Just got home from there today after calling them and recognizing one of the workers voices! GO HERE! They will continue to get my business for providing exceptional work and customer service.

Completely ruined my vehicle, wish they would have told me they were not capable of repairing the original, minor issue instead of experimenting on it! $7,500 in repairs after my car had to be towed to Toyota. I will not be returning to this place due to lack of communication, and extremely poor overall quality of care. I can see why they closed their doors! Dishonest and just looking to make a buck off of the college kids arriving in Auburn.

AWESOME !!!Best Tire is my new Auto Repair Shop to go to! My car was veering to the right for months and I thought I needed an alignment. So I took it to two other locations over the next several months whom Charged me but did NOT remedy the veering off issue. I then took it to Best Tire & Auto in whom performed my request for an alignment, however this time the awesome mechanic noticed my right tire actually had a bubble on it which was the cause for it veering to the right. Finally a Shop whom knows and cares with great customer service.

Needed the oil changed and tires balanced and rotated before a weekend trip. I drove over at lunch on Thursday without calling first. They were able to get the service done in under an hour. They have a sitting area outside where I enjoyed my lunch and could view the car being serviced.

Always get my car ready. The manager is great. Can call anytime. They always welcome me.

I got a flat the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I went to three different auto shops and called three more. Best Tire was closing in thirty minutes when I called, but still offered to take a look. They took out two pieces of steel and had my tire patched in no time. They were kind and very helpful, and I only paid a fraction of what a new tire would have cost (what another auto shop said I needed). Thank you!!

They got my tire patched up in no time! They have a nice waiting area inside as well as gazebo outside, so you can social distance if you need to.

Best tire? More like worst customer service. These guys will NOT be getting our business anymore, regardless of how much cheaper they are in comparison. I do not normally leave reviews, especially not negative ones, but I am appalled at how they spoke to my husband over their mistake.

I have been here twice now for car maintenance and WOW, best place I have ever been. They changed my battery quickly a couple months ago, and this week when my lights went out I went back. I went in to get new tires because the dealership I take my cot to for regular maintenance told me that mine were bald. When I went in the employees were so nice and respectful. I left my car there to pick up later and writhing 15 minutes they called me back to tell me the dealership had lied and I definitely did not need new tires. They could have easily changed my tires, kept my old ones, and resold them used because they still had so many miles left. I was so appreciative of their honesty and will definitely use them again in the future.

I have been taking my cars here for the last 4 years. The people here know me by name, and they use to smile when I walk in the door. I don’t know what happened, maybe the management changed or Maybe they just hired the worst technicians that they could scrape from the bottom of the barrel in Alabama. Either way, when I bring my car in, they are just trying to maximize their labor costs to run up the bill on you. Technicians will say about anything to bring your car back in to get you to spend more money. Just do yourself a favor and go to tiger tire. Two stars because Matt and Dave are at least helpful and undertaking.

As a new customer, I got my tire rotation and balance here today. I asked for the cross rotation for my rear tires as the manual recommended. However, I found that they did not do that. My previous right rear tire has a paint marking on it since it was patched, so it should be at the front left after rotation. But this tire was installed as the front right tire after the rotation. I politely told them twice that they may not do the cross rotation for my rear tires but they said they did it. I know it wont effect much without the cross rotation if the tires were balanced. However, Im disappointed that they do not care about mistakes they made.Honestly they charged only 30 buck to do the rotation and balancing which is the lowest price in town. But I dont think Ill come back again.

I go here to get my oil changed and tires rotated and these guys are amazing. The employees are very polite and helpful and they dont try to push any additional services on you. Theyre really quick with service too. Ive never been somewhere so convenient and you dont even have to make an appointment. I highly recommend this place!

I could go on for multiple paragraphs but I’ll keep it short. They just wanted my money and for me to leave. Took it there and left with issues still, as they tell me everything is fixed. Took it to another store the next day and they immediately could identify issues that ended up helping me. This store just completely missed crucial problems with my car.

