had a Belgium 🇧🇪 Waffle with a fried 🍳 egg on top tasty 😋 reasonable prices great place for breakfast, will check back when I have lunch there or 🍽 dinner. I recommend 👌 this place to others 👍
The avocado toast was out of this world. I will be dreaming about it till next time. Friendly professional service.
Coming from outside of NY, the menu is pretty pricey. Not sure if thats normal for the area or just the diner though.Good food though
Great diner in long Island in town of Roslyn. Great food, friendly staff. Great find. Its also the only 2 story diner in the US, so we were told.
My husband and I had lunch. Food was delicious/satisfying. Surprised rating had only 4.1 stars. Waiter was accommodating and courteous.
Great diner food fare! The bannana nutella french toast was excellent! My husbands Ruben was great.
Good for eggs or a burger, but stay away from the sliced ribeye steak sandwich. Its tough and fatty. Big disapointment.
The server was really nice along with the setting. The food was good as well I just think it was a little pricey. $42 for six pancakes egg whites and cheese. Ginger ale and cranberry juice. They have vegan items as well and gluten free. Good menu options.
Clean, and staff was helpful and friendly. This was my first visit so I cant judge overall food quality, but the burger was outstanding; fries were pretty good. Tomatoes and lettuce were standard diner fare. Well worth a visit
We had breakfast here...the staff very attentive and professional...food was good, but a bit pricey.
Great Gluten free options. Great salads too
The food is excellent and the service is spot on. Im not really a fussy eater but I ordered the BLT and was thrilled at how perfect the ratio of ingredients was. Sounds silly, but I usually have to pick things off or rearrange but everything we ordered was perfect.
Okay food, nice employees BUT why give ONLY 2 ladies the entire upstairs to cover. Service was so slow. Please do better, hire more ppl to work.
Very crowded points to good all around ...Fast service, two floors, parking always moving
Great service, I got French Onion soup, Mac & Cheese bites and the Rubenesque with seedless bread. Absolutely Incred. It was so good I didn’t get dessert. I didn’t want to ruin a perfect meal.
Good restaurant. Great selection. Very good service.
A new hairdresser Moise blew out my hair. It was fabulous! He made a suggestion to try different look. People at work noticed the next day. Worth a try ladies and gents!
I really like there food, always nice sized portions.
The water smelled as I drank it. So, I stopped. I asked for another water. I put my nose over the rim, took a whiff and that water also smelled. It was not soap. It was a bad bad smell.I was there with a friend and didn’t want to be dramatic. So, I stayed for my burger and fries. Besides, the waiter was very nice.I ordered coffee, hoping the heat would kill any smells. Smell was kinda stuck in my nose though. The sesame burger bun looked great, BUT was not soft. The sliced tomatoes were whitish pink - not red. I ate the burger off the bun with a knife and fork and the meat was good. The fries were good. The bathroom was disgusting.
Delicious food, service could have been a little better, but manager came through in fine fashion
Chicken was a bit dry, Shepards pie was good but tomato based which I didnt mind. Nice for a dinner, staff was exceptional!
Food was excellent. First time there. Very pleasant atmosphere and great people.
Waitresses & waiters are cordial, pleasant, professional. They aim to please. The kitchen prepares the meals, as you like it. Thanks. 👍👍
Big comfortable place clean great atmosphere good food reasonable prices friendly attentive staff great place for breakfast lunch dinner
Service was very slow & the food was lack luster. I had a BLT. Not nearly enough bacon, the tomatoes had no flavor, & it had lettuce. My fries were luke warm. Will not be going back!
Great food and good size orders. Slower than usual service but we didnt want to be rushed do it worked well.
Very good food, great staff. First two-story Diner I was in. Huge selection.
The food and service were great. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 stars was because the New England clam chowder was not as thick as it should be. It was full of clamd but the consistency was watery. The chicken pot pie that I had was really good. Full of big pieces of chicken and vegetables and a delicious crust. My wife had the veggie burger which isnt for me but she said its delicious and not the bean type which she doesnt like. The waitress we had was very attentive and polite. When they say the landmark diner it really is its been there forever.
Just ok food. Not worth going back. The place was clean, service ok.
Food was good. Service was good too
The food was delicious. There was plenty of healthy choices.
