Bestbuy is horrible will never buy a computer from them again. During shipping from bestbuy to asus damage was done. That damage was not there when I dropped off my laptop. Because they claim they can’t prove how it appeared they want me to pay for it and claim the warranty does not cover for it even though the warranty covers damage including water damage and a replacement computer for free for a year. I will never go to them ever again!!! Worst experience ever!

Have purchased multiple laptops here over the years and worked with Kyle to purchase my most recent one. I was looking for a very specific type of laptop as it is for school and I need it to run certain high performance programs well. Kyle was so nice and patient with me (as I had a lot of questions) he is clearly very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect one! Would definitely recommend buying a laptop here!
Nice sales staff. As hard as I keep trying to buy local, the retailers just dont stock their stores anymore. Shelves more than half empty. And they say you can order it online. Do they not realize if people keep having to go online, they will be out of a job???
DJ did an amazing job and was very helpful. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable that I got the right laptop that best suits my needs.
They have great deals on electronics. I just recently bought a DJI drone from that place and let me tell you it is amazing. Ive used it to film a lot of stuff. I also bought a laptop for the go so I can edit the footage.

While I’m not typically one to write reviews let alone negatives ones, I feel like in this situation it’s absolutely necessary. Without writing a thesis on the experience of my friend’s recent purchase, I’ll just say he’s a new homeowner who purchased all of his kitchen appliances with guaranteed delivery dates and is still without them a month later. To make matters worse, he struggled to get in touch with this participate Best Buy about his order, the deliver of it and he still isn’t clear when he’ll have everything. It’s truly unfortunate when places as such give customers high expectations but miserably fail with terrible customer service. Management hasn’t even taken the time to try to accommodate him for the inconveniences Best Buy has created. Corporate needs to get involved because this is ridiculous.
Good store with with a good selection of electronics and appliances. They have some really nice high end products from Kitchen Aid, Thermador and GE Cafe. The employees are also very helpful.
This Best Buy is completely out of everything. Other Best Buys have things in stock, but this one barely can stock their shelves.
While the store itself was fine, the fact that I ordered a TV for delivery and they kept postponing the delivery has me irked. The final time they said it was out for delivery and they just never showed up. I finally canceled the order and just picked it up from the store myself. Don’t offer a service if you’re not going to honor it.
Holy cow, you guys!We just had an exceptional experience at the Auburn Hills location. Our family of 3 showed up at 10am, it was our daughter’s 12th birthday, and she wanted a lap top! Her dad had quite a few specifications that he wanted her laptop to have. AC was there to help us right away! He presented us with all the options, that matched what we were looking for, and offered us fun things that we didn’t even know we needed, until he made the suggestion. We ended up with a much nicer product than what we came for and spent what we expected. AC is a customer service ninja! We were really impressed with the level of service he provided! I would buy anything from this guy! What a treat!
Best Buy does not back up the products they sell. I will not shop there anymore. Consider yourself warned.

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on-line late last year (2020). We started having issues with it leaking. Frigidaire was very helpful and for the next several months and sent out four (4) different appliance companies but done of them could fix the leak. Frigidaire told us to notify Best buy and it would be replace. We dealt with the appliance manager, BRANDON WOOD. He was great. We picked out another refrigerator and just had it delivered. We thank Brandon Wood for all he did to help remedy our problem. Because of Brandon Wood, We WILL return to Best buy. Thank you.

I spent the most money Ive spent in years. The sales staff was professional and very respectful. One person made a mistake by selling me a product that was the wrong size to fit another product I had bought but we are all human. When I brought the wrong size product back the sales staff made it painless to refund and exchange and even provided pleasent conversation throughout the transaction. My fiancé and I came in with only 30 minutes left of the store being open. We had an emergency with her phone and needed a solution quickly. Even though geek squad was supposed to be by appointment only, Nathan listen to our needs, understood how important the situation was, and offered a quick and easy solution with absolutely no pushback! Thank you Nathan for making our night. It may not feel like a big deal, but today you definitely were the hero. This store is always dusty every time I come in. Whenever I pick up an item my hands get dirty, and Ive seen thick layers of dust on shelves or in high up areas. Yuck. Every where I look the employees on the sales floor are on their phone, talking to one another, and avoid assisting patrons. I would just curbside pick up, but idk how well they store their items if they cant present them well on the sales floor.
I used to love best buy. But now its kinda like watching your really old dog die. Like you know its coming and probably soon but your not ready to see it go. That being said i really wish they would carry more products at this location. It seems like they have the space but the shelfs are always empty.
Best Buy is one of my favorite stores and I’m glad that this location can provide excellent customer service. The supervisor is great at her job and knows what she’s doing.

When I took in my Sony Blu Ray player in for return because it stopped playing discs after only 3 weeks, I told them I didnt want it fixed I wanted my money back. They ignored my request and sent it in for repairs. 2 weeks later they said that I would get a gift card. I wanted to go to ABC Warehouse where their return policy is superior to Best Buy. So without a working Blu Ray player, I was forced to buy a new Panasonic player at their store. Summary: Best Buy got their way and kept my money in their Bank account.

