The staff would get a 5 star rating from me. They were very nice, friendly and helpful people. Great job hiring the best staff.The store itself would get a 1 star or possibly even 0. Why? Because it isnt even a store anymore! It is a kiosk 😡 They have maybe 15-20 animals total and a very limited selection of clothing & accessories. We got two bears stuffed that we had purchased online but didnt get any accessories. It was very disappointing. If I had known it was just a kiosk I would have just drove the extra 15 minutes to the Troy mall where they still have a store front. Because I already have to drive an hour as it is to get to Great Lakes Crossing.Please stop switching to kiosks instead of stores. The change sucks and we will stop shopping there. The whole point of spending the extra money on build a bear stuffed animals is the experience it gives our children. When you take the experience away it is no longer worth it and I should just buy cheaper stuffed animals online.

I absolutely love taking my kids here. Is it a smaller location? Yes. Do you get a different experience? Not at all. The staff here makes sure you get the same kind of an experience you would get from a bigger store. It isnt the location that provides the experience, its the people.

Today my daughter went and picked out two build a bears for her birthday. We were lucky to have Jake assist us. He was so interactive, friendly, and fun to watch as he brought alive two bears for my daughter. People like him restore my faith in humanity. Thank you Jake for making this a great and fun experience for Allayah!

Despite short staffing, the employees maintained a clean work station and wonderful atmosphere. Charlotte took the time to make sure our experience was incredibly personalized and enjoyable! Ive never felt so comfortable or welcome at any other Build-A-Bear :)

Came here for my daughters 2nd birthday today. Called a month in advance so they would be prepared. After all us families drove an hour, with toddlers, they decided not to come into work today. A Monday, at 1230pm. I AM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. Ruined my daughters birthday, wasted everyones time, and really let down a bunch of 2 year olds. Horrible. I would NEVER recommend BuildABear at Great Lakes Crossing. 0 out of 5 stars.

The two girls Layna and Haley were both very friendly and my made daughters experience so much fun. Not just that, but the credit card machine stopped working. My total came to 80.00 and I only had 50 in cash. They took that and gave me the rest for free so my daughter didn’t have to go home empty handed. They kept apologizing over and over again for taking up our time as well. You can tell that they love their jobs and were extremely helpful. We will be coming back!

They closed 32 minutes earlier with the excuse, We have to restock because theres only two of us. Its a 2-hour drive for me to get here. That wouldve been my first time getting a build-a-bear. There was no line or anything. Just me and my sister. Broke my heart.

I spent $100 and before I paid I told them them the sound is very low and no help, don’t expect any help if there’s a problem, it’s a rip off

This is not a store but a stand. They are fast and efficient. The staff clear loves their jobs! They are great with kids no the big and small. Also had everything is stock!

Oh my gosh! This Build a bear place was do awesome! First time building a bear but was my second bear (because I lost my other one when I was young :( ) the lady was so nice! She had a bubbly personality and was sooo amazing) I definitely suggest this I got a bear for $14 and a scent for $3.50 and a t shirt and shoes for $31 definitely an awesome place to go to so much magic!

Layna gave the best customer experience you could ask for. We drove three hours to use a gift card and on a busy Friday night, Layna made the trip worth it. Our six year old daughter loved her energy and made the experience very special. I would highly recommend this location and Layna! Thank you so much! If I could give Layna a 10/5 rating I would!

Went here with my freinds. We get there and its only a kiosk. Very limited selection. The somerset mall is only 20 minutes away, just go there

We had such an awesome time getting our bears, the staff was great but could you make an actual store? The kiosk is crowded, the family behind us were rude and in a rush that it put a disappointing feeling to something that should be fun and rewarding. The kiosk is in such a bad location.

My children love this Build a Bear!! Payton Smith is and employee there and she rocks!!!! My daughter loves seeing that shes working when we go! She gets down to the childrens level and makes it such an amazing experience!!!!

Took my granddaughter here for her bday, they didnt do anything the website said. Didnt ring the bell, she didnt get a sticker, we were pushed threw. We were also the only customers there. It stunk for her bday.
