The most rude company and have no problem stealing the only of livelihood from a known single mother. Also saw my car being driven around by different people, truly makes me wonder what really happens at this horrible business. The tow truck driver yelled in my face and the smell off liquor seeped thru his pores and from his breath. They are an absolute nightmare

My car broke down, so I called my auto insurance and a towing car was on the way to help me. A policeman arrived at the scene. That was uncalled for because there was no accident or law breaking involved. He told me that I cant use my auto insurance provider and called sterry st. A sterry st towing truck showed up, loaded my car and took it away because I didnt have enough cash in my wallet to pay for the towing at the car repair shop (where an auto mechanic was waiting for us). sterry st towing does sleazy business, it only takes cash. I offered to paid with debit or credit but the rude tow truck driver refused. This happened at 4pm. The next day at 10 am I went to pick up my car and I was charged for 2 nights and 1 day. In reality, the car was there for 1 night. I paid $400 and the car insurance only reimbursed me for 1 night ($150). The receptionist hung up the phone when I asked for directions. On google maps, the address listed on sterry towings business card took me to a small house, so it is done so to be intentionally misleading. This business hides under a bridge and is very prolific. Why Attleboros police specifically called sterry st towing? Karma is real and the Universe has a way to give you exactly what you deserve (probably it already did).

Terrible to employees . Will work u around the clock and dont care about family things and sometimes you wont get full paid for your work.

I was in an accident on 495 when another vehicle ran me off the road. The police called Sterry Street Towing to tow my vehicle away. I was very shaken up I had my little dog Roy with me he was scared to death. The driver of the tow truck allowed me to bring Roy in his tow truck that was such a relief to me. when we arrived back at the towing shop the girls in the office were so helpful they gave Roy water and helped me calm him down. I am hoping to never have another accident but if I do I hope this is the company to help me. My car was totaled but they walked me threw calling the insurance company and getting all the paper work settled.

I came here to get my car. My car needed a jump and I needed to pay 45 dollars she then proceeded to hang up on me. This was uncalled for and hugely upsetting. The receptionist can do better I was heart broken.

Car was towed here. Staff was nice. Nothing stolen from the car. I was allowed to grab our meds and phones.

Worst Towing experience ever. Few years back I had loose lugs and needed a tow. Driver came out and when he put the car onto the truck bed he tore off the whole front fender, told me not to worry they would take care of me. And when I went to pick up the car, owner of the company told me the driver denied the incident and refused to take responsibility. Costliest Tow EVER.. went from stripped studs to front end repair. Can’t ever forget this.

Most pleasant towing experience ever, hands down. Beautiful & clean space to wait and very kind employees. Office staff were so nice I forgot all about my inconveniences and left there smiling. Best of all, very fair price.

What a fantastic company. Not only did the receptionist treat me kindly and accommodate me within the hour, the tow truck service man was amazing! CJ took his time taking my car off the truck which is a vintage Volkswagen. I was a little tentative about moving my car, so he stayed to make sure it was parked correctly and running well. I have never dealt with a tow truck company as professional as this one. And it wasn’t even expensive..last time I used a tow truck company for the same exact distance and AAA charge me only eight dollars less than this place did for private pay. Wish I lived in Attleboro because I would use them all the time!

One driver hit my siding on my house when dropping a car in my driveway. It was a Tennants vehicle. The driver broke the siding on my house. I went into thier office for 3 years asking them to repair my house and all I got was my brother is busy but hell get to your house, I guess the owners brother does that type of work.. This was probably 5 to 6 years now still havnt fixed my house. How professional is that.

I have been a mechanic for 40 years, today i have seen a tow truck operator with exceptional skills.A garbage truck had a broken frame, it was folded in half. The operator put the frame back in position using his wheel lift and dual pull winches. He took great care of the customers truck and his own- not a scratch. The truck was chained secure and moved.Awesome job a learning experience for me, thank you.

