My car has had nothing but issues ever since the install. Literally two days ago my vehicle caught fire under the hood, now dealing with a total loss with my vehicle. I kept going to them about the issues and terry gave me the blow off as he was always too busy... his only fix was putting a larger fuse in a circuit meant for a smaller. I had to replace a battery as well. Then the insurance I was paying for that I told would cover any damages was actually only to cover theft not fire. So I now owe smart start over 1000. I paid a month ahead and they won’t credit my account. I’m blown away with this company.
Management won’t help the only employee working. He is installing them has to stop to answer the phone then go back to install them stop when a customer comes for a payment then go back and install and then the phone rings again. He told me it would take less than an hour because my car was older it took 5 hours ! This owner of smart start she really be disappointed in what he has created here.
Pathetic, rude, guy literally just got into a yelling match with me because he told me to learn how to drive because I cant parallel park a car off the back of a flatbed tow truck.I dont know whos running this company but its an abomination quite frankly

I usually get my calibration and all my services at the Auburn location. Terry has helped me tremendously with everything so far. I really recommend this location to anyone that have to go through the process having an interlock device.

Its a good program, but there is downfallsSuch as, the price, yes they have a program but nobody tells you about it, Ive been there for six years and just learned about it, and many more 😠 but I dont want to trash them, I got ten years, I dont want to make it worse 😁
Do not use this company. they are notorious for charging for false positive tests and extending your end date because of it. Just to be clear this is illegal!!! and they do it randomly so be prepared for it, there will be a countdown during this time and you wont be able to blow for more 10 min.RCW states that you must retest within 10 min. They know this.The false positive will force you out of the 10 min mark during the coutndown. When you call the hotline and finally get thru the promts that take 5 minutes to get thru there will be a prompt letting you know that you need to unplug and replug the device in order to retest.they will make you come in for a download charge you a fee and theyll tell you that youll have to make an incident report in order to get your money back or to remove the fee but when you make an incident report they will tell you that it is a contaminant and your fault.There is no supervisor at the call center, they forward you to a voicemail and never call back, rude over the phone and they most of all take advantage of you financially because you already have legal issues. I dont care how nice the techs are the Corporate office will rip you off. Take a look at the consumer reports on this company, they are incompetent and thieves, they do not send reports to dol ontime in order to make you pay an extra month. Its only a matter of time before someone sued this company for the things they do and the money they steal from people.

The Smart Start call center is horrible. Ridiculous hold times and unprofessional call center agents. That being said, the shop in Auburn and the product was good. No one is in a happy place when they have to have an ignition interlock installed, but my experience with them was about as good as I could have hoped for. I have a 2013 vehicle with remote start and push button ignition and had heard previously about how IIDs will wreck the electronics, but I never had any problems at all with their device. If you have to have an IID, I would recommend this shop.

Why does it take them 30-40 minutes to put you on hold? Every SINGLE time I call I always have to wait forever for them to pick up or sometimes they dont pick up at all and I have to hang up. Horrible service

Smart start is b.s. go to life safer or another company. My device always has a malfunction and re h support doesnt help.
These people are rip off artists. They make it so you have to pay for an extra month at the end of your time with them and if you dont they wont send your compliance report to the department of licensing
