Excellent Indian Grocery market selling the best varieties of spices and everything to cook a delicious dinner... Very nice owners... delicious samosas

Everything here is good! But those samosas are horrible and stale. I tried few of those few days ago and could not sleep for entire night because of stomach ache. Took me a day to get it out of system and have some relief. I am pretty sure those were stale.

Friendly Indian grocery. Their sign said they had Snacks and I went in looking for samosas and got a bunch to go. Also found some great tomatillo chutney by Bleaf. Definitely worth a visit!!

I wouldn’t recommend going to this place unless and until it’s absolutely necessary.The place is too small and untidy.Price of everything us kept at their wish since this is the only Indian store around averting hills.The person in the store is very slow in billing and will attend calls in between billing and make the customers wait.They have a lot of old stock items- check the expiry date before purchasing.

I love the spices at. Spices of India. The colors, and, aromatic spices. I cant wait to shop there again.

The place is small and gets especially congested if there are more than a certain number of customers. The place is a bit pricey but only Indian store pretty close to my house so wont complain. They have fresh snacks like samosa and puff and also fresh rotis and theplas. Beware of the dates since some of the products they have on shelf may be expired. They have the curb side pickup in case you dont want to enter the store.

I usually drop here to get some indian spice and snack groceries. It is in a good location and has a variety of indian groceries. I am not a big fan of the greetings you receive as you enter the store. Ah maybe it is wnat it is. But that does not stop me from going to the store.

Good compact place to get indian groceries and necessities. They keep pooja essentials which is an important attraction. Covid 19 measures are very good which eases your mind during shopping. Pro tip: their samosas and veg puffs are generally fresh and great appetizers or evening snacks.

People are so nice when I go in there.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. During this pandemic, my husband has been picking up our orders from them via curbside. Well, today, they called him to confirm his order was ready and they got his card information. He told them that due to a sudden change in schedule, he would have to leave 30 minutes later than he originally intended. The man on the phone began YELLING at him to the point where my husband had to hold the phone away from his ear and appeared absolutely shocked. I could even hear the man yelling from where I was sitting which was across the room from my husband. He was saying that if my husband is ever going to make changes again, he should respond to some email but my husband wasn’t informed about this procedure. Either way, no business owner should be talking to a customer like that. My husband is a hard-working man and he missed one small procedure which they didn’t even inform him about. Way out of line. They lost our business, and we will not be coming back.

Same review as below. I missed his call and called back to see if I can pick up stuff early tomorrow as it is close to the closing time. He started yelling to the point that I had to reply back that’s not the right way and canceled my order. I appreciate the service but at the same time they are charging for that and there is a way they should talk to customers. I have never experienced this in US.

Fresh hot samosas

I had a exceptionally pleasant experience here. The gentleman answered all of my questions and was professional and polite. They even had delicious ready to eat snacks.

I wouldn’t recommend going to this place unless and until it’s absolutely necessary.I just got few items from them, Prices are Higher than other stores & they are also charges 10 % more to bring order outside there is store. I am also running business & i am not charging single price extra to my customer. This is the time to help not to rip them off. No restaurant or store is charging extra to bring food outside the store. I am in Pet Store business we are doing free Delivery to customer at this point but we are not charging anything extra. Everybody need to help each other right now.

GoodThe place has almost all the different items which people look for in a weekend grocery shopping, clean well maintained place and very helpful staff.BadVery expensive compared to all other establishments similar to them. Hope they dont resell items sold in India with a dollar price tag.We expected items which were imported to be sold here which seems to be the norm we have see at other Indian stores similar to them, dont know why the items have an Indian price in rupees and a dollar price tag!!Hope you guys can change this practice and reduce the price to give a better experience and help people revisit your establishment!

I love this place! The have the ingredients no one else has. There is also a slightly more worldly feeling to this grocery store than most others in the area. Also this is the only place Ive been able to find curry leaves! The staff is always friendly and helpful with what I need.

Fairly well stocked with a decent range of products & grocery. Have helpful staff.However, they stubbornly for the past 2 years been refusing to change their Card Reader which is quite an antique one and is badly malfunctioning. This results in longer waiting line for the checking out customers,and the cramped space the Card Reader is squeezed in makes it (even for the Sales Associate )very difficult to swipe the card.Repeated & harsh tries at the Cards by these Associates wears down the card quickly. I had to change my Chase Card within an year because of them.I know installing a newer & working Card Reader will cost a few hundred bucks,which the Stores is averse to spend on. Is it being penny wise & Pound Foolish?If at all they change the Card Reader, pl make it possible for the Customer to swipe it please.I have several times brought this to the notice of the Stores,even the Associates look shame faced when they are unable to successfully swipe Cards ! The management needs to be more practical on how it spends its bucks.

Clerk is very slow. Rather than taking customer at hand, he start taking care of customer on the phone. You have to wait till he finish all customer on the phone. Very rude of him.

They have everything you need from India. Staff is helping. They get fresh vegetable stock every thrusday and Monday. I love the fresh samosa and paratha they sell.

Small shop. Would visit to get any urgent groceries. They do not have much variety as patel. But can manage if you want anything urgent. Fresh vegetables arrive on Monday and Thursday.

Food very good + service good, waiter happy to help with menu. Just the place wasnt inviting, needed some attention to the decor. Husband nearly walked out when waiting to be seated. Though glad he didnt when food came + music was played.

Super place. All the spices and legumes etc you could ask for at competitive prices. And check out the samosas after 3pm. They are the best.

This store only has Expired products. Make sure you buy a good product. Upon expired product they are using permanent marker to cover the Manufacture date and a simple sticker is sticked with a big years of validity printed.

I was shopping for an Indonesian friend and had no clue what I was looking for....they were friendly and helpful. I got everything on the list needed. Perfect A+

Prices are a little higher and misleading. Top ramen noodles were listed as $0.99 but my bill showed up $1.99. They have some unique stuff and discounts too. I wish I werent overcharged!

Love the owner, nice people. Very close to I 75. I stop here on my way from work. Has most of the Indian spices, if they dont have it let them know and they will get it for you.

It is the only Indian store in Auburn hills..it offers a decent selection of frozen and fresh vegetables. The staff is helpful.

The place has most of the expired food. To hide it, they have placed stickers. Staff behavior is not good. All things are highly expensive. Vegetables are not that fresh. They even keep expired products also. They never discard them. Check the expired date before buying anything from this store. This week, one of my friend bought vada which he needed to fry. He got burnt due to that product. Product was not expired but it got bad taste like it was expired.

The store has a lot of expired items on the shelves. The owner is friendly but I would still not recommend this place because of the high prices. The store is probably taking advantage of the fact that there is no other Indian store in the vicinity.