I would not trust this company at all. I did not even use the company, but the truck RAN US OFF THE ROAD in Florida. Rhode Island Plate #76310. He was not staying in his lane for miles and then would suddenly change lanes with no signal, causing us to get pushed into the shoulder. We will be making a formal complaint.

I needed a tow from Attleboro to Holbrook Extremely time sensitive. Driver came promptly, started driving to Holbrook. we got halfway there and Sterry St called my tow driver and made him turn around to tow another car back in Attleboro. I would have been in Holbrook by 4:30 . By the time we drove back to Attleboro, toward another car, dropped it off and went back to Holbrook,we didnt arrive until after 6p . I missed an important 5pm appointment and missed picking up my rental car. Never use Sterry St Tow unless you have several hours to spend driving around in a tow truck. . By the way, I paid a discounted rate ofover $200 for this service The driver. Matt, was the saving grace in my experience. Very courteous and apologetic, a real pr . Give Matt a raise and make him manager

Called twice and every time I spoke to someone they were rude.Trying to find their main office is a glitch. If you look up Sterry Street Towing it will take you to a residential home that is 24 Rice Street (as the site & business card says). If you type in East Collision on your GPS, it will take you to the correct location.I called the office for assistance and the man who answered the phone couldn’t help. Instead of saying, “if you keep going down Rice Street, you will see a large building that says East Coast Collision. Our office is located there.”No, he had to make it so difficult to find. Mind you, they have this itty bitty sign facing an angle that you can barely see that says Sterry Street Towing. You’ll see it when you walk up to the door.I’ve gotten better customer service at Dunk.

Sterry Street Towing was very helpful to me. I wasnt in the best mood after finding out my car had been towed from the train station. I called and the friendly woman stated they did close at 5 but she would have someone come meet me to give me my car back tonight. The driver was super friendly, came right away and I was able to get my car back I would call Sterry Street if I needed anything and I will pay attention to where I park from now on.

Car was in an accident and car went here,the front license plate was gone because they threw away the front bumper cover,plus the back window was smashed,then driver tried removing my expensive plate holder and he used wire cutters instead of a plier or channel lock,proper towing co will always put broken parts in the vehicle,not throw bumper and front plate away,It cost more for new plates thanks to them,it was not our fault but still cost us money,dont have car towed by these inexperienced drivers that cant use the correct tool to remove a rear license plate!

My Truck broke down.... I called these guys as they were the closest to My location. I Placed a call around 10:40am.... They said it would be a 90 min wait, which is ok with me. At 12:43, I received a call from Them saying that the Driver was on his way, but when I asked for an ETA, they said they will be there shortly. At 13:30 they called again and said the Driver was about 30 minutes away. Then they asked for a payment. I told them I had been waiting for 3 hours for a tow Truck that never showed up and they were concerned about making a payment for a service they never provided?.. These people are clowns plus the ridiculous price they were going to charge of $350 for an 8 mile tow was way too much.... Instead I called Schlagers Towing.... guess what?... Much more professional service, They arrived in less than 30 min and much cheaper than these other people...Don’t waste your time waiting on these people, there are much faster places with way better prices around....

Dont like em at all. Had a bad experience, they could have helped us out instead of just jacking us for 3X the price it should have been, and taking our car hostage for four days. It was a simple break down and they really couldnt have made things more difficult and expensive. I yelped them badly, and the boss actually called me up personally. Ill give him that. But, he and his company can and will treat you unfairly when they could easily lend a helping hand. No credit card machine, theyll only take cash, ridiculous. Thanks again Fred, great talk.

The driver who picked me and my Toyota up, Edwin, was super awesome! (THANK YOU EDWIN!) He got there really quick! Thank goodness. I had given the wrong coordinates and he still managed to find me! I called Amanda, the woman answering the phones, to let her know my phone was on 2 % and would probably die and I was kind of freaking out because it was getting dark. She called Edwin and let him know right away and he was there within 10 minutes of my call! They both really were professional and a lot of help! I will recommend this company to anyone who may need their services in the future!