Delicious. I had the banana foster French toast. The French toast was crispy on the outside and creamy and custardy on the inside. My daughters burger was perfectly cooked as well. The place is clean and has a modern but traditional diner feel. The price is a few dollars more than other diners but it is worth it. Choosing not to go here because it is a bit costly is being penny wise and pound foolish.
Veggie burger was outstanding! I loved it! Management and service were all pleasant. We will definitely go back.
Smoked salmon eggs Benedict 🔥🔥🔥🔥 love this place ! Great staff, great service !
Was there for my son birthday on 5/15 great time, great service, food excellent.
Weve been coming here for brunch for years. The food was good and our waitress Debbie was great as usual.
Felt very rushed and the wait staff was very rude the food also gave us a stomach ache
SUCH!! Good food, so delicious. Good portions, such good service. Can’t get much better
They have good burgers. I would recommend the jack Daniels or the dirty mac burgers
I enjoyed the services and had a good meal.
Nice breakfast, French toast was great
Rude waitress on a Friday night…if you don’t like your job you should quit.
Food was good. Staff was nice. It was a good time with family!
Sat at the Bar and they only had 1 guy serving drinks for the whole place at 5:30 on a Friday night happy hour. Had to keep asking for refills.
It took a long time and the food was ok not amazing like its high prices would suggest
Love the service and food Soo Good!!
Friendly service, late night breakfast....love it.
Food was ok, service was great.
Been going here since I wasborn.Great food and friendly staff
Omg, went straight to breakfast after our 2nd V, awesome, ended taking more then half home, food and service was great!!!!
A nice meal in an historic restaurant
Mediocre food....I had a burger deluxe it was tasteless. And the waiter and hostess were awful. Not friendly hardly spoke made me feel uncomfortable asking if I could sit down.. will definitely not come back
I ordered a French Dip. It came with cold Roast Beaf on a hamburger bun and melted cheese that I had to pay extra for the cheese. The fries or union rings you had to also pay extra for. So what they call a French Dip is cold Roast Beaf on a hamburger bun. Anything other than that you had to pay extra for. I paid $21.00 for a Roase Beaf sandwich. The only good thing was the waiter. He was very nice. I Do Not recommend this Establishment For anything except coffee.
The best breakfast everythings good here
Attentive staff, food is 100% comfort food competitively priced. Always a pleasure to eat there with friends. Fantastic jack Daniels steak sandwich.
Great food! I don’t like that the carbs options like the pancakes, waffles and French toast don’t come with the option to include eggs or bacon but still good. You can always add it on but I don’t like normal add-on prices. :(
Had the skirt steak and omg it was terrible bland they didnt even season it for 34$ I would expect it to be better, the calamari was not edible you can tell it had been frozen since 1992. At least the salad was okay which is why Im even giving it 2 stars.
This was an awesome diner that has history. Quality food and wonderful staff.
Food just ok. Service was slow with only one waiter on duty
15 mins, no one came to our table so we left
It was a take out order was ready and good
Great food, great service. Will return.
Eggs Benedict was delicious. 2nd floor is nice and cozy and allowed for extra social distancing. Server was very attentive and extra pleasant.
The apple caramel French toast was amazing!
I found this diner to be very good the food was cooked just right and the service was excellent
Normally one of my favorite places to eat. They take food allergies very seriously and have a great selection we all can eat. Recently went there and the portions were way smaller and food quality was not the same. I have a feeling it is just because of recent events though, I hope so!
Large menu and variety of foods
Excellent staff make you feel like family. The menu is awesome tons of selection to choose from.
Simply went for appetizers. They were good zucchini sticks, coconut shrimp.Waiters attentive friendly didnt feel rushed made to feel comfortable
Didnt like the pizza breakfast but everything else was good.
Ok food and service. Normal run of the mill diner.
First time and Im definitely going back!! Food was great and they have a vegan section on the menu....
I thought the turkey burger would be phenomenal but it wasnt . And it was very very expensive. They charged separate for the mushrooms they charged separate for the cheese I thought they were going to charge separate for the bun. I would have to try other things on the menu to compare. It was not a good first impression.
I love diners. Where I live, the diners arent like they are down state. The Landmark Diner was a perfect place to have a late dinner or an early breakfast. The food is plentiful and tasty, the staff is friendly and efficient. The decor brings me back to when I lived down state. It was a great experience.
Went today. Had blueberry pancakes which had an abundance of blueberries in them. Very good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Greatest breakfast, I had the breakfast burritto
