Went there to get 21aa crushed concrete, they had a huge pile and wouldnt sell any to me ( said they were out of it ) no explanation. Cost me two hours plus fuel

Really attentive, fast and polite from all.... Called in post COVID Shut down. Explaining how close I was the made arrangements to bring over 5 yards of mulch that DAY! The person on the phone was very responsive and helpful. Based on our conversation she directed me to one of their more inexpensive products. There is no question, I am sure it was 5 Plus! Driver was really nice too, dropped it in the perfect position for my 2 car driveway, not in the grass, and room to get out (with a little work). The double shred was excellent, I have used black died in the past, and do not miss the stain leaving marks on everything. Again the Mulch was clean easy to work with and looked great!

Have had mulch delivered several times. Easy to order from plus employees are friendly and helpful. I had a scheduling issue with my mulch delivery and they scrambled to ensure I had it the day I needed it. Good job!

I must say the ladies upfront Held my hand through this whole purchasing and delivery of crush concrete to my home. We had 5 yards of Topsoil delivered July 2015. We used it to fill in behind a retainer wall and other places in our yard to plant grass.The dirt looked good when delivered but after the first rain you can see a lot of pee gravel in it and was very hard on the surface like it had a lot of clay in it. I’m apprehensive about seeding it.I would like to think; when I told them I was using it to plant grass they would have suggested I use a better grade of soil, like maybe Premium Compost. But no, they just sold me this junk.

I started using State Crushings products (garden soil & mulch) about 7 years ago.I am massively into Gardening and am highly particular about what dirt and mulch I use in building my gardens. After being unsatisfied with another local landscape material provider, I found State Crushing and LOVE the products, my gardens are absolutely beautiful! When I call to place an order, they know who I am and can oh most predict what I am going to order. The drivers are kind and professional.

Bought 5 yards of screened topsoil last May. When I ordered it I told them it was for filling in yard and then seeding it.After spreading out and leveling5 yards, I put grass seed starter fertilizer and used Scotts grass seed. NOTHING GREW BUT WEEDS, AND NOT A LOT OF THEM. I watered everyday. After 8 weeks I redid the seeding, only I used Pennington seed. NOTHING GREW. Its been almost a year and I still have a dirt yard. The soil must be contaminated with something. It was full of broken glass, that I am still finding in the yard as of this week. A guy at my work also bought 5 yards and he cant grow anything either. I spent over a hundred dollars in seed and fertilizer last year on top of buying the dirt, and another 50 this year too try again.DO NOT BUY TOPSOIL FROM HERE IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO GROW.They offer no help, and offered no apologies.

I am very disappointed with the quality of crushed limestone that we had delivered. I ordered 7 yards and paid 20.00 extra for the truck, I asked the driver to spread the limestone down the drive., Instead he left it in 3 large mounds a few feet apart. We are in our 70s we had to pay someone to spread it out for us. On top of that the limestone is mainly limestone powder, and hardly any actual rocks. I feel like we were ripped off and will NEVER use this business again.

I bought top soil and as you can see the soil is not black it is tan and I planted pennington premium midwest mix seeds and kept it watered and this is what I got a sea of weeds. I thought maybe it was the seeds that had weeds but i realized that the parts were I put the soil down but had no seed planted also came up with these seeds.I used roundup to kill all the seeds in the area before I had the top soil delivered so I thought it was safe to add top soil and plant the seeds. I wasted so much money and time and water. I will have to buy more round up and start over. State crushing just lost a customer. I have purchased topsoil from them in the past and it was dark soil and I did not have this weed problem.Beware if you want to plant a lawn go elsewhere.

Bought 5 yards of topsoil to seed low area in yard. Soil was mud when delivered because it had rained all morning. We were not advised to reschedule even though woman called twice to let us know what time to expect truck. Driver said we could reschedule but would have to pay another delivery charge. Had to wait a week for soil to dry out before we could use it. Worst of all, soil looked very low quality - tan color and hard as a rock. Go elsewhere for topsoil!
