I would give this business a rate if zero stars but unfortunately I had to give it a 1 star. But everyone needs to be aware that Debbie Burns the so called manager likes to roll her eyes at her patients. I called this morning and spoke to her regarding making an appt for an eye exam and to get new glasses. She told me that I wasn’t due for new lens yet because with my insurance it’s only every 2 years. But that if I came today there would be no charge for the eye exam. So after being awake all night for work; going to another appt this morning I have been awake all day as well. So I came to my 4pm appt only for her to tell me that I’m not due for the eye exam but that I could get new lens. Totally flipped her story and not only that she had the audacity to roll her eyes at my like a 2 year old child. It sounds like she needs some re-education on how to treat customers. My solid opinion—avoid this location at all costs. Go somewhere else.

There was only one person working when I first came in; another woman joined later. The woman was very polite and was trying to help four customers at once as well as field the phone. She handled it well, but it took her over a 1/2 hour to handle about 5 minutes with me.

Mellisa, the optician who helped me choose my glasses, was excellent! She took the extra time to make sure I was getting the best deal possible on my two pairs of glasses. Wasn’t sure the exam was as thorough, but since I’m not an optometrist, I’ll go with it.

The doctor was wonderful. I felt comfortable. She helped fix my Rx and now I feel like I can see a whole new world. The downfall is I wish they selection was a bit larger in frames. However I did find a pair that look so good on me. My insurance didnt cover as mush as I hoped, but again I havent been to the eye doctor in at least 7 years. I actually took my daughter there we should be picking her glasses up next week and I am taking my dad there as well.

The doctor & staff are extremely kind, friendly, professional, helpful & knowledgeable. I felt welcomed during my visit, and Dr. Grinnell was very thorough in his exam.I will be back & would suggest this SVS location to family, friends & co-workers.

Went from free to over $500 with additional charges, be careful

Super quick service, and everyone from the doctors to the specialists up front are incredibly friendly and helpful. Didn’t feel pressured at all to buy a pair of glasses while I was there and gave me a number of purchase options.

Love this SVS. They are always friendly, helpful and fast. Took both of my kids there yesterday on and out and happy with the service and choices in glasses!

Just called up to speak someone about my glasses the manger there answered and was completely rude cut me off mid conversation and then hung up in my face . I will not be returning

The worst customer service ever. They double charged me for smth I wasn’t aware at all, then my glasses weren’t prescribed properly. Therefore I had to go over and over and check multiple times my eyes to figure what’s going on and why these office doctors were unable to put me on the right prescription, but no the problem was with the representatives and manager that wanted to sell 3d lenses to patients without letting them know, so I ended up having head ache, vomiting, nausea. When I asked them to refund me after the 5th time of going there, they treated me as an animal by saying we wont refund you 100% cus it’s part of the corporate policy. They did steal my money and I had to wait for the next year to start my new insurance so it would pay for my visit. Worst worst office I’ve ever experienced. Pls people be aware of these scammers. They just try to rip you off. I’ve been patient with vision works in Rochester for years but the only bad thing that they have is that they don’t sell brand frames and that’s why I decided to try this garbage office.

I had a great experience interacting with SVS staff. They were professional but yet friendly and relatable. I would definitely recommend this location to someone who is seeking an exam and Eyewear.

Insurance helps with cost of good glasses. Exam and new glasses during covid19, very clean with shields and spacing used. Disinfecting as you go through exam and ordering. Pricing is high so insurance is needed.

Worst company ever!! Doesn’t even let their employees have time off to take care of their child who had Influenza, an ear infection, and pneumonia. Who does that? A place that has no consideration for family. Fired an amazing person that work her butt off everyday. Made her choose between work and family. Honestly, who does that? Don’t go to any of there locations.

This place has found a repeat customer in me. The staff is amazing. Great customers service skills. The girl Dr I had was very pleasant, professional and courteous! I really liked her. I wasnt pressured into purchasing anything I didnt want. It was straight down to the point. They work directly with the eye insurance I had, VSP, so I didnt have to worry about contacting my insurance for reimbursement.

Super happy with the service i received. The doctor was super friendly and efficient. Then Todd was super helpful in helping me find some nice frames and with choosing a good type of lense to help go good with my lifestyle. Overall amazing service would definitely recommend going here.

I absolutely adore SVS!! This was my first time fitting for contacts and everything went super smooth. They even gave me a case for my old frames. They were patient and polite. Kudos to them!!

I love this place. They are so proactive and friendly. The doctor is knowledgeable, the staff are bubbly and fast. Im not going everywhere else. I appreciate the fantastic customer service they provide!!! Called today to get replacement glasses and they literally did everything.

Absolutely great experience. It was my first time at an SVS Vision and I was thoroughly impressed. Walked in a little early and was taken to my exam right away. Fitted and given samples of different contacts to try. Then I got to pick out frames for my glasses and the women were VERY helpful and encouraging. It was a great experience and I will be going back.

Just left SVS Vision on N Squirrel Rd and Todd fixed my frames in a matter of minutes, I highly recommend this location, customer service and appreciation is 5 star.

Decent place. I replaced my glasses at this facility using old frame. When I left my frame, I was told I dont have to pay anything when I pick my glasses. However I was surprised when I was asked to pay $25 while picking my glasses. I was given several reasons why I have to pay, but they took no responsibility. Next time double check if you owe anything ..

The ladies working here are awesome. Taylor was very friendly and happily helped me choose my frames. I did not have my eye exam done here, but my boyfriend did and he said it was the best eye exam he has ever had. I would highly recommend this place!

The Ophthalmologist, was very kind, and pleasant. However the staff was rude especially young lady who place my order. This was in 2019, Hopefully this year will be and different when I return.

I havent had a pair of glasses in 4 years, Mr. Todd, found the perfect pair of glasses that fit my needs. 5 stars for Mr. Todd, very helpful, and polite.

Ashleigh was amazing and took care of me. She made certain to offer me the best deal and pick out my glasses. It was originally expected that it would take at least a couple of weeks for my glasses to come in. They came in exactly a week after my appointment.

First, the front desk ladies went above and beyond to help me figure out my insurance, which was so amazing because it obviously saved me money. They helped my pick my frames as well. Second, the Dr. herself was very nice and took her time to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed.I was very pleased with my appointment!

I called twice for an appointment to be seen for a new prescription lenses prescription from my ophthalmologist. It says you can make an appointment on line, but when I tried twice, it says “no on line appointments are available”. I left voicemail messages on both 8/13/20 and 8/15/20, and still no return call. My business is going elsewhere.

Every experience in dealing with this bunch has been nothing short of pleasurable. From booking appointments to a nice blonde woman whose name I dont recall helping me but narrow down which frames I wanted.I dealt with Dr. Heather Fairless and she was wonderful. Very genuine, straight froward, and very caring. She referred me to a very good specialist before my second eye exam.I feel like Im doing them a disservice by not remembering their names, but Ill surely be going to this location for any issues that pop up.