Horrible experience attelboro police would not allow me to call AAA. Had no choice but to have this company tow my car. The charges for a 4 mile tow $433.00! That is highway robbery! What a racket!

Outstanding service

I was in Providence from out of town and magically had both rear tires go flat...nobody had any in stock in my size. Most companies didnt want to drive me all the way back to Connecticut, but Bobby showed up in 30 minutes ready to go.If that wasnt bad enough, when we got to my tire shop, my phone fell out and broke against the pavement. Without a hitch he offered me a ride back to my house free of charge.I wholeheartedly recommend these guys.

My 2015 Nissan Altima was towed to this establishment after an accident. When I went to pick up my car the following day, the charge was 292$. I paid the money with no argument, but when I saw the cost breakdown and 75$ was for winching and cleanup, I told the employee that my car was not winched, since they drove it onto the platform under its own power. I was then told that it was for the cleanup, to which I replied that no cleanup was needed for my car, since no parts fell off. Of a certainty, the other car involved in the accident was winched and did need cleanup. When I explained to them that they charged me for a service that was never rendered, I was told by an older man (possibly the manager), that all cars receive that extra charge. I responded that that was not good business practices, charging customers for services not rendered. The older man sarcastically stated that they werent doing well and thanked me for the suggestion. Shame on Sterry Auto for charging clients for unrendered services! This is called theft, please change your ways. This is truly deceptive and horrendous business practices. My only desire is that you take the 75$ stolen from me and other customers and replace the tattered American flag on the flagpole in the main entrance. Shameful!

I have only been here by force from an accident that happened in MA. They Are Not Liable For Lost, Damaged or Stolen Property! Not a good idea for good business practices & highly unfair under the circumstances! I had things damaged - because of having my back door left open by someone other than me in a long rainstorm & my things were rummaged through, food eaten & crumbled all over, & brand new magazines I never opened or read & saved for donations to elderly got soaked, as did my floor! When I told them they shook their heads threw up their hands & said animals get in & we arent liable & it is stated on the contract. Besides - none of our guys would do that. They have a fence- though not w/ barbed wire attached or electric & cameras. Doesnt do much good& they do not explain things well ahead of time. You literally have to ask them how things work. I signed over my truck just to get my stuff out- bc the tow guy said it looked totalled bc the tire rod was busted along w/ the passenger side light assembly, fender & tire got buckled under so badly it caused so much damage I figured it would cost more than the book value to fix, & I wasnt at fault. Be wary.

They could have let me know they could have towed my car to my parking that was less than a mile of my house. Rather than Rob me of hundreds of dollars in storage fees.

Horrible customer service. Said it would be about 2 hours ETA. 2 hours past I called them then they said 3 hours. I called back in an hour. Understandably they were busy but the woman on the phone accuses me of having an attitude after i told her my phone was dead and I was calling to update my contact info needless to say they never came to tow my car. I was waiting over 5 hours and they never called saying they were canceling or anything. I was in my car with no heat in 8° weather waiting on a tow that would never come.

I have been using Sterry Street Towing for years now. I cant begin to say how wonderful everyone within the company is, esp today. If it was not for the driver and awesome office staff I would still be stuck on 95 in Pawtucket as we speak. Thank you again !Mr John Martins would be proud !

Guy was extremely rude on the phone. I call for information and he was constantly trying to tell me where to get my car fixed. Because I declined several times he told me I was being rude and hung up the phone on me.

Vehicle was towed from an accident scene. Went 3 days later to retrieve items. Some jewelry I had in the middle console was missing. I had taken it off about an hour prior to the accident due to being pregnant and swollen hands and fingers, so I know it was there before they took possession of my vehicle. Very disappointed during an already stressful and hurtful time, someone would then use the opportunity to steal.

I ran out of fuel 15 miles south of them, and they told me they couldn’t help me out.

They didnt push for any money as my insurance took care of it all.

Check your car before leaving, they scratched my car and denied it!