The only place in town that I will use. I have ordered 3 sets of tires with these guys within the last two years, they get me the specialty tire I want same day! I get my vehicles maintenance done here as well, very quick and done right. Its the same trusting faces behind the counter every time I go in, which tells me they have a great team. I drive new vehicles and rarely have serious mechanical issues but I do keep their card in my wallet as they seem to have a an efficient tow truck service I see in use around town regularly.

I was on the interstate traveling with my camper and the guys at Best auto assisted me into getting to their place and once I was there they helped my right away. Absolutely love this auto shop and everyone who works there! They have done an excellent job fixing my CRV (multiple times) and even offered to give me rides when I had somewhere I needed to go. They are always very honest and fairly priced. Wont be taking my car anywhere else while I live here in town!

My tire blew, so I came in to get it replaced. said they had a tire in stock and it would be $89 after tax, then told me to sit down and it should take about 20 minutes to install. About 20 minutes later they came to tell me that they didnt have the tire they had told me about, and so the next tire was $125, which is an insane price for my small car. Safe to say they ripped me off. Stick to Walmart, much cheaper and you can be sure they have many tires in stock.

Ive been going to Best for years now. I can honestly say Ive never had a problem with them. Theyve always been pretty quick with their services. I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle to them, especially for a routine oil change/tire rotation.

Had I been asked for the past 2 years that Ive been taking my car to them what Id rate on a scale 1-5, Id give a 5. But now, Id give a 0 if I could. Ive been taking my car there for oil changes, headlight replacements, and now air conditioning problems. I dont work on my own car, and dont let anyone else do anything to it. They told me my car needed a new air compressor, and they quoted me $640. I left my car with them for one week and came back and they told me it was $622. I didnt say anything, I was saving $18, no big deal. But the lack of consistency struck me as odd. I got in my car after leaving the shop, and the engine revs up on its own, going to 3000 RPM while still in park. The air doesnt work at all. I drove it home thinking maybe it just needed to be drove around for it all to kick in. After two days of trouble with my car, I took it back. After 1 hour of looking around, a mechanic tells me that someone poured oil into the radiator. It was this mechanic that did the original work on my car that told me this. I was quoted $199 to flush it (when theyre the reason it needed flushed), but declined because I wanted to get second opinions from others. They also told me that my head gasket looked as if it was going to blow out soon, which was never in question or a problem before I took my vehicle to them. They seem experienced and incredibly nice at first, but they do not take ownership in anything they do wrong. I let someone else flush the oil out for $25, and the head gasket is working properly (which Ken, in the office, told me it wouldnt do unless I had them fix it for $1000+). My air wasnt working after they fixed the compressor, so they added coolant for no charge. I later found out that it was because they never added the coolant that theyd charged me for in the first place. Do not go here, seriously. Save yourself.

The manager of Best Tire & Auto has the customers best interest at heart. I brought my car in here the weekend of June 8th because my usual mechanic is closed on the weekends. I came in because the front end of my car was vibrating, especially at high speeds. The left and right CV axles were replaced, the front shock and strut assembly, the left front tire, all wheels were aligned, and the front brake pads were replaced and the front rotors were resurfaced. $1,677 total. On the 5th of July, not even a month later, I noticed my car begin to vibrate (the steering wheel and car body) at speeds above 50 mph. I took my car in to my normal mechanic only to discover that Best Tire & Auto Services did not correctly install everything, and also replaced a lot more than necessary to address the issue. Grease is leaking out of both front CV axles, and the front rotors are warped. When I called Best Tire & Auto to address the issue and the individual I spoke to informed me that squirrels may have chewed through the lines, and that the front rotors are warped because I may brake at the last second. I was also informed that they could not bring my car in from the other mechanic to fix the issue. I had my regular mechanic fix the issue because I trust his work. The next day the manager called after hearing about the issue from the previous day and did everything in his power to solve the issue. He genuinely wanted to make sure that the work was fixed, the problem was solved, and the customers needs were met.

