We moved into a home that was previously secured by Allied. Immediately upon possession of the property, I contacted them to switch our service over. I was told that they would take a message and get back to me regarding cost of establishing service. They did not return this call or the four calls after that. After escalating to the supervisor, I received an email from someone explaining the $99 activation fee and $50 per month service charge. She sent over the contract for me to sign. I had a few questions about the contract, since I have not actually spoken with anyone and they were asking for a three-year commitment. I wanted to be sure I understood all of the terms and what was included. No response. No return emails. No return phone calls. If I can’t even get someone to answer my questions and take my money, how my supposed to trust these people when my alarm goes off?? This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. With all of the do it yourself home security options available on the market (Ring, Nest, Abode, Simplisafe) I would have thought they would have at least tried to compete with customer service. Wrong.
