Called the day before the season opener because I needed a mens white shirt in a size many places dont stock. The gentleman on the phone spent time with me to find the options available in the size I was looking for. I paid with a credit card over the phone. This store is such a treasure that I consider it part of the Auburn University Campus. Right off of College St. You cant miss it. J and M is a landmark. In the age of E-books, Amazon, big box stores, and online coursework; locally owned bookstores along with local retail stores have taken a hit. J and M is one of the last of its kind. When you go to Auburn make SURE that you walk into J and M and buy something. If I dont stop into J and M at least once while at Auburn I feel like my trip was incomplete!God bless andWar Eagle!

Vs. Anders and the AU Bookstore: most expensive for books, middle for Auburn merch, and top for art supplies. Historic, original location is convenient. Favorite for football season calendars.

Right on College Street in the heart of downtown Auburn at Toomers Corner. J&M is a local treasure in Auburn to visit for a small piece of Americana and good people. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the store has some of the best apparel to buy in town. A visit to Auburn isnt complete without a visit to J&M to get some new swag and a stop to Toomers Drug Store for sandwich on some bunny bread and fresh squeezed lemonade.

The store is so clean and has so many cute AU shirts and gifts. I love the local artist section in the back, where you can find pottery, food, clothes, jewelry and more.

An iconic Auburn business having existed as long as I can remember. The Auburn gear inventory is extensive with vintage as well as recent fashion styles and designs.

One of the top four or five places on The Plains that are a must every single trip! The wonderful family atmosphere and friendly staff are second to none! Great selection of Auburn gear for men, women & children as well as a great art supply department (my daughter always finds something). Its hard to beat J&M on service, quality, selection and atmosphere. War Eagle!

This place is a Must and Have to Go if you are visiting Auburn. Anything you can imagine about Auburn is here and very affordable! I bought T-shirt’s, keychains, frames, and the list of things is long. Beautiful, clean, perfectly located, and amazing service. This place is a treasure in Auburn and I’m sure that every alumni or people living in the town visited them and have great memories here. Highly recommended!

This place is great! It has remained pretty much unchanged since I went to school they are in the 90s. What a Hallmark of Auburn. Definitely recommend going by and visiting to purchase some of your Auburn gear or presents.

My favorite bookstore in Auburn, I have been shopping here for 35 years. They have the best selection of tshirts, sweatshirts and merchandise around, and their prices tend to be better than the other two major book stores. The biggest problem is there is not a lot of parking there. You have to drive down Magnolia and enter a behind-the-store parking lot on your right. Then you walk through an alley between Wares and J&M to go back to College Street.

Loved being back in Auburn. Friendly staff. A lot of great items. Wish SEC shirts and sweats didnt double the price.

Rude.My wife and I were visiting our Auburn Student on a Sunday. Went to lunch and thought we’d stop by. Apparently they close at two. As we walked up, the door was literally slammed in our face by what I assume is the gentleman manager. Not so much as a “sorry”, “better luck next time”, or even a smile.I know it won’t matter any to the J&M, but there are other stores in town. I recommend Giving the others a try.

This store has what you need for the most part, in terms of books and Auburn-related apparel. A nice quiet place to shop if you’re looking to grab what you need. Staff are pretty helpful too.

Wont be returning to this store ever again. When I was given misleading information about books on my first visit, I returned to inform them of their mistake. When I did an old man that seemed to be a manager or something refused to listen and said he didnt believe it.Never have I blatantly been accused of lying within a business before, and without any just cause. What a terrible business. What a terrible manager. Didnt get a name, but he was a quite despicable old-fashioned southern white man.

Great family owned Auburn icon. Very involved in community and their LocAL Market highlights and sells local food/roasted coffee products and artists works.

Selection was best on campus, pricing high for cheap garments but that’s why there still in biz, gotta make profit

I gave J&M 4 stars because its J&M, but they really deserved less last week when we stopped in. Literally nobody in town on the 4th week and we seemed invisible in the store.