I absolutely love that they are a Sony camera store. Having a Sony a6300, sometimes it can be difficult to find lenses that are compatible with my unit. Anytime I have questions or need to find something, I find the most in person help from this Best Buy.

First time at this location. Staff members were polite añd knowledgeable about the product I wanted. My cashier (Danni?) Even got me 12 month financing by suggesting a small purchase of six dollars would qualify my purchase for the longer period of zero interest! Btw, I DID need an AV cable for an old VCR,. So this trip was a win-win for me!

Selection and prices are what you expect, staff is unable to do much in terms of help usually referring me to their corporate line. Im unsure if this is poor support options they are allowed to execute or simply retail-worker-apathy. For now Ill take them at their word and accept that Best Buy treats them as living breathing checkout lanes. Though I can at least say they are not passionate, more methodical/robotic. Canned responses and interaction rather than candid. Not living up to the whole Be Human slogan. Though I dont blame them, not under current conditions.

Doug A a geek squad tech did a fantastic job setting up security and male a fe for my chromebook. I now have peace of mind for my investment accounts. If you do, the onky person who knew much of anything was the guy in PC area. Anyways it is a great store. Sooner or later Amazon I am sure will kill their business. I like Best Buy I mean that’s where I get a lot of my electronics. It seems like their is always someone asking if you need help, but lately I have went in several times and had to go find help in the computer section or outside of the computer/locked up hard drive section because you could probably stand their for 15 minutes and not have anyone ask for help. Then if you have a question about something it seems as if employees don’t even like to work their.
Helpful staff, was in a hurry, the guy helped out. Reasonable prices comparable to Amazon.

I purchase a tv and sound system with installation from Best Buy, there were two installers one was experienced and the other was a helper just learning. The tv and soundbar went up with no issues on the opposite wall from where the speakers were mounted. The experienced installer left early and had the other guy install the speakers.As you can see from the pictures he ran into a stud damaged the wall and could not install the white pull box so he installed it next to it. He also drilled too large of holes for the speaker wires.There are also scratches on the wall from him trying to get behind the furniture. I just had the entire living room painted. No one calls you back to help you. Stuck in VM or on hold for hrs.

We had a good experience with AJ that works in the lap top area also I did not get the name of the gentleman in cameras but he listened and suggested what a camera that would fit my business needs. Because of the 2 gentleman we would drive 30 mins. I dont want to forget the young man that gave us great service with suggesting the right record players for vinyl records. They didnt have much in stock but I just need to pick it up and order online. I love best buy because their associates are more knowledge than other stores. They also have better deals. Their tech guys are great!! Even Verizon couldnt figure something out and they referred us to the Geek Squad. The person that helped me was very helpful and nice as usual. Same price as Home Depot, but they actually had stock. In fact I ended up buying an Open Box deal so I spent way less than I planned. Also I did not have to hunt anyone down and sales person was helpful. 4 stars just because store closer to my house closed a couple months ago.

Absolutely unsatisfied that when you work for a living, need to shop after you get out of work and clean up before you can go shop that stores like Best Buy find it ok to close every single day of the week by 7pm. I guess to have time to shop with them in person you better not have a full time job 7 days a week 🙄🙄🙄 Oh, and of course every location is also not taking calls from customers either.. Yet people wonder why places like Amazon and Walmart are making so much money... Smh.. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere!
My husband & I were looking for a TV & sound bar at Best Buy. We went to the Auburn Hills location. We were pleasantly surprised to get Tyler to help us. He was knowledgeable & friendly. All of the employees that we interacted with were nice. It was a very good experience for us.

My advice? Keep driving and go anyplace other than Best Buy especially for appliances. We spent almost $5000 on new Whirlpool kitchen appliances. Three out of the four were delivered damaged. Golf ball size dent in refrigerator door pictured. Cracked control panel of dishwasher. Dent on stove control panel. Three additional days had to be taken off from work. One delivery arrived 6 hours late. The delivery team told me that they couldnt hook up the water feed for the refrigerator (even though we paid for the kit and the service) that we would have to contact a plumber to do so. They ended up doing it when I showed them our paperwork. The sales people and management tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. But when it comes to an issue, its everyone elses problem and fault. The customer service is nonexistent and all they do is offer gift cards as a resolution. Highly recommend going to Home Depot, Lowes or Menards for appliances. I will never step foot into a Best Buy again and this is coming from an Elite Plus member.

This review is for the staff at the Best Buy Auburn Hills exclusively. Had two large items to return/recycle. Staff came out to the vehicle and helped me bring the items in. Customer service was friendly, professional and accommodating. So much better than dealing with the nightmare of Best Buy phone support or chat. Wish you could just deal directly with the store and bypass the indifferent call center.
