We went sally this morning around 10:15am . The girl was working, she is very friendly also she explained about products very well. Really want to mention her name,which is I dont know. Love to go back.
Aug 01, 2021: seems like a new person is being trained but the trainer OMG is so condescending and just talking at the new lady! Didn’t like it at all.
The staff was very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back.
I came in today to exchange a toner for the correct one. Amber was a HUGE help and also gave me some great reviews on the ION Silicone Stying Brush I bought. We also purchased some hair products. The store manager Kealey was also a HUGE help. They were both super friendly and knew their product. I normally buy @ the Fed Way store...NOT ANYMORE! I will 4ever go 2 the Auburn Sallys. Thank you ladies for a great experience.
The stock is sometimes hit or miss but the staff is really great for suggesting options that are in stock. Ive rarely run into any issues finding a good substitute when I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for with their assistance. But that being said I really only buy my hair coloring stuff from there. Ive only had one color ever from there that I had issues with, Manic Panic ultraviolet, and I picked that out with no help from staff so thats on me and Manic Panic, not them. :-)All the staff are friendly and super helpful, every time Ive gotten something they make sure I either have what else I need at home or point me in the right direction, and they dont get pushy about the more expensive brands like Ive experienced at some stores. If a cheap brand is good they will say so. They also tend to know how much of the colors youll likely need for different lengths and thicknesses or hair.Basically this place is awesome 😊

Generally when I go in the young ladies are very sweet...today I called, the girl answered hello like she was answering her private phone, no thanks for calling Sallys, etc., and then I asked if they had a product and her answer was I dont believe we have that, okay?? So how about knowing whether you do or you dont, never offered to look or anything...so one of the staff who was working today 11/15 around 10:30 am was not professional at all.

I had a hair crisis. After going to A&N hair salon my hair was orange so I went to sally to buy hair dye to dye my hair in hopes to fix my orange hair problem. The lady in black hair (I didnt catch her name but I heard the other worker call her boss) was very knowledgeable. I told her what had happened and I showed her a pic of the blond I had originally went into the salon for. She was so nice. She right away showed me the products I should get to get a color similar to the one I wanted. And I only spent $20 :) I went home, dyed it. And it was so much better and actually looked blond. Thank you so much!
Very friendly service. Being in auburn I expected less than helpful or friendly. I went in with low expectations and came out very satisfied. Staff nice and willing to take the time to help you and conversation about the products as well as what you may need. As a person who has been going to a Sallys since 1994 beginning in St.Louis. I am happy to receive that warm friendly welcome and think of home as I come here. The male with the asemetrical haircut is absolutely fabulous.
I have curly hair and I found a few products at Sally beauty that arent sold anywhere else. The workers seem to always be busy, but theyll stop any second to help the customers anytime you need help. Theres always available parking spaces and it seems like they always have a sale going on.
Unfortunately I don’t see myself going here again due to the horrible customer service I’ve encountered more than once. They don’t acknowledge you when you enter the store & they are rude when you ask for their help to find something. The lady behind the counter with the black & red hair & light colored contacts is beyond rude & very unprofessional on so many levels. I don’t recommend going here unless you enjoy being treated poorly by the staff on a regular basis the minute you walk in door til the second you walk out. No thanks, I’ll go somewhere else & not waste my time or spend $ here.
The young ladies that work at this location are super sweet and knowledgeable. Returns are easy as long as you have your receipt.