Very fast and friendly service. They dont try to up sell you on work you dont need. It is also AAA approved. I would recommend everyone going there.

Great service from the guys at the counter. bought some tires there before and got em for less than what I found them elsewhere and on the internet & they had them in stock! this place stays packed with cars being repaired on a daily basis and the mechanics seem to be in a good mood in the back. mechanics being in a good mood means good support from the shop manager and quality work going out the door. I havent ever heard anyone complain & to see the bad reviews on here makes me wonder if those people were just having a bad day.

Great experience. I was in town for the Auburn graduation and had a flat on the way there. We only had a few hours window to get the tire replaced and the front end aligned. I explained our situation and the staff were extremely helpful, got us repaired and on the way.

I had a nail in my tire that was close to the wall but not in the wall and Walmart told me it was too close and I needed a new tire. Luckily a friend told me about best tire and auto and they got me fixed right up!

I brought in a truck, they said they couldnt work on the transmission and to take it to a dealership. They charged the diagnostic fee anyway, despite the fact that nothing was diagnosed and no useful information was provided at all. I guess they wanted $49 more than all future business from me.

I used these guys for many years with no problems. I felt as if I was treated fairly, even as a female customer. My experience over the past 1.5 years (roughly) has been quite different, and has resulted in me finding another shop to get my business. The level of service has gone downhill considerably and the amount of pushing for unneeded products has gone up. Find another place.

I was looking for an auto service center I could trust where my daughter was attending college at Auburn University. She is a freshman beginning August 2012. We found Best Tire and Auto in Auburn, AL. I wanted a local service center that she could take her car to and trust the work would be good, fairly priced, and honest in the repair.The team at this service center is exactly what a dad four hours away would be searching for to keep his daughters car safe and operational. We had an important repair that needed to be done, a timing belt replacement, the job was completed a rapidly as possible and in the process some issues came up that delayed the completion of the job. Initially I was concerned with the delay but Craig and the other members of the team kept me apprised daily on the status and did not surprise me with any unexpected delays, costs, or additional problems.My daughter will be at Auburn University for four years and we will be taking her vehicle to Best Tire and Auto when ever we need service again. Irresponsible auto shop. My Mercedes fixes the brakes on there. They caused my car’s driving system issue and need to contact the Mercedes dealer by myself. I call back to hope that theyre responsible for my computer system problem They refused to take responsibility for my car. However, the issue of the driving system was caused by them. I spent 159 dollars on repairs, but I got a problem with the system. Thats ridiculous.

I entered this establishment earlier this morning and after waiting 10 minutes and none felt the need to see what I might need I left. The service sucks ! From what I have experienced.

These guys are 100% scam artists. Women need to avoid this place at all costs! Sent me wife in there to get some prequoted work done, and not only did the quote change but they recommended she get over $1,000 of additional work done. Thank goodness she called me before approving any of this being done. We ended up taking our car to Franklin, and were told that the work that was recommended at Best 100% did NOT need to be done. They were adamant that what Best told me needed to be replaced was in 100% good working order. Stay away from this place!

These people are terrible! I went in to have new brake pads installed, a pretty routine thing that I know how to do but my permanent residence is in Georgia along with all of my tools. They told me that they need to to fully replace a rotor along with all new pads. They quoted me $560 for this!!! A new set of pads costs $70 for front and rear and a new rotor is a $50 part. They try to scam people they think dont know anything about basic car care. Along with this when i removed the wheel my rotor was completely fine, I wouldnt even bother machining it! Go somewhere else at all costs.

Do not take your car to this place. They performed an oil change on my Mercedes C300 matic. When l left the shop car started smoking and stalling. Had car towed to Mercedes dealer and found out they overfilled oil by multiple quartz. Dealer performed the correct oil change and burned oil from engine. Later my differential locked. Differential oil was empty. They have removed the differential oil from the car instead of the engine oil. Drain plugs are close to each other. It cost over $2000.00 to fix. They will not take responsibility

These guys are honest, friendly, competent, and have competitive prices. Take your car to Walmart get it screwed up then go to these guys. Should have went here first.

