Very disappointed with this location. Made an order Friday morning that was supposed to be ready in the evening. Unfortunately, I was notified it would not be ready as they are understaffed and had new, inexperienced workers. Being understanding, I let it slide. Saturday comes around, and I go to pick up my order. The item is defective and not functional. They start making another one while I wait. What a waste of my time. The gift was intended for a birthday that was Friday. All ruined. No apology from the workers for the inconvenience while I wait for the new order. They’re lucky I’m not throwing a fit in the store like others would.

I purchased several things for my wedding here in 2017. I had everything engraved. I have the 5th Avenue toasting and cutlery set. I have cases, wine glasses a glass box and clock. The clock was a gift, not something I would normally like. I visited the store again with my uncle and his fiancee. Its his first marriage and I wanted to purchase something for them. They choose the 5th Avenue toasting set and cutlery. I didnt let them know I had the same thing. No one remembers what you had at your wedding, they remember if the food was good and if they had s good time. Although Things Remembered items make good optics for or your special day. I also like the baby items and clearance section. I could always find something nice as a gift.

I went to Great Lakes Crossing specifically for this store and according to google, it opens at 11. I get there and the lady/owner was on the phone and rudely says its not open yet. I asked what time and she said not until noon. So I went back at 12 and she sees me sitting outside the store waiting and still didnt open the store. I left at 12:10 and took my money to another store. Rude person whoever she is.

There’s an old lady who works there who has terrible customer service. I got a jewelry box and she made the writing on it very small knowingly. Instead of redoing it she waits until I come in and tells me it’s small and if I want to redo it I would have to come back for it another day and I already ordered the day before. Told her if she can redo it and instead of the entire name just put the first letter in a bigger size since I won’t be able to come another day. She told me it was a Saturday and it was a busy day. When I told her she’s using only one machine out of the two she then proceeded to say she didn’t like my tone. If I can give this place 0 stars I would.

Biba has, hands down, the best customer service I have ever encountered. I come all the way from Dearborn just to deal with her

The lady that answered the phone was so rude when I asked her about a necklace I accidentally broke that my sister got for me to see if they could fix it. She couldnt even suggest a place to where I could get it fixed.

Excellent service, the price of what I wanted was reasonable, which I didnt expect. And the engraving was reasonably priced as well. And I waited for the engraving, they told me two hours, it only took one. Which I prefer. Thanks.

I dont want to speak generally, for all Things Remembered locations, but for this one in particular. The salespeople here have always gone out of their way to satisfy us, and are extremely helpful with trends, styles, colors. Sometimes you think colors or fonts will work, or sometimes youre totally lost on where to start, and the salespeople here will always know where to start with you. I have three locations within a 10 minute drive from where I live, and I travel the 30-40 minutes to come to this location because I know I will be FULLY helped, and happily so. As someone who has worked retail, I know how difficult it can be to keep a happy face for every customer...yet no matter what time of the year we stop in to get gifts, we always walk out excited with our picks. Love my rewards and coupons, and love the service here! Cant speak highly enough about this location! Even my 1 year old likes coming in with us 😄

Always a good place to buy quality personalised gifts. They are often running sales so you can get good deals. Very friendly staff, not pushy at all.

Great place to find something with a personal touch

Had a great experience with a sales person, he was a very nice knowledgeable associate. I myself am I salesmen so its always nice to see someone who knows what theyre doing. So the service was great. Towards the end of the interaction they informed us that the product we wanted wouldnt be able to be done tonight, They would have to ship it or wed have to pick it up at a later date. The weird part was the lady behind us was told something different. I didnt really read too much into it, so we agreed to have it shipped because we lived about an hour away. They said you should get it no later than the weekend. This was December 8th. Its now the 23rd and according to Things Remembered they do not have our package in the building and according to UPS they havent received the package either. The lady that runs this establishment is very quick to get me off the phone claiming it has nothing to do with them that it is UPSs responsibility now and the package left on time based on what they informed us. The funny thing is the order was placed the 8th and the shipping label wasnt even printed until the 18th of December. I will not do business here again and now will be trying to get a full refund from them. Not that its relevant but we just lost my little sister a year ago and I wanted to get my Father something engraved to remember her by. It was really hard to even put on paper the words that I wanted this piece to say. Thank you Things Remembered, I have nothing to hand my Father on Christmas now. Maybe I can let him know that he should receive it by New Years.