The lady behind the register was so rude. This isnt my first time dealing with her but Ive lost all patience. I couldnt even read her name badge to make a complaint but she has red and black hair and wears light color contacts. I sent my husband in the morning to pick some thing up and he came home upset about how rude the woman was. I ended up going back later that afternoon to return some hair color and get a different one. She didnt want to give me the sale deal and she said she was just doing an exchange for my items. She didnt give me my sally card discount and charged me for an extra dye instead of just giving me the exchange that was originally on my receipt. I just wanted to get out of there than to deal with her another minute. I will never go back to that location.
Never had an issue here. Eveytime I have gone in everyone has been kind and ask if you need help. They ask several times making it known they know you are still there. Would like to see more rubberbands for different hair types(for thin hair..up to thick hair..ie...thick thick ones) I have to go to Walmart(grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) as they are the only ones who sell them. Ive come to this location for years. Always helpful and nice. Not tonight ..i was so angry i had to step outside ..i listened to the employee say she cant give color advise but told another woman the opposite ..wouldnt scan my sallys card said only can look up by phone number ..ive had the same card forever. They stopped giving new stickers for the cards is what she told me when i renewed it last 3 times but since it was peealing off she refused to take it. Then acted like she was troubled to ring us up .no name tag and just an employee number on her tag ..she sat at the register looking tired and didnt move the whole time. She was rude and my poor mom left without any guidance and slashed her confidance. She made her feel stupid ..younger lady with carmel colored skin and long dark extentions. I felt like i was dealing with an intilted teenager
The manager and young Lady that worked Sunday 10-8-17 were very helpful and made it possible for me to use my coupon and store discount

Ive been shopping at the Sallys in North Auburn now for about 15 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Actually, Ive found myself looking forward to my trip to Sallys in the past because the employees Ive met have always been super outgoing, friendly, helpful, full of answers, and seem to enjoy what they do! My husband and I own a small family owned business in North Auburn about a block away from this Sallys location and we live even closer! I recently underwent surgery for ulcerative colitis and am not able to be out and about as of yet and from the two week stay in the hospital and so far 3 weeks recovery at home without much help my hair has become a tangled matted mess so I did online research and found the best products to help ease the process of detangling my rats nest. I found 3 products to try out and so when my husband stopped by the house to drop our kids off quickly so he could get back to work i asked if he could swing by & pick the 3 things up i needed. He asked if I could call & ask if they could possibly have the products at the counter for him so he didnt have to search for them once there (since he was in a extremely big hurry to get back to work which he had to leave open with nobody there) so I called and simply asked if they could have the 3 products up front since theyd have to find them for him once he got there anyway and we only live across the street and the customer service/front receptionist was super rude and short and chuckled before saying um, sorry but NO we dont do special orders here so I tried to quickly explain the situation and how hed be there in less than two minutes and that shed be finding the products for him once there anyway but she continued to go on saying NO special orders, we dont do the shopping for you and walk around the store finding your things when weve got work to do so sorry but once he gets here then we can point him in the right direction but thats all were required to do I COULDNT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING! That Sallys never has customers when Ive shopped there and Ive never heard a phone ring so how busy can they be and who hates life that much where they cant be kind and do a little more than they are required to do while at work! Ive always seemed to find it satisfying in one way or another being from personal gain or a superior noticing the quality of work done from doing that little extra without being told to each time Ive gone that extra mile so even that feeling of happiness you get after helping someone who needed it is well worth the extra effort! Im going to write corporate and let them know what type of person they have working there. Oh and fyi when I asked for her name(only because of how rude she insisted on being to me when I kept a calm kind tone the entire conversation) she didnt say anything and she put another employee on the phone with me who was not any nicer and when I asked her for her name she gave it to me and I asked if she was the other ladys manager and she said yes(hopefully no manager would put up with an employee who acted the way she did) so I got her name(BREANNA) and she was very hesitant about giving it to me and then I asked what the other employees name was and again she was very hesitant but gave me the name of, HOLLY and I very politely said thank you very much & have a great evening Breanna! My husband just called to inform me he purchased my items and just like I mentioned they ended up having to physically go look for each item for him since he hasnt the slightest clue of what anything means when it comes to beauty products so they would have actually saved themselves time if they would have been a little kinder to a customer asking for a little assistance! Idiots!
Some employees know what theyre talking about, some have no clue at all. I was doubled charged and over charged for something but after 20+ min of them trying to figure out how to use the register I just gave up and left.
I arrived at 9:30 and the store is closed, although it says that your store is open from 9 in the morning.
They have the basics, but the selection for natural hair is a bit light