When I went in I didnt see anyone I knew after going for 2 years. Both guys I always dealt with are gone. I have done 3 different things to my truck for a noise. My oil pressure gauge dropped so I brought it by and they said its probably the oil sensor and oil pump going bad. And that the whinning noise is probably my oil pump. When an oil pump doesnt even make the sound my truck is making.. It is like they are guessing on what is going on. I will not be going back here. There is a new manager and he cares for his customers . He contacted us and has tried to fix every issue we have had with them.

The folks at Best always take such good care of us - fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are always pleased with their work and their service.

So i walk in and i am the only person there, but there is no acknowledgement of my presence. This struck me as odd and rude. So I stood there for a couple of minutes just being ignored before I spoke to one of the guys. They were nice and I got my oil changed. I got my car back and there are big oily hand prints just left on the hood and side. Also i start driving and smoke starts coming out of my hood. So i pop it to see that they had spilled oil all over the place and it was now getting burned up. The obvious lack of attention to detail, unprofessionalism and sloppiness totally makes me question the sort of job they did. I mean hell I can change my oil in my backyard in 20 minutes with out making a mess or defacing my car with oily handprints. Professionals these guys are not, sloppy and apathetic they are. Im not ever coming back.

Bad decision taking my car here for an oil change and tire rotation an hour and a half before I needed to go to work. I was there for 45 mins and asked them how long my car would be. The guy who checked the car in was busy with someone else. So, I think the manager, told me that itd be 30 mins for an oil change and rotation. I said I didnt have that much time and that Id been there 45 mins already and he told me that, oh he thought Id just gotten there and my car was next. So it should not be long at all. An hour later I went to ask about it again and they said they hadnt been able to rotate the tires bc the back ones were worn and they needed to know if I still wanted them rotated. I do not appreciate them 1) telling me that itd be done in less than 30 mins and then it taking over an hour and 2) waiting for me to come to the counter to ask if I wanted the tires rotated. I will not be going back. The customer service was horrible and I was 45 mins late to work. If I had had two hours to spend at the car shop, I would have changed the oil myself.

I had trusted this garage for some time with regular repair and maintenance. However, during a recent repair job on my front axles they failed to completely inspect my vehicle. While I know I am responsible for maintenance such as checking oil and fluids, I do expect that when my car is in the garage that the entire car be examined, rather than them fixing only the problem I brought the car in for. The cause of my car trouble 3 days following a $500 repair, was low oil. It was a simple fix, which could have been avoided had they inspected my car fully for all defects, instead of the problem which I brought it in for. I think this shows a lack of pride in their work. Another issue I encountered was lack of communication by the garage. I dropped of the car Friday at noon, and did not hear from them until Sat mid morning when we called, only to learn that there was low oil, and were told that the garage would call us later on Sat. I called them Sat. at 4:30, and was only then informed that I could not get the car until Monday. I will not be returning to this place due to lack of communication, and poor overall quality of care.

Not the best place in town by far. My car ran hot and had low coolant so I had them check the coolant system for leaks. They didnt find anything and overcharged me for the test. My car continued to run hot from lowering coolant levels and one week later my radiator cracked open. Also had them change the oil. They were limited to only a few basic oils and charged more than all the oil change places. I got the sense that they were trying to nickle and dime me for everything. Based on friends experiences over the years for stuff theyve had to replace, I honestly think that they will try to upsell you on parts of your car you dont understand for more parts and labor costs to them. They cant make money on the $100 fix. loyal to the dollar, not you.

Brought in a tire to be patched on a busy Friday morning when I was about to leave on a road trip and I was out of there in 30 minutes. I bought tires there for my previous vehicle and have gotten oil changes and general maintenance work done and unless you come in late on a Saturday you can usually get out of there quick.
